לָאָדָֽם׃ . . . . lā·’ā·ḏām Proverbs 27:20 שְׁא֣וֹל Sheol šə·’ō·wl וַאֲבַדֹּה and Abaddon wa·ʾă·ḇad·dōh לֹ֣א are never lō תִשְׂבַּ֑עְנָה satisfied ; ṯiś·ba‘·nāh וְעֵינֵ֥י so the eyes wə·‘ê·nê הָ֝אָדָ֗ם of man hā·’ā·ḏām לֹ֣א are never lō תִשְׂבַּֽעְנָה׃ satisfied . ṯiś·ba‘·nāh Proverbs 27:21 מַצְרֵ֣ף A crucible maṣ·rêp̄ לַ֭כֶּסֶף for silver lak·ke·sep̄ וְכ֣וּר and a furnace wə·ḵūr לַזָּהָ֑ב for gold , laz·zā·hāḇ וְ֝אִ֗ישׁ but a man [is tested] wə·’îš מַהֲלָלֽוֹ׃ by the praise ma·hă·lā·lōw לְפִ֣י accorded him . lə·p̄î Proverbs 27:22 אִ֥ם Though ’im תִּכְתּֽוֹשׁ־ you grind tiḵ·tō·wōš- אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֱוִ֨יל׀ a fool hā·’ĕ·wîl הָ֭רִיפוֹת like grain hā·rî·p̄ō·wṯ בַּֽמַּכְתֵּ֡שׁ with mortar bam·maḵ·têš בְּת֣וֹךְ [and] bə·ṯō·wḵ בַּֽעֱלִ֑י a pestle , ba·‘ĕ·lî אִוַּלְתּֽוֹ׃פ [yet] his folly ’iw·wal·tōw לֹא־ will not lō- תָס֥וּר depart ṯā·sūr מֵ֝עָלָ֗יו from him . mê·‘ā·lāw Proverbs 27:23 יָדֹ֣עַ Be sure to know yā·ḏō·a‘ תֵּ֭דַע . . . tê·ḏa‘ פְּנֵ֣י the state pə·nê צֹאנֶ֑ךָ of your flocks , ṣō·ne·ḵā שִׁ֥ית and pay close attention šîṯ לִ֝בְּךָ֗ . . . lib·bə·ḵā לַעֲדָרִֽים׃ to your herds ; la·‘ă·ḏā·rîm Proverbs 27:24 כִּ֤י for kî חֹ֑סֶן riches ḥō·sen לֹ֣א [are] not lō לְעוֹלָ֣ם forever , lə·‘ō·w·lām וְאִם־ nor does wə·’im- נֵ֝֗זֶר a crown nê·zer לְד֣וֹר [endure] to every lə·ḏō·wr דּוֹר׃ generation . dōr Proverbs 27:25 חָ֭צִיר When hay ḥā·ṣîr גָּלָ֣ה is removed gā·lāh דֶ֑שֶׁא and new growth ḏe·še וְנִרְאָה־ appears wə·nir·’āh- עִשְּׂב֥וֹת and the grain ‘iś·śə·ḇō·wṯ הָרִֽים׃ from the hills hā·rîm וְ֝נֶאֶסְפ֗וּ is gathered , wə·ne·’es·p̄ū Proverbs 27:26 כְּבָשִׂ֥ים the lambs kə·ḇā·śîm לִלְבוּשֶׁ֑ךָ will provide you with clothing , lil·ḇū·še·ḵā עַתּוּדִֽים׃ and the goats ‘at·tū·ḏîm וּמְחִ֥יר with the price ū·mə·ḥîr שָׂ֝דֶ֗ה of a field . ḏeh Proverbs 27:27 וְדֵ֤י׀ You will have plenty wə·ḏê עִזִּ֗ים of goats’ ‘iz·zîm חֲלֵ֬ב milk ḥă·lêḇ לְֽ֭לַחְמְךָ to feed you — lə·laḥ·mə·ḵā לְלֶ֣חֶם food lə·le·ḥem בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ for your household bê·ṯe·ḵā וְ֝חַיִּ֗ים and nourishment wə·ḥay·yîm לְנַעֲרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ for your maidservants . lə·na·‘ă·rō·w·ṯe·ḵā Proverbs 28:1 רָשָׁ֑ע The wicked rā·šā‘ נָ֣סוּ flee nā·sū וְאֵין־ when no one wə·’ên- רֹדֵ֣ף pursues , rō·ḏêp̄ וְ֝צַדִּיקִ֗ים but the righteous wə·ṣad·dî·qîm יִבְטָֽח׃ are as bold yiḇ·ṭāḥ כִּכְפִ֥יר as a lion . kiḵ·p̄îr
