פַחְדְּכֶֽם׃ when terror p̄aḥ·də·ḵem בְּבֹ֣א strikes you , bə·ḇō Proverbs 1:27 פַּחְדְּכֶ֗ם when your dread paḥ·də·ḵem בְּבֹ֤א comes bə·ḇō כְשַׁאֲוָה like a storm , ḵə·ša·ʾă·wå̄h וְֽ֭אֵידְכֶם and your destruction wə·’ê·ḏə·ḵem יֶאֱתֶ֑ה - ye·’ĕ·ṯeh כְּסוּפָ֣ה like a whirlwind , kə·sū·p̄āh צָרָ֥ה when distress ṣā·rāh וְצוּקָֽה׃ and anguish wə·ṣū·qāh בְּבֹ֥א overwhelm you bə·ḇō עֲ֝לֵיכֶ֗ם . . . . ‘ă·lê·ḵem Proverbs 1:28 אָ֣ז Then ’āz יִ֭קְרָאֻנְנִי they will call on me , yiq·rā·’un·nî וְלֹ֣א but I will not wə·lō אֶֽעֱנֶ֑ה answer ; ’e·‘ĕ·neh יְ֝שַׁחֲרֻ֗נְנִי they {will} earnestly seek me , yə·ša·ḥă·run·nî וְלֹ֣א but {will} not wə·lō יִמְצָאֻֽנְנִי׃ find me . yim·ṣā·’un·nî Proverbs 1:29 תַּ֭חַת vvv ta·ḥaṯ כִּי־ For kî- שָׂ֣נְאוּ they hated śā·nə·’ū דָ֑עַת knowledge ḏā·‘aṯ בָחָֽרוּ׃ and chose ḇā·ḥā·rū לֹ֣א not lō וְיִרְאַ֥ת to fear wə·yir·’aṯ יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה YHWH . Yah·weh Proverbs 1:30 אָב֥וּ They accepted ’ā·ḇū לֹא־ none lō- לַעֲצָתִ֑י of my counsel ; la·‘ă·ṣā·ṯî נָ֝אֲצ֗וּ they despised nā·’ă·ṣū כָּל־ all kāl- תּוֹכַחְתִּֽי׃ my reproof . tō·w·ḵaḥ·tî Proverbs 1:31 וְֽ֭יֹאכְלוּ So they {will} eat wə·yō·ḵə·lū מִפְּרִ֣י the fruit mip·pə·rî דַרְכָּ֑ם of their own way , ḏar·kām יִשְׂבָּֽעוּ׃ and be filled yiś·bā·‘ū וּֽמִמֹּעֲצֹ֖תֵיהֶ֣ם with their own devices . ū·mim·mō·‘ă·ṣō·ṯê·hem Proverbs 1:32 כִּ֤י For kî מְשׁוּבַ֣ת the waywardness mə·šū·ḇaṯ פְּתָיִ֣ם of the simple pə·ṯā·yim תַּֽהַרְגֵ֑ם {will} slay them , ta·har·ḡêm וְשַׁלְוַ֖ת and the complacency wə·šal·waṯ כְּסִילִ֣ים of fools kə·sî·lîm תְּאַבְּדֵֽם׃ {will} destroy them . tə·’ab·bə·ḏêm Proverbs 1:33 וְשֹׁמֵ֣עַֽ But whoever listens wə·šō·mê·a‘ לִ֭י to me lî יִשְׁכָּן־ {will} dwell yiš·kān- בֶּ֑טַח in safety , be·ṭaḥ וְ֝שַׁאֲנַ֗ן secure wə·ša·’ă·nan מִפַּ֥חַד from the fear mip·pa·ḥaḏ רָעָֽה׃פ of evil . ” rā·‘āh Proverbs 2:1 בְּ֭נִי My son , bə·nî אִם־ if ’im- תִּקַּ֣ח you accept tiq·qaḥ אֲמָרָ֑י my words ’ă·mā·rāy תִּצְפֹּ֥ן and hide tiṣ·pōn וּ֝מִצְוֺתַ֗י my commandments ū·miṣ·wō·ṯay אִתָּֽךְ׃ within you , ’it·tāḵ Proverbs 2:2 לְהַקְשִׁ֣יב if you incline lə·haq·šîḇ אָזְנֶ֑ךָ your ear ’ā·zə·ne·ḵā לַֽחָכְמָ֣ה to wisdom la·ḥā·ḵə·māh תַּטֶּ֥ה and direct taṭ·ṭeh לִ֝בְּךָ֗ your heart lib·bə·ḵā לַתְּבוּנָֽה׃ to understanding , lat·tə·ḇū·nāh Proverbs 2:3 אִ֣ם if you ’im כִּ֤י truly kî תִקְרָ֑א call out ṯiq·rā לַבִּינָ֣ה to insight lab·bî·nāh תִּתֵּ֥ן and lift tit·tên
