וַיּֽוֹצִאָהּ֙ and when he took it out , way·yō·w·ṣi·’āh מֵֽחֵיק֔וֹ . . . mê·ḥê·qōw וְהִנֵּה־ . . . wə·hin·nêh- שָׁ֖בָה it was restored , šā·ḇāh כִּבְשָׂרֽוֹ׃ like the rest of his skin . kiḇ·śā·rōw Exodus 4:8 וְהָיָה֙ [And YHWH said,] wə·hā·yāh אִם־ “ If ’im- לֹ֣א they refuse lō יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ to believe ya·’ă·mî·nū לָ֔ךְ you lāḵ וְלֹ֣א or wə·lō יִשְׁמְע֔וּ heed yiš·mə·‘ū לְקֹ֖ל the witness lə·qōl הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן of the first hā·ri·šō·wn הָאֹ֣ת sign , hā·’ōṯ וְהֶֽאֱמִ֔ינוּ they may believe wə·he·’ĕ·mî·nū לְקֹ֖ל [that] lə·qōl הָאַחֲרֽוֹן׃ of the second hā·’a·ḥă·rō·wn הָאֹ֥ת . . . . hā·’ōṯ Exodus 4:9 וְהָיָ֡ה But wə·hā·yāh אִם־ if ’im- לֹ֣א they do not lō יַאֲמִ֡ינוּ believe ya·’ă·mî·nū גַּם֩ even gam הָאֵ֗לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh וְלֹ֤א . . . wə·lō לִשְׁנֵ֨י two liš·nê הָאֹת֜וֹת signs hā·’ō·ṯō·wṯ יִשְׁמְעוּן֙ or listen yiš·mə·‘ūn לְקֹלֶ֔ךָ to your voice , lə·qō·le·ḵā וְלָקַחְתָּ֙ take wə·lā·qaḥ·tā מִמֵּימֵ֣י some water mim·mê·mê הַיְאֹ֔ר from the Nile hay·’ōr וְשָׁפַכְתָּ֖ and pour wə·šā·p̄aḵ·tā הַיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה it on the dry ground . hay·yab·bā·šāh וְהָי֤וּ Then wə·hā·yū הַמַּ֙יִם֙ the water ham·ma·yim אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer תִּקַּ֣ח you take tiq·qaḥ מִן־ from min- הַיְאֹ֔ר the Nile hay·’ōr וְהָי֥וּ will become wə·hā·yū לְדָ֖ם blood lə·ḏām בַּיַּבָּֽשֶׁת׃ on the ground . ” bay·yab·bā·šeṯ Exodus 4:10 בִּ֣י “ Please , bî אֲדֹנָי֒ Lord , ” ’ă·ḏō·nāy מֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר replied way·yō·mer אֶל־ . . . ’el- יְהוָה֮ . . . , Yah·weh אָנֹ֗כִי “ I ’ā·nō·ḵî לֹא֩ have never lō אִ֨ישׁ . . . ’îš דְּבָרִ֜ים been eloquent , də·ḇā·rîm גַּ֤ם neither gam מִתְּמוֹל֙ in the past mit·tə·mō·wl גַּ֣ם gam מִשִּׁלְשֹׁ֔ם - miš·šil·šōm גַּ֛ם nor gam מֵאָ֥ז since mê·’āz דַּבֶּרְךָ You have spoken dab·bɛr·ḵå̄ אֶל־ to ’el- עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ Your servant , ‘aḇ·de·ḵā כִּ֧י for kî אָנֹֽכִי׃ I ’ā·nō·ḵî כְבַד־ am slow ḵə·ḇaḏ- פֶּ֛ה of speech peh וּכְבַ֥ד and ū·ḵə·ḇaḏ לָשׁ֖וֹן tongue . ” lā·šō·wn Exodus 4:11 יְהוָ֜ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֗יו to him , ’ê·lāw מִ֣י “ Who mî שָׂ֣ם gave śām לָֽאָדָם֒ man lā·’ā·ḏām פֶּה֮ his mouth ? peh א֚וֹ Or ’ōw מִֽי־ who mî- יָשׂ֣וּם makes yā·śūm אִלֵּ֔ם the mute ’il·lêm א֣וֹ or ’ōw חֵרֵ֔שׁ the deaf , ḥê·rêš א֥וֹ . . . ’ōw פִקֵּ֖חַ the sighted p̄iq·qê·aḥ א֣וֹ or ’ōw עִוֵּ֑ר the blind ? ‘iw·wêr הֲלֹ֥א Is it not hă·lō אָנֹכִ֖י I , ’ā·nō·ḵî
