אָמַ֧ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh גֹּאַלְךָ֖ your Redeemer , gō·’al·ḵā קְד֣וֹשׁ the Holy qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל One of Israel : yiś·rā·’êl אֲנִ֨י “ I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֤ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā מְלַמֶּדְךָ֣ who teaches mə·lam·meḏ·ḵā לְהוֹעִ֔יל you for your benefit , lə·hō·w·‘îl מַדְרִֽיכֲךָ֖ who directs maḏ·rî·ḵă·ḵā בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ you in the way bə·ḏe·reḵ תֵּלֵֽךְ׃ you should go . tê·lêḵ Isaiah 48:18 ל֥וּא If only lū הִקְשַׁ֖בְתָּ you had paid attention hiq·šaḇ·tā לְמִצְוֺתָ֑י to My commandments , lə·miṣ·wō·ṯāy שְׁלוֹמֶ֔ךָ your peace šə·lō·w·me·ḵā וַיְהִ֤י would have been way·hî כַנָּהָר֙ like a river , ḵan·nā·hār וְצִדְקָתְךָ֖ and your righteousness wə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯə·ḵā כְּגַלֵּ֥י like waves kə·ḡal·lê הַיָּֽם׃ of the sea . hay·yām Isaiah 48:19 זַרְעֶ֔ךָ Your descendants zar·‘e·ḵā וַיְהִ֤י would have been way·hî כַחוֹל֙ as [countless as] the sand , ḵa·ḥō·wl וְצֶאֱצָאֵ֥י and your offspring wə·ṣe·’ĕ·ṣā·’ê מֵעֶ֖יךָ . . . mê·‘e·ḵā כִּמְעֹתָ֑יו as [numerous as] its grains ; kim·‘ō·ṯāw שְׁמ֖וֹ their name šə·mōw לֹֽא־ would never lō- יִכָּרֵ֧ת be cut off yik·kā·rêṯ וְֽלֹא־ . . . wə·lō- יִשָּׁמֵ֛ד or eliminated yiš·šā·mêḏ מִלְּפָנָֽי׃ from My presence . ” mil·lə·p̄ā·nāy Isaiah 48:20 צְא֣וּ Leave ṣə·’ū מִבָּבֶל֮ Babylon ! mib·bā·ḇel בִּרְח֣וּ Flee bir·ḥū מִכַּשְׂדִּים֒ from the Chaldeans ! mik·kaś·dîm הַגִּ֤ידוּ Declare it hag·gî·ḏū בְּק֣וֹל with a shout bə·qō·wl רִנָּ֗ה of joy , rin·nāh הַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ proclaim haš·mî·‘ū זֹ֔את it , zōṯ הוֹצִיא֖וּהָ let it go out hō·w·ṣî·’ū·hā עַד־ to ‘aḏ- קְצֵ֣ה the ends qə·ṣêh הָאָ֑רֶץ of the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ אִמְר֕וּ saying , ’im·rū יְהוָ֖ה “ YHWH Yah·weh גָּאַ֥ל has redeemed gā·’al עַבְדּ֥וֹ His servant ‘aḇ·dōw יַעֲקֹֽב׃ Jacob ! ” ya·‘ă·qōḇ Isaiah 48:21 וְלֹ֣א They did not wə·lō צָמְא֗וּ thirst ṣā·mə·’ū הֽוֹלִיכָ֔ם when He led them hō·w·lî·ḵām בָּחֳרָבוֹת֙ through the deserts ; bā·ḥo·rā·ḇō·wṯ מַ֥יִם He made water ma·yim הִזִּ֣יל flow hiz·zîl לָ֑מוֹ for them lā·mōw מִצּ֖וּר from the rock ; miṣ·ṣūr וַיִּ֨בְקַע־ He split way·yiḇ·qa‘- צ֔וּר the rock , ṣūr מָֽיִם׃ and water mā·yim וַיָּזֻ֖בוּ gushed out . way·yā·zu·ḇū Isaiah 48:22 אֵ֣ין “ There is no ’ên שָׁל֔וֹם peace , ” šā·lō·wm אָמַ֥ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh לָרְשָׁעִֽים׃ס “ for the wicked . ” lā·rə·šā·‘îm Isaiah 49:1 שִׁמְע֤וּ Listen šim·‘ū אֵלַ֔י to Me , ’ê·lay אִיִּים֙ O islands ; ’î·yîm וְהַקְשִׁ֥יבוּ pay attention , wə·haq·šî·ḇū מֵרָח֑וֹק O distant mê·rā·ḥō·wq לְאֻמִּ֖ים peoples : lə·’um·mîm יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh קְרָאָ֔נִי called Me qə·rā·’ā·nî מִבֶּ֣טֶן from the womb ; mib·be·ṭen מִמְּעֵ֥י from the body mim·mə·‘ê אִמִּ֖י of My mother ’im·mî הִזְכִּ֥יר He named Me hiz·kîr שְׁמִֽי׃ . . . . šə·mî
