וְעַ֤ל They will attack wə·‘al כָּל־ all kāl- סָבִ֔יב her surrounding sā·ḇîḇ וְעַ֖ל . . . wə·‘al חוֹמֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ walls ḥō·w·mō·ṯe·hā כָּל־ and all kāl- עָרֵ֥י the other cities ‘ā·rê יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh Jeremiah 1:16 וְדִבַּרְתִּ֤י I will pronounce wə·ḏib·bar·tî מִשְׁפָּטַי֙ My judgments miš·pā·ṭay אוֹתָ֔ם against them ’ō·w·ṯām עַ֖ל for ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- רָעָתָ֑ם their wickedness , rā·‘ā·ṯām אֲשֶׁ֣ר because ’ă·šer עֲזָב֗וּנִי they have forsaken Me ‘ă·zā·ḇū·nî וַֽיְקַטְּרוּ֙ to burn incense way·qaṭ·ṭə·rū אֲחֵרִ֔ים to other ’ă·ḥê·rîm לֵאלֹהִ֣ים gods lê·lō·hîm וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּ and to worship way·yiš·ta·ḥă·wū לְמַעֲשֵׂ֥י the works lə·ma·‘ă·śê יְדֵיהֶֽם׃ of their own hands . yə·ḏê·hem Jeremiah 1:17 וְאַתָּה֙ Get yourself wə·’at·tāh תֶּאְזֹ֣ר ready te’·zōr מָתְנֶ֔יךָ . . . . mā·ṯə·ne·ḵā וְקַמְתָּ֙ Stand up wə·qam·tā וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ and tell wə·ḏib·bar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem אֵ֛ת them ’êṯ כָּל־ everything kāl- אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer אָנֹכִ֖י I ’ā·nō·ḵî אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ command you . ’ă·ṣaw·we·kā אַל־ Do not ’al- תֵּחַת֙ be intimidated tê·ḥaṯ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם by them , mip·pə·nê·hem פֶּֽן־ or pen- אֲחִתְּךָ֖ I will terrify you ’ă·ḥit·tə·ḵā לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ before them . lip̄·nê·hem Jeremiah 1:18 הִנֵּ֧ה Now behold , hin·nêh הַיּ֗וֹם this day hay·yō·wm וַאֲנִ֞י I wa·’ă·nî נְתַתִּ֣יךָ have made you nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā מִבְצָ֜ר like a fortified miḇ·ṣār לְעִ֨יר city , lə·‘îr בַּרְזֶ֛ל an iron bar·zel וּלְעַמּ֥וּד pillar , ū·lə·‘am·mūḏ נְחֹ֖שֶׁת and bronze nə·ḥō·šeṯ וּלְחֹמ֥וֹת walls ū·lə·ḥō·mō·wṯ עַל־ against ‘al- כָּל־ the whole kāl- הָאָ֑רֶץ land — hā·’ā·reṣ לְמַלְכֵ֤י against the kings lə·mal·ḵê יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh לְשָׂרֶ֔יהָ its officials , lə·śā·re·hā לְכֹהֲנֶ֖יהָ its priests , lə·ḵō·hă·ne·hā וּלְעַ֥ם and the people ū·lə·‘am הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the land . hā·’ā·reṣ Jeremiah 1:19 וְנִלְחֲמ֥וּ They will fight wə·nil·ḥă·mū אֵלֶ֖יךָ against you ’ê·le·ḵā וְלֹא־ but will never wə·lō- י֣וּכְלוּ overcome yū·ḵə·lū לָ֑ךְ you , lāḵ כִּֽי־ since kî- אֲנִ֛י I ’ă·nî אִתְּךָ֥ am with you ’it·tə·ḵā לְהַצִּילֶֽךָ׃פ to deliver you ,” lə·haṣ·ṣî·le·ḵā נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 2:1 דְבַר־ Now the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Jeremiah 2:2 הָלֹ֡ךְ “ Go hā·lōḵ וְקָֽרָאתָ֩ and proclaim wə·qā·rā·ṯā בְאָזְנֵ֨י in the hearing ḇə·’ā·zə·nê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim כֹּ֚ה that this is what kōh אָמַ֣ר . . . ’ā·mar יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֗ר says : lê·mōr
