Jeremiah 30:5 כִּי־ Yes , kî- כֹה֙ this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar ק֥וֹל “ A cry qō·wl חֲרָדָ֖ה of panic ḥă·rā·ḏāh שָׁמָ֑עְנוּ is heard — šā·mā·‘ə·nū פַּ֖חַד [a cry] of terror , pa·ḥaḏ וְאֵ֥ין not wə·’ên שָׁלֽוֹם׃ of peace . šā·lō·wm Jeremiah 30:6 שַׁאֲלוּ־ Ask ša·’ă·lū- נָ֣א now , nā וּרְא֔וּ and see : ū·rə·’ū אִם־ Can ’im- זָכָ֑ר a male zā·ḵār יֹלֵ֖ד give birth ? yō·lêḏ מַדּוּעַ֩ Why then mad·dū·a‘ רָאִ֨יתִי do I see rā·’î·ṯî כָל־ every ḵāl גֶּ֜בֶר man ge·ḇer יָדָ֤יו with his hands yā·ḏāw עַל־ on ‘al- חֲלָצָיו֙ his stomach ḥă·lā·ṣāw כַּיּ֣וֹלֵדָ֔ה like a woman in labor kay·yō·w·lê·ḏāh כָל־ and every ḵāl פָּנִ֖ים face pā·nîm וְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּ turned wə·ne·hep̄·ḵū לְיֵרָקֽוֹן׃ pale ? lə·yê·rā·qō·wn Jeremiah 30:7 כִּ֥י How kî גָד֛וֹל . . . ḡā·ḏō·wl ה֗וֹי awful hō·w הַה֖וּא that ha·hū הַיּ֥וֹם day will be ! hay·yō·wm מֵאַ֣יִן None will be mê·’a·yin כָּמֹ֑הוּ like it ! kā·mō·hū הִיא֙ It is hî וְעֵֽת־ the time wə·‘êṯ- לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob’s lə·ya·‘ă·qōḇ צָרָ֥ה distress , ṣā·rāh יִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃ but he will be saved yiw·wā·šê·a‘ וּמִמֶּ֖נָּה out of it . ū·mim·men·nāh Jeremiah 30:8 וְהָיָה֩ - wə·hā·yāh הַה֜וּא On that ha·hū בַיּ֨וֹם day , ḇay·yō·wm נְאֻ֣ם׀ declares nə·’um יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֗וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֶשְׁבֹּ֤ר I will break ’eš·bōr עֻלּוֹ֙ the yoke ‘ul·lōw מֵעַ֣ל off mê·‘al צַוָּארֶ֔ךָ their necks ṣaw·wā·re·ḵā אֲנַתֵּ֑ק and tear off ’ă·nat·têq וּמוֹסְרוֹתֶ֖יךָ their bonds , ū·mō·ws·rō·w·ṯe·ḵā וְלֹא־ and no wə·lō- ע֖וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ זָרִֽים׃ will strangers zā·rîm יַעַבְדוּ־ enslave ya·‘aḇ·ḏū- ב֥וֹ them . ḇōw Jeremiah 30:9 וְעָ֣בְד֔וּ Instead, they will serve wə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏū אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם their God ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem וְאֵת֙ and wə·’êṯ דָּוִ֣ד David dā·wiḏ מַלְכָּ֔ם their king , mal·kām אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer אָקִ֖ים I will raise up ’ā·qîm לָהֶֽם׃ס for them . lā·hem Jeremiah 30:10 וְאַתָּ֡ה As for you , wə·’at·tāh יַעֲקֹ֤ב O Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ עַבְדִּ֨י My servant , ‘aḇ·dî אַל־ do not ’al- תִּירָא֩ be afraid , tî·rā נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהֹוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- תֵּחַ֣ת be dismayed , tê·ḥaṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל O Israel . yiś·rā·’êl כִּ֠י For kî הִנְנִ֤י vvv hin·nî מוֹשִֽׁיעֲךָ֙ I will surely save you mō·wō·šî·‘ă·ḵā מֵֽרָח֔וֹק out of a distant place , mê·rā·ḥō·wq וְאֶֽת־ - wə·’eṯ- זַרְעֲךָ֖ your descendants zar·‘ă·ḵā מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ
