עֲבָדָ֥יו their servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מִקְנֵ֖הוּ and livestock miq·nê·hū בַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃פ in the field . baś·śā·ḏeh Exodus 9:22 יְהוָ֜ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁה Moses , mō·šeh נְטֵ֤ה “ Stretch out nə·ṭêh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָֽדְךָ֙ your hand yā·ḏə·ḵā עַל־ toward ‘al- הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם heaven , haš·šā·ma·yim בָרָ֖ד so that hail ḇā·rāḏ וִיהִ֥י may fall wî·hî בְּכָל־ on all bə·ḵāl אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt — miṣ·rā·yim עַל־ on ‘al- הָאָדָ֣ם man hā·’ā·ḏām וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- הַבְּהֵמָ֗ה and beast hab·bə·hê·māh וְעַ֛ל . . . wə·‘al כָּל־ and every kāl- עֵ֥שֶׂב plant ‘ê·śeḇ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה of the field haś·śā·ḏeh בְּאֶ֥רֶץ throughout the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . ” miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 9:23 מֹשֶׁ֣ה So Moses mō·šeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיֵּ֨ט stretched out way·yêṭ מַטֵּהוּ֮ his staff maṭ·ṭê·hū עַל־ toward ‘al- הַשָּׁמַיִם֒ heaven , haš·šā·ma·yim וַֽיהוָ֗ה and YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֤ן sent nā·ṯan קֹלֹת֙ thunder qō·lōṯ וּבָרָ֔ד and hail , ū·ḇā·rāḏ אֵ֖שׁ and lightning ’êš וַתִּ֥הֲלַךְ struck wat·ti·hă·laḵ אָ֑רְצָה the earth . ’ā·rə·ṣāh יְהוָ֛ה So YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּמְטֵ֧ר rained down way·yam·ṭêr בָּרָ֖ד hail bā·rāḏ עַל־ upon ‘al- אֶ֥רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 9:24 בָרָ֔ד The hail ḇā·rāḏ וַיְהִ֣י fell way·hî וְאֵ֕שׁ and the lightning wə·’êš מִתְלַקַּ֖חַת continued flashing miṯ·laq·qa·ḥaṯ בְּת֣וֹךְ through it . bə·ṯō·wḵ הַבָּרָ֑ד The hail hab·bā·rāḏ מְאֹ֔ד was so mə·’ōḏ כָּבֵ֣ד severe kā·ḇêḏ אֲ֠שֶׁר that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ nothing lō- כָמֹ֙הוּ֙ like it ḵā·mō·hū הָיָ֤ה had ever been [seen] hā·yāh בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim מֵאָ֖ז from the time mê·’āz הָיְתָ֥ה it became hā·yə·ṯāh לְגֽוֹי׃ a nation . lə·ḡō·w Exodus 9:25 בְּכָל־ Throughout bə·ḵāl אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֗יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ הַבָּרָ֜ד the hail hab·bā·rāḏ וַיַּ֨ךְ struck down way·yaḵ כָּל־ everything kāl- אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the field , baś·śā·ḏeh מֵאָדָ֖ם both man mê·’ā·ḏām וְעַד־ and wə·‘aḏ- בְּהֵמָ֑ה beast ; bə·hê·māh וְאֵ֨ת - wə·’êṯ הַבָּרָ֔ד [it] hab·bā·rāḏ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הִכָּ֣ה beat down hik·kāh כָּל־ every kāl- עֵ֤שֶׂב plant ‘ê·śeḇ הַשָּׂדֶה֙ of the field haś·śā·ḏeh שִׁבֵּֽר׃ and stripped šib·bêr כָּל־ every kāl- עֵ֥ץ tree ‘êṣ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה . . . . haś·śā·ḏeh
