יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH , Yah·weh Exodus 8:31 יְהוָה֙ and YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּ֤עַשׂ did way·ya·‘aś מֹשֶׁ֔ה as Moses mō·šeh כִּדְבַ֣ר requested . kiḏ·ḇar וַיָּ֙סַר֙ He removed way·yā·sar הֶעָרֹ֔ב the swarms [of flies] he·‘ā·rōḇ מִפַּרְעֹ֖ה from Pharaoh mip·par·‘ōh מֵעֲבָדָ֣יו and his officials mê·‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וּמֵעַמּ֑וֹ and his people ; ū·mê·‘am·mōw לֹ֥א not lō אֶחָֽד׃ one [fly] ’e·ḥāḏ נִשְׁאַ֖ר remained . niš·’ar Exodus 8:32 פַּרְעֹה֙ But Pharaoh par·‘ōh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּכְבֵּ֤ד hardened way·yaḵ·bêḏ לִבּ֔וֹ his heart lib·bōw הַזֹּ֑את this haz·zōṯ בַּפַּ֣עַם time bap·pa·‘am גַּ֖ם as well , gam וְלֹ֥א and he would not wə·lō הָעָֽם׃פ let the people hā·‘ām שִׁלַּ֖ח go . šil·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- Exodus 9:1 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses , mō·šeh בֹּ֖א “ Go bō אֶל־ to ’el- פַּרְעֹ֑ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ and tell him wə·ḏib·bar·tā אֵלָ֗יו that ’ê·lāw כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê הָֽעִבְרִ֔ים of the Hebrews , hā·‘iḇ·rîm אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar עַמִּ֖י ‘ Let My people ‘am·mî שַׁלַּ֥ח go , šal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃ so that they may worship Me . wə·ya·‘aḇ·ḏu·nî Exodus 9:2 כִּ֛י But kî אִם־ if ’im- אַתָּ֖ה you ’at·tāh וְעוֹדְךָ֖ continue wə·‘ō·wḏ·ḵā מַחֲזִ֥יק to restrain ma·ḥă·zîq בָּֽם׃ them bām מָאֵ֥ן and refuse mā·’ên לְשַׁלֵּ֑חַ to let them go , lə·šal·lê·aḥ Exodus 9:3 הִנֵּ֨ה then hin·nêh יַד־ the hand yaḏ- יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH Yah·weh הוֹיָ֗ה will bring hō·w·yāh כָּבֵ֥ד a severe kā·ḇêḏ מְאֹֽד׃ . . . mə·’ōḏ דֶּ֖בֶר plague de·ḇer בְּמִקְנְךָ֙ on your livestock bə·miq·nə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the field — baś·śā·ḏeh בַּסּוּסִ֤ים on your horses , bas·sū·sîm בַּֽחֲמֹרִים֙ donkeys , ba·ḥă·mō·rîm בַּגְּמַלִּ֔ים camels , bag·gə·mal·lîm בַּבָּקָ֖ר herds , bab·bā·qār וּבַצֹּ֑אן and flocks . ū·ḇaṣ·ṣōn Exodus 9:4 יְהוָ֔ה But YHWH Yah·weh וְהִפְלָ֣ה will make a distinction wə·hip̄·lāh בֵּ֚ין between bên מִקְנֵ֣ה the livestock miq·nêh יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וּבֵ֖ין . . . ū·ḇên מִקְנֵ֣ה and the livestock miq·nêh מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim וְלֹ֥א so that no [animal] wə·lō דָּבָֽר׃ . . . dā·ḇār מִכָּל־ belonging to mik·kāl לִבְנֵ֥י the Israelites liḇ·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl יָמ֛וּת will die . ’” yā·mūṯ
