שְׁמַעְתֶּֽם׃ you have heard . šə·ma‘·tem Jeremiah 26:13 וְעַתָּ֗ה So now , wə·‘at·tāh הֵיטִ֤יבוּ correct hê·ṭî·ḇū דַרְכֵיכֶם֙ your ways ḏar·ḵê·ḵem וּמַ֣עַלְלֵיכֶ֔ם and deeds , ū·ma·‘al·lê·ḵem וְשִׁמְע֕וּ and obey wə·šim·‘ū בְּק֖וֹל the voice bə·qō·wl יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם your God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem יְהוָ֔ה so that He Yah·weh וְיִנָּחֵ֣ם might relent wə·yin·nā·ḥêm אֶל־ of ’el- הָ֣רָעָ֔ה the disaster hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer דִּבֶּ֖ר He has pronounced dib·ber עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ against you . ‘ă·lê·ḵem Jeremiah 26:14 וַאֲנִ֖י As for me , wa·’ă·nî הִנְנִ֣י here hin·nî בְיֶדְכֶ֑ם I am in your hands ; ḇə·yeḏ·ḵem עֲשׂוּ־ do ‘ă·śū- לִ֛י to me lî בְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ what you think bə·‘ê·nê·ḵem כַּטּ֥וֹב is good kaṭ·ṭō·wḇ וְכַיָּשָׁ֖ר and right . wə·ḵay·yā·šār Jeremiah 26:15 אַ֣ךְ׀ But ’aḵ יָדֹ֣עַ know yā·ḏō·a‘ תֵּדְע֗וּ for certain tê·ḏə·‘ū כִּ֣י that kî אִם־ if ’im- אַתֶּם֮ you ’at·tem מְמִתִ֣ים put me to death mə·mi·ṯîm אֹתִי֒ ’ō·ṯî כִּי־ , kî- אַתֶּם֙ you ’at·tem נֹתְנִ֣ים will bring nō·ṯə·nîm נָקִ֗י innocent nā·qî דָ֣ם blood ḏām עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם upon yourselves , ‘ă·lê·ḵem וְאֶל־ upon wə·’el- הַזֹּ֖את this haz·zōṯ הָעִ֥יר city , hā·‘îr וְאֶל־ and upon wə·’el- יֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָ its residents ; yō·šə·ḇe·hā כִּ֣י for kî בֶאֱמֶ֗ת truly ḇe·’ĕ·meṯ יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh שְׁלָחַ֤נִי has sent me šə·lā·ḥa·nî לְדַבֵּר֙ to speak lə·ḏab·bêr כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ס these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֖ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm בְּאָזְנֵיכֶ֔ם in your hearing bə·’ā·zə·nê·ḵem אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם - .” ‘ă·lê·ḵem Jeremiah 26:16 הַשָּׂרִים֙ Then the officials haś·śā·rîm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הָעָ֔ם the people hā·‘ām וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ told way·yō·mə·rū אֶל־ ’el- הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- הַנְּבִיאִ֑ים and prophets , han·nə·ḇî·’îm הַזֶּה֙ “ This haz·zeh לָאִ֤ישׁ man lā·’îš אֵין־ [is] not ’ên- מִשְׁפַּט־ worthy miš·paṭ- מָ֔וֶת of death , mā·weṯ כִּ֗י for kî דִּבֶּ֥ר he has spoken dib·ber אֵלֵֽינוּ׃ to us ’ê·lê·nū בְּשֵׁ֛ם in the name bə·šêm יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God !” ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Jeremiah 26:17 מִזִּקְנֵ֖י Some of the elders miz·ziq·nê הָאָ֑רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ וַיָּקֻ֣מוּ stood up way·yā·qu·mū אֲנָשִׁ֔ים . . . ’ă·nā·šîm וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ and said way·yō·mə·rū אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ the whole kāl- קְהַ֥ל assembly qə·hal הָעָ֖ם of the people hā·‘ām לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . , lê·mōr
