Jeremiah 26:18 מִיכָיָה “ Micah mī·ḵå̄·yå̄h הַמּ֣וֹרַשְׁתִּ֔י the Moreshite ham·mō·w·raš·tî הָיָ֣ה - hā·yāh נִבָּ֔א prophesied nib·bā בִּימֵ֖י in the days bî·mê חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ of Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and told way·yō·mer אֶל־ . . . ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- עַם֩ the people ‘am יְהוּדָ֨ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh כֹּֽה־ that this is what kōh- אָמַ֣ר׀ . . . ’ā·mar יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֗וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ לֵאמֹ֜ר says : lê·mōr צִיּ֞וֹן ‘ Zion ṣî·yō·wn תֵֽחָרֵשׁ֙ will be plowed ṯê·ḥā·rêš שָׂדֶ֤ה like a field , śā·ḏeh וִירוּשָׁלַ֙יִם֙ Jerusalem wî·rū·šā·la·yim תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה will become tih·yeh עִיִּ֣ים a heap of rubble , ‘î·yîm הַבַּ֖יִת and the temple hab·ba·yiṯ וְהַ֥ר mount wə·har יָֽעַר׃ a wooded yā·‘ar לְבָמ֥וֹת ridge .’ lə·ḇā·mō·wṯ Jeremiah 26:19 חִזְקִיָּ֨הוּ Did Hezekiah ḥiz·qî·yā·hū מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֜ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְכָל־ [or] anyone else wə·ḵāl יְהוּדָ֗ה in Judah yə·hū·ḏāh הֶהָמֵ֣ת put him to death he·hā·mêṯ הֱ֠מִתֻהוּ . . . ? hĕ·mi·ṯu·hū הֲלֹא֮ Did [Hezekiah] not hă·lō יָרֵ֣א fear yā·rê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָה֒ YHWH Yah·weh וַיְחַל֙ and seek way·ḥal אֶת־ ’eṯ- יְהוָ֔ה [His] Yah·weh פְּנֵ֣י favor , pə·nê יְהוָ֔ה and did not YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּנָּ֣חֶם relent way·yin·nā·ḥem אֶל־ of ’el- הָרָעָ֖ה the disaster hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- דִּבֶּ֣ר He had pronounced dib·ber עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם against them ? ‘ă·lê·hem וַאֲנַ֗חְנוּ But we wa·’ă·naḥ·nū עֹשִׂ֛ים are about to bring ‘ō·śîm גְדוֹלָ֖ה great ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh רָעָ֥ה harm rā·‘āh עַל־ on ‘al- נַפְשׁוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ ourselves ! ” nap̄·šō·w·ṯê·nū Jeremiah 26:20 הָיָ֤ה Now there was hā·yāh אִ֗ישׁ another man ’îš וְגַם־ . . . wə·ḡam- מִתְנַבֵּא֙ prophesying miṯ·nab·bê בְּשֵׁ֣ם in the name bə·šêm יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh אֽוּרִיָּ֙הוּ֙ Uriah ’ū·rî·yā·hū בֶּֽן־ son ben- שְׁמַעְיָ֔הוּ of Shemaiah šə·ma‘·yā·hū מִקִּרְיַ֖ת from miq·qir·yaṯ הַיְּעָרִ֑ים Kiriath-jearim . hay·yə·‘ā·rîm וַיִּנָּבֵ֞א He prophesied way·yin·nā·ḇê עַל־ against ‘al- הַזֹּאת֙ this haz·zōṯ הָעִ֤יר city hā·‘îr וְעַל־ and against wə·‘al- הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֣רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ כְּכֹ֖ל the same things kə·ḵōl דִּבְרֵ֥י . . . diḇ·rê יִרְמְיָֽהוּ׃ that Jeremiah [did] . yir·mə·yā·hū Jeremiah 26:21 הַמֶּֽלֶךְ־ King ham·me·leḵ- יְ֠הוֹיָקִים Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl גִּבּוֹרָ֤יו his mighty men gib·bō·w·rāw וְכָל־ and wə·ḵāl הַשָּׂרִים֙ officials haś·śā·rîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע heard way·yiš·ma‘ דְּבָרָ֔יו his words , də·ḇā·rāw הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ and the king ham·me·leḵ וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ sought way·ḇaq·qêš הֲמִית֑וֹ to put him to death . hă·mî·ṯōw אוּרִיָּ֙הוּ֙ But when Uriah ’ū·rî·yā·hū
