שָׁ֑קֶר lies šā·qer הִנְנִ֣י׀ . . . hin·nî בִּשְׁמִ֖י in My name : biš·mî נֹתֵ֣ן “ I will deliver nō·ṯên אֹתָ֗ם them ’ō·ṯām בְּיַד֙ to bə·yaḏ נְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֔ל of Babylon , bā·ḇel וְהִכָּ֖ם and he will kill them wə·hik·kām לְעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ before your very eyes . lə·‘ê·nê·ḵem Jeremiah 29:22 וְלֻקַּ֤ח Because wə·luq·qaḥ מֵהֶם֙ of them , mê·hem לְכֹל֙ all lə·ḵōl גָּל֣וּת the exiles gā·lūṯ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer בְּבָבֶ֖ל are in Babylon bə·ḇā·ḇel קְלָלָ֔ה will use this curse qə·lā·lāh לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . : lê·mōr יְהוָה֙ ‘ May YHWH Yah·weh יְשִֽׂמְךָ֤ make yə·śim·ḵā כְּצִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ you like Zedekiah kə·ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū וּכְאֶחָ֔ב and Ahab , ū·ḵə·’e·ḥāḇ אֲשֶׁר־ whom ’ă·šer- מֶֽלֶךְ־ the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon bā·ḇel קָלָ֥ם roasted qā·lām בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ in the fire !’ bā·’êš Jeremiah 29:23 יַ֡עַן For ya·‘an אֲשֶׁר֩ - ’ă·šer עָשׂ֨וּ they have committed ‘ā·śū נְבָלָ֜ה an outrage nə·ḇā·lāh בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל in Israel bə·yiś·rā·’êl וַיְנַֽאֲפוּ֙ by committing adultery way·na·’ă·p̄ū אֶת־ with ’eṯ- נְשֵׁ֣י the wives nə·šê רֵֽעֵיהֶ֔ם of their neighbors rê·‘ê·hem וַיְדַבְּר֨וּ and speaking way·ḏab·bə·rū דָבָ֤ר . . . ḏā·ḇār שֶׁ֔קֶר lies še·qer בִּשְׁמִי֙ in My name , biš·mî אֲשֶׁ֖ר which ’ă·šer ל֣וֹא I did not lō·w צִוִּיתִ֑ם command them [to do] . ṣiw·wî·ṯim וְאָנֹכִ֛י I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî הוּיֹדֵעַ am He who knows , hū·yō·ḏē·aʿ וָעֵ֖ד and I am a witness , wā·‘êḏ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh Jeremiah 29:24 תֹּאמַ֥ר You are to tell tō·mar וְאֶל־ - wə·’el- שְׁמַעְיָ֥הוּ Shemaiah šə·ma‘·yā·hū הַנֶּחֱלָמִ֖י the Nehelamite han·ne·ḥĕ·lā·mî לֵאמֹֽר׃ that lê·mōr Jeremiah 29:25 כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֛וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֞ר says ’ā·mar לֵאמֹ֑ר - lê·mōr יַ֡עַן - ya·‘an אֲשֶׁ֣ר - : ’ă·šer בְשִׁמְכָ֜ה “ In your own name ḇə·šim·ḵāh אַתָּה֩ you ’at·tāh שָׁלַ֨חְתָּ have sent out šā·laḥ·tā סְפָרִ֗ים letters sə·p̄ā·rîm אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעָם֙ the people hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem , bî·rū·šā·lim וְאֶל־ to wə·’el- הַכֹּהֵ֔ן the priest hak·kō·hên צְפַנְיָ֤ה Zephaniah ṣə·p̄an·yāh בֶן־ son ḇen- מַֽעֲשֵׂיָה֙ of Maaseiah , ma·‘ă·śê·yāh וְאֶ֥ל and to wə·’el כָּל־ all kāl- הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים the priests . hak·kō·hă·nîm לֵאמֹֽר׃ You said [to Zephaniah] : lê·mōr Jeremiah 29:26 יְהוָ֞ה ‘ YHWH Yah·weh נְתָנְךָ֣ has appointed nə·ṯā·nə·ḵā כֹהֵ֗ן you priest ḵō·hên
