כֹּחֶֽכָה׃ [is] your strength ! kō·ḥe·ḵāh Proverbs 24:11 הַ֭צֵּל Rescue haṣ·ṣêl לְקֻחִ֣ים those being led away lə·qu·ḥîm לַמָּ֑וֶת to death , lam·mā·weṯ תַּחְשֽׂוֹךְ׃ and restrain taḥ·śō·wḵ וּמָטִ֥ים those stumbling ū·mā·ṭîm לַ֝הֶ֗רֶג toward the slaughter la·he·reḡ אִם־ . . . . ’im- Proverbs 24:12 כִּֽי־ If kî- תֹאמַ֗ר you say , ṯō·mar הֵן֮ “ Behold , hên לֹא־ we did not lō- יָדַ֪עְנ֫וּ know yā·ḏa‘·nū זֶ֥ה about this , ” zeh הֲ does not hălō- הֽוּא־ He hū- תֹ֘כֵ֤ן who weighs ṯō·ḵên לִבּ֨וֹת׀ hearts lib·bō·wṯ יָבִ֗ין consider it ? yā·ḇîn ה֣וּא Does not the One hū וְנֹצֵ֣ר who guards wə·nō·ṣêr נַ֭פְשְׁךָ your life nap̄·šə·ḵā יֵדָ֑ע know ? yê·ḏā‘ וְהֵשִׁ֖יב Will He not repay wə·hê·šîḇ לְאָדָ֣ם a man lə·’ā·ḏām כְּפָעֳלֽוֹ׃ according to his deeds ? kə·p̄ā·‘o·lōw Proverbs 24:13 אֱכָל־ Eat ’ĕ·ḵāl- דְבַ֣שׁ honey , ḏə·ḇaš בְּנִ֣י my son , bə·nî כִּי־ for kî- ט֑וֹב it is good , ṭō·wḇ וְנֹ֥פֶת and the honeycomb wə·nō·p̄eṯ מָ֝ת֗וֹק is sweet mā·ṯō·wq עַל־ to your ‘al- חִכֶּֽךָ׃ taste . ḥik·ke·ḵā Proverbs 24:14 דְּעֶ֥ה Know də·‘eh כֵּ֤ן׀ therefore kên חָכְמָ֗ה that wisdom [is sweet] ḥāḵ·māh לְנַ֫פְשֶׁ֥ךָ to your soul . lə·nap̄·še·ḵā אִם־ If ’im- מָ֭צָאתָ you find it , mā·ṣā·ṯā וְיֵ֣שׁ there is wə·yêš אַחֲרִ֑ית a future [for you] , ’a·ḥă·rîṯ וְ֝תִקְוָתְךָ֗ and your hope wə·ṯiq·wā·ṯə·ḵā לֹ֣א will never lō תִכָּרֵֽת׃פ be cut off . ṯik·kā·rêṯ Proverbs 24:15 אַל־ Do not ’al- תֶּאֱרֹ֣ב lie in wait , te·’ĕ·rōḇ רָ֭שָׁע O wicked [man] , rā·šā‘ לִנְוֵ֣ה near the dwelling lin·wêh צַדִּ֑יק of the righteous ; ṣad·dîq אַֽל־ do not ’al- תְּשַׁדֵּ֥ד destroy tə·šad·dêḏ רִבְצוֹ׃ his resting place . riḇ·ṣō Proverbs 24:16 כִּ֤י For though kî צַדִּ֣יק a righteous [man] ṣad·dîq יִפּ֣וֹל may fall yip·pō·wl שֶׁ֨בַע׀ seven times , še·ḇa‘ וָקָ֑ם he still gets up ; wā·qām וּ֝רְשָׁעִ֗ים but the wicked ū·rə·šā·‘îm יִכָּשְׁל֥וּ stumble yik·kā·šə·lū בְרָעָֽה׃ in bad [times] . ḇə·rā·‘āh Proverbs 24:17 אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּשְׂמָ֑ח gloat tiś·māḥ אוֹיְבֶיךָ when your enemy ʾō·yə·ḇɛ·ḵå̄ בִּנְפֹ֣ל falls , bin·p̄ōl אַל־ and do not ’al- לִבֶּֽךָ׃ let your heart lib·be·ḵā יָגֵ֥ל rejoice yā·ḡêl וּ֝בִכָּשְׁל֗וֹ when he stumbles , ū·ḇik·kā·šə·lōw Proverbs 24:18 פֶּן־ or pen- יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh יִרְאֶ֣ה will see yir·’eh וְרַ֣ע and disapprove wə·ra‘ בְּעֵינָ֑יו . . . , bə·‘ê·nāw אַפּֽוֹ׃ and turn His wrath ’ap·pōw
