אֹת֛וֹ it ’ō·ṯōw הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה into the air , haš·šā·mā·yə·māh וַיְהִ֗י and way·hî אֲבַעְבֻּעֹ֔ת festering ’ă·ḇa‘·bu·‘ōṯ שְׁחִין֙ boils šə·ḥîn פֹּרֵ֕חַ broke out pō·rê·aḥ בָּאָדָ֖ם on man bā·’ā·ḏām וּבַבְּהֵמָֽה׃ and beast . ū·ḇab·bə·hê·māh Exodus 9:11 הַֽחַרְטֻמִּ֗ים The magicians ha·ḥar·ṭum·mîm יָכְל֣וּ could yā·ḵə·lū וְלֹֽא־ not wə·lō- לַעֲמֹ֛ד stand la·‘ă·mōḏ לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses , mō·šeh מִפְּנֵ֣י because mip·pə·nê הַשְּׁחִ֑ין the boils haš·šə·ḥîn כִּֽי־ - kî- הַשְּׁחִ֔ין - haš·šə·ḥîn הָיָ֣ה had broken out hā·yāh בַּֽחֲרְטֻמִּ֖ם on [them] ba·ḥăr·ṭum·mim וּבְכָל־ and on all ū·ḇə·ḵāl מִצְרָֽיִם׃ the Egyptians . miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 9:12 יְהוָה֙ But YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק hardened way·ḥaz·zêq פַּרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh’s par·‘ōh לֵ֣ב heart , lêḇ וְלֹ֥א and he would not wə·lō שָׁמַ֖ע listen šā·ma‘ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ . . . ’el- דִּבֶּ֥ר had said dib·ber מֹשֶֽׁה׃ס to Moses . mō·šeh Exodus 9:13 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses , mō·šeh הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם “ Get up early haš·kêm בַּבֹּ֔קֶר in the morning , bab·bō·qer וְהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב stand wə·hiṯ·yaṣ·ṣêḇ לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê פַרְעֹ֑ה Pharaoh , p̄ar·‘ōh וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and tell him wə·’ā·mar·tā אֵלָ֗יו that ’ê·lāw כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê הָֽעִבְרִ֔ים of the Hebrews , hā·‘iḇ·rîm אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar עַמִּ֖י ‘ Let My people ‘am·mî שַׁלַּ֥ח go , šal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃ so that they may worship Me . wə·ya·‘aḇ·ḏu·nî Exodus 9:14 כִּ֣י׀ Otherwise kî בַּפַּ֣עַם . . . bap·pa·‘am הַזֹּ֗את . . . , haz·zōṯ אֲנִ֨י I ’ă·nî שֹׁלֵ֜חַ will send šō·lê·aḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- מַגֵּפֹתַי֙ My plagues mag·gê·p̄ō·ṯay אֶֽל־ against ’el- לִבְּךָ֔ you lib·bə·ḵā וּבַעֲבָדֶ֖יךָ and your officials ū·ḇa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā וּבְעַמֶּ֑ךָ and your people , ū·ḇə·‘am·me·ḵā בַּעֲב֣וּר so ba·‘ă·ḇūr תֵּדַ֔ע you may know tê·ḏa‘ כִּ֛י that kî אֵ֥ין [there is] no one ’ên כָּמֹ֖נִי like Me kā·mō·nî בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Exodus 9:15 כִּ֤י For kî עַתָּה֙ by this time ‘at·tāh שָׁלַ֣חְתִּי I could have stretched out šā·laḥ·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֔י My hand yā·ḏî וָאַ֥ךְ and struck wā·’aḵ אוֹתְךָ֛ you ’ō·wṯ·ḵā וְאֶֽת־ and wə·’eṯ- עַמְּךָ֖ your people ‘am·mə·ḵā בַּדָּ֑בֶר with a plague bad·dā·ḇer וַתִּכָּחֵ֖ד to wipe you wat·tik·kā·ḥêḏ
