Jeremiah 1:10 רְאֵ֞ה See , rə·’êh הִפְקַדְתִּ֣יךָ׀ I have appointed hip̄·qaḏ·tî·ḵā הַיּ֣וֹם you today hay·yō·wm הַזֶּ֗ה . . . haz·zeh עַל־ over ‘al- הַגּוֹיִם֙ nations hag·gō·w·yim וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- הַמַּמְלָכ֔וֹת and kingdoms ham·mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ לִנְת֥וֹשׁ to uproot lin·ṯō·wōš וְלִנְת֖וֹץ and tear down , wə·lin·ṯō·wṣ וּלְהַאֲבִ֣יד to destroy ū·lə·ha·’ă·ḇîḏ וְלַהֲר֑וֹס and overthrow , wə·la·hă·rō·ws לִבְנ֖וֹת to build liḇ·nō·wṯ וְלִנְטֽוֹעַ׃פ and plant . ” wə·lin·ṭō·w·a‘ Jeremiah 1:11 דְבַר־ And the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֤י came way·hî אֵלַ֣י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹ֔ר asking , lê·mōr יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ “ Jeremiah , yir·mə·yā·hū מָה־ what māh- אַתָּ֥ה do you ’at·tāh רֹאֶ֖ה see ?” rō·’eh אֲנִ֥י “ I ’ă·nî רֹאֶֽה׃ see rō·’eh מַקֵּ֥ל a branch maq·qêl שָׁקֵ֖ד of an almond tree ,” šā·qêḏ וָאֹמַ֕ר I replied . wā·’ō·mar Jeremiah 1:12 לִרְא֑וֹת “ You have observed lir·’ō·wṯ הֵיטַ֣בְתָּ correctly , ” hê·ṭaḇ·tā וַיֹּ֧אמֶר said way·yō·mer יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵלַ֖י - , ’ê·lay כִּֽי־ “ for kî- אֲנִ֛י I ’ă·nî שֹׁקֵ֥ד am watching šō·qêḏ עַל־ over ‘al- דְּבָרִ֖י My word də·ḇā·rî לַעֲשֹׂתֽוֹ׃פ to accomplish it . ” la·‘ă·śō·ṯōw Jeremiah 1:13 שֵׁנִ֣ית Again šê·nîṯ דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֤ה׀ of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֨י came way·hî אֵלַי֙ to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹ֔ר asking , lê·mōr מָ֥ה “ What māh אַתָּ֖ה do you ’at·tāh רֹאֶ֑ה see ?” rō·’eh אֲנִ֣י “ I ’ă·nî רֹאֶ֔ה see rō·’eh נָפ֙וּחַ֙ a boiling nā·p̄ū·aḥ סִ֤יר pot , ” sîr וָאֹמַ֗ר I replied , wā·’ō·mar וּפָנָ֖יו “ and it is tilting toward us ū·p̄ā·nāw מִפְּנֵ֥י from mip·pə·nê צָפֽוֹנָה׃ the north .” ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh Jeremiah 1:14 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֑י to me , ’ê·lāy הָרָעָ֔ה “ Disaster hā·rā·‘āh מִצָּפוֹן֙ from the north miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn תִּפָּתַ֣ח will be poured out tip·pā·ṯaḥ עַ֥ל on ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- יֹשְׁבֵ֖י who live yō·šə·ḇê הָאָֽרֶץ׃ in the land . hā·’ā·reṣ Jeremiah 1:15 כִּ֣י׀ For kî הִנְנִ֣י . . . hin·nî קֹרֵ֗א I am about to summon qō·rê לְכָֽל־ all lə·ḵāl מִשְׁפְּח֛וֹת the clans miš·pə·ḥō·wṯ מַמְלְכ֥וֹת and kingdoms mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ צָפ֖וֹנָה of the north ,” ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh וּבָ֡אוּ “ [Their kings] will come ū·ḇā·’ū אִ֨ישׁ . . . ’îš וְֽנָתְנוּ֩ and set up wə·nā·ṯə·nū כִּסְא֜וֹ their thrones kis·’ōw פֶּ֣תַח׀ at the entrance pe·ṯaḥ שַׁעֲרֵ֣י of the gates ša·‘ă·rê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם of Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim
