שִׁבְיָ֑ם of their captivity ! šiḇ·yām יַעֲקֹ֛ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְשָׁ֧ב will return wə·šāḇ וְשָׁקַ֥ט to quiet wə·šā·qaṭ וְשַׁאֲנַ֖ן and ease , wə·ša·’ă·nan וְאֵ֥ין with no one wə·’ên מַחֲרִֽיד׃ to make him afraid . ma·ḥă·rîḏ Jeremiah 30:11 כִּֽי־ For kî- אֲנִ֛י I [am] ’ă·nî אִתְּךָ֥ with you ’it·tə·ḵā לְהֽוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָ to save you , lə·hō·wō·šî·‘e·ḵā נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh כִּי֩ Though kî אֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה I will completely ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כָלָ֜ה destroy ḵā·lāh בְּכָֽל־ all bə·ḵāl הַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁ֧ר to which ’ă·šer הֲפִצוֹתִ֣יךָ I have scattered you , hă·p̄i·ṣō·w·ṯî·ḵā שָּׁ֗ם . . . šām אַ֤ךְ - ’aḵ אֹֽתְךָ֙ - ’ō·ṯə·ḵā לֹֽא־ I will not lō- אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה completely destroy you ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כָלָ֔ה . . . . ḵā·lāh וְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ Yet I will discipline you wə·yis·sar·tî·ḵā לַמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט justly , lam·miš·pāṭ לֹ֥א and will by no means lō וְנַקֵּ֖ה leave you unpunished wə·naq·qêh אֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃פ . . . . ” ’ă·naq·qe·kā Jeremiah 30:12 כִּ֣י For kî כֹ֥ה this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֛ר says : ’ā·mar לְשִׁבְרֵ֑ךְ “ Your injury lə·šiḇ·rêḵ אָנ֣וּשׁ is incurable ; ’ā·nūš מַכָּתֵֽךְ׃ your wound mak·kā·ṯêḵ נַחְלָ֖ה [is] grievous . naḥ·lāh Jeremiah 30:13 אֵֽין־ [There is] no one ’ên- דָּ֥ן to plead your cause , dān דִּינֵ֖ךְ no dî·nêḵ רְפֻא֥וֹת remedy rə·p̄u·’ō·wṯ לְמָז֑וֹר for your sores , lə·mā·zō·wr אֵ֥ין no ’ên תְּעָלָ֖ה recovery tə·‘ā·lāh לָֽךְ׃ for you . lāḵ Jeremiah 30:14 כָּל־ All kāl- מְאַהֲבַ֣יִךְ your lovers mə·’a·hă·ḇa·yiḵ שְׁכֵח֔וּךְ have forgotten šə·ḵê·ḥūḵ אוֹתָ֖ךְ you ; ’ō·w·ṯāḵ לֹ֣א they no longer lō יִדְרֹ֑שׁוּ seek you , yiḏ·rō·šū כִּי֩ for kî מַכַּ֨ת . . . mak·kaṯ הִכִּיתִיךְ֙ I have struck you hik·kî·ṯîḵ אוֹיֵ֤ב as an enemy would , ’ō·w·yêḇ מוּסַ֣ר with the discipline mū·sar אַכְזָרִ֔י of someone cruel , ’aḵ·zā·rî עַ֚ל because of ‘al רֹ֣ב your great rōḇ עֲוֺנֵ֔ךְ iniquity ‘ă·wō·nêḵ עָצְמ֖וּ and your numerous ‘ā·ṣə·mū חַטֹּאתָֽיִךְ׃ sins . ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯā·yiḵ Jeremiah 30:15 מַה־ Why mah- תִּזְעַק֙ do you cry out tiz·‘aq עַל־ over ‘al- שִׁבְרֵ֔ךְ your wound ? šiḇ·rêḵ מַכְאֹבֵ֑ךְ Your pain maḵ·’ō·ḇêḵ אָנ֖וּשׁ has no cure ! ’ā·nūš עַ֣ל׀ Because of ‘al רֹ֣ב your great rōḇ עֲוֺנֵ֗ךְ iniquity ‘ă·wō·nêḵ עָֽצְמוּ֙ and your numerous ‘ā·ṣə·mū חַטֹּאתַ֔יִךְ sins ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯa·yiḵ עָשִׂ֥יתִי I have done ‘ā·śî·ṯî אֵ֖לֶּה these things ’êl·leh לָֽךְ׃ to you . lāḵ Jeremiah 30:16 לָכֵ֞ן Nevertheless , lā·ḵên כָּל־ all kāl- אֹכְלַ֙יִךְ֙ who devour you ’ō·ḵə·la·yiḵ יֵאָכֵ֔לוּ will be devoured , yê·’ā·ḵê·lū
