גּוֹיִ֣ם nations gō·w·yim גְּדֹלִֽים׃ and great gə·ḏō·lîm וּמְלָכִ֖ים kings ū·mə·lā·ḵîm וְעָ֤בְדוּ will enslave wə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏū בוֹ֙ him . ḇōw Jeremiah 27:8 וְהָיָ֨ה - wə·hā·yāh הַגּ֜וֹי As for the nation hag·gō·w וְהַמַּמְלָכָ֗ה or kingdom wə·ham·mam·lā·ḵāh אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ does not lō- יַעַבְד֤וּ serve ya·‘aḇ·ḏū אֹתוֹ֙ - ’ō·ṯōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֔ל of Babylon bā·ḇel וְאֵ֨ת - wə·’êṯ אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ and does not lō- יִתֵּן֙ place yit·tên אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צַוָּאר֔וֹ its neck ṣaw·wā·rōw בְּעֹ֖ל under [his] yoke bə·‘ōl מֶ֣לֶךְ . . . me·leḵ בָּבֶ֑ל . . . , bā·ḇel אֶפְקֹ֨ד I will punish ’ep̄·qōḏ עַל־ . . . ‘al- הַהוּא֙ that ha·hū הַגּ֤וֹי nation hag·gō·w בַּחֶרֶב֩ by sword ba·ḥe·reḇ וּבָרָעָ֨ב and famine ū·ḇā·rā·‘āḇ וּבַדֶּ֜בֶר and plague , ū·ḇad·de·ḇer נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh עַד־ until ‘aḏ- תֻּמִּ֥י I have destroyed tum·mî אֹתָ֖ם it ’ō·ṯām בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ by his hand . bə·yā·ḏōw Jeremiah 27:9 וְ֠אַתֶּם But as for you , wə·’at·tem אַל־ do not ’al- תִּשְׁמְע֨וּ listen tiš·mə·‘ū אֶל־ to ’el- נְבִיאֵיכֶ֜ם your prophets , nə·ḇî·’ê·ḵem וְאֶל־ wə·’el- קֹֽסְמֵיכֶ֗ם your diviners , qō·sə·mê·ḵem וְאֶל֙ wə·’el חֲלֹמֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם your interpreters of dreams , ḥă·lō·mō·ṯê·ḵem וְאֶל־ wə·’el- עֹֽנְנֵיכֶ֖ם your mediums , ‘ō·nə·nê·ḵem וְאֶל־ wə·’el- כַּשָּׁפֵיכֶ֑ם or your sorcerers kaš·šā·p̄ê·ḵem אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- הֵ֞ם . . . hêm אֹמְרִ֤ים declare ’ō·mə·rîm אֲלֵיכֶם֙ . . . ’ă·lê·ḵem לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . , lê·mōr לֹ֥א ‘ You will not lō תַעַבְד֖וּ serve ṯa·‘aḇ·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֶ֥לֶךְ the king me·leḵ בָּבֶֽל׃ of Babylon .’ bā·ḇel Jeremiah 27:10 כִּ֣י For kî הֵ֖ם they hêm נִבְּאִ֣ים prophesy nib·bə·’îm לָכֶ֑ם to you lā·ḵem שֶׁ֔קֶר a lie še·qer לְמַ֨עַן that will serve lə·ma·‘an הַרְחִ֤יק to remove you har·ḥîq אֶתְכֶם֙ - ’eṯ·ḵem מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al אַדְמַתְכֶ֔ם your land ; ’aḏ·maṯ·ḵem וְהִדַּחְתִּ֥י I will banish you wə·hid·daḥ·tî אֶתְכֶ֖ם - ’eṯ·ḵem וַאֲבַדְתֶּֽם׃ and you will perish . wa·’ă·ḇaḏ·tem Jeremiah 27:11 וְהַגּ֗וֹי But the nation wə·hag·gō·w אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer יָבִ֧יא will put yā·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צַוָּאר֛וֹ its neck ṣaw·wā·rōw בְּעֹ֥ל under the yoke bə·‘ōl מֶֽלֶךְ־ of the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon bā·ḇel וַֽעֲבָד֑וֹ and serve him , wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏōw וְהִנַּחְתִּ֤יו I will leave wə·hin·naḥ·tîw עַל־ in ‘al- אַדְמָתוֹ֙ its own land , ’aḏ·mā·ṯōw וַֽעֲבָדָ֖הּ to cultivate it wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏāh וְיָ֥שַׁב and reside wə·yā·šaḇ
