Isaiah 43:1 וְעַתָּ֞ה Now wə·‘at·tāh כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֤ר says — ’ā·mar בֹּרַאֲךָ֣ He who created you , bō·ra·’ă·ḵā יַעֲקֹ֔ב O Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְיֹצֶרְךָ֖ and He who formed you , wə·yō·ṣer·ḵā יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל O Israel : yiś·rā·’êl אַל־ “ Do not ’al- תִּירָא֙ fear , tî·rā כִּ֣י for kî גְאַלְתִּ֔יךָ I have redeemed you ; ḡə·’al·tî·ḵā קָרָ֥אתִי I have called qā·rā·ṯî בְשִׁמְךָ֖ you by your name ; ḇə·šim·ḵā אָֽתָּה׃ you are ’āt·tāh לִי־ Mine ! lî- Isaiah 43:2 כִּֽי־ When kî- תַעֲבֹ֤ר you pass ṯa·‘ă·ḇōr בַּמַּ֙יִם֙ through the waters , bam·ma·yim אָ֔נִי I ’ā·nî אִתְּךָ־ will be with you ; ’it·tə·ḵā- וּבַנְּהָר֖וֹת and [when you go through] the rivers , ū·ḇan·nə·hā·rō·wṯ לֹ֣א they will not lō יִשְׁטְפ֑וּךָ overwhelm you . yiš·ṭə·p̄ū·ḵā כִּֽי־ When kî- תֵלֵ֤ךְ you walk ṯê·lêḵ בְּמוֹ־ through bə·mōw- אֵשׁ֙ the fire , ’êš לֹ֣א you will not lō תִכָּוֶ֔ה be scorched ; ṯik·kā·weh וְלֶהָבָ֖ה the flames wə·le·hā·ḇāh לֹ֥א will not lō תִבְעַר־ set you ablaze ṯiḇ·‘ar- בָּֽךְ׃ . . . . bāḵ Isaiah 43:3 כִּ֗י For kî אֲנִי֙ I [am] ’ă·nî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā קְד֥וֹשׁ the Holy qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל One of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl מוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָ your Savior ; mō·wō·šî·‘e·ḵā נָתַ֤תִּי I give nā·ṯat·tî מִצְרַ֔יִם Egypt miṣ·ra·yim כָפְרְךָ֙ [for] your ransom , ḵā·p̄ə·rə·ḵā כּ֥וּשׁ Cush kūš וּסְבָ֖א and Seba ū·sə·ḇā תַּחְתֶּֽיךָ׃ in your place . taḥ·te·ḵā Isaiah 43:4 מֵאֲשֶׁ֨ר Because mê·’ă·šer יָקַ֧רְתָּ you are precious yā·qar·tā נִכְבַּ֖דְתָּ and honored niḵ·baḏ·tā בְעֵינַ֛י in My sight , ḇə·‘ê·nay וַאֲנִ֣י and [because] I wa·’ă·nî אֲהַבְתִּ֑יךָ love you , ’ă·haḇ·tî·ḵā וְאֶתֵּ֤ן I will give wə·’et·tên אָדָם֙ men ’ā·ḏām תַּחְתֶּ֔יךָ in exchange for you taḥ·te·ḵā וּלְאֻמִּ֖ים and nations ū·lə·’um·mîm תַּ֥חַת in place of ta·ḥaṯ נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ your life . nap̄·še·ḵā Isaiah 43:5 אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּירָ֖א be afraid , tî·rā כִּ֣י for kî אָ֑נִי I ’ā·nî אִתְּךָ־ am with you ; ’it·tə·ḵā- אָבִ֣יא I will bring ’ā·ḇî זַרְעֶ֔ךָ your offspring zar·‘e·ḵā מִמִּזְרָח֙ from the east mim·miz·rāḥ אֲקַבְּצֶֽךָּ׃ and gather you ’ă·qab·bə·ṣe·kā וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֖ב from the west . ū·mim·ma·‘ă·rāḇ Isaiah 43:6 אֹמַ֤ר I will say ’ō·mar לַצָּפוֹן֙ to the north , laṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn תֵּ֔נִי ‘ Give them up ! ’ tê·nî וּלְתֵימָ֖ן and to the south , ū·lə·ṯê·mān אַל־ ‘ Do not ’al- תִּכְלָ֑אִי hold them back ! ’ tiḵ·lā·’î הָבִ֤יאִי Bring hā·ḇî·’î בָנַי֙ My sons ḇā·nay מֵרָח֔וֹק from afar , mê·rā·ḥō·wq וּבְנוֹתַ֖י and My daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯay מִקְצֵ֥ה from the ends miq·ṣêh הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth — hā·’ā·reṣ
