רָ֑ע evil rā‘ יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ and rejoice yā·ḡî·lū בְּֽתַהְפֻּכ֥וֹת in the twistedness bə·ṯah·pu·ḵō·wṯ רָֽע׃ of evil , rā‘ Proverbs 2:15 אֲשֶׁ֣ר whose ’ă·šer אָרְחֹתֵיהֶ֣ם paths ’ā·rə·ḥō·ṯê·hem עִקְּשִׁ֑ים are crooked ‘iq·qə·šîm בְּמַעְגְּלוֹתָֽם׃ and whose ways bə·ma‘·gə·lō·w·ṯām וּ֝נְלוֹזִ֗ים are devious . ū·nə·lō·w·zîm Proverbs 2:16 לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ It will rescue you lə·haṣ·ṣî·lə·ḵā זָרָ֑ה from the forbidden zā·rāh מֵאִשָּׁ֣ה woman , mê·’iš·šāh מִ֝נָּכְרִיָּ֗ה from the stranger min·nā·ḵə·rî·yāh הֶחֱלִֽיקָה׃ with seductive he·ḥĕ·lî·qāh אֲמָרֶ֥יהָ words ’ă·mā·re·hā Proverbs 2:17 הַ֭עֹזֶבֶת who abandons ha·‘ō·ze·ḇeṯ אַלּ֣וּף the partner ’al·lūp̄ נְעוּרֶ֑יהָ of her youth nə·‘ū·re·hā וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שָׁכֵֽחָה׃ and forgets šā·ḵê·ḥāh בְּרִ֖ית the covenant bə·rîṯ אֱלֹהֶ֣יהָ of her God . ’ĕ·lō·he·hā Proverbs 2:18 כִּ֤י For kî בֵּיתָ֑הּ her house bê·ṯāh שָׁ֣חָה sinks down šā·ḥāh אֶל־ to ’el- מָ֣וֶת death , mā·weṯ מַעְגְּלֹתֶֽיהָ׃ and her tracks ma‘·gə·lō·ṯe·hā וְאֶל־ to wə·’el- רְ֝פָאִ֗ים the departed spirits . rə·p̄ā·’îm Proverbs 2:19 כָּל־ None kāl- בָּ֭אֶיהָ who go to her bā·’e·hā לֹ֣א . . . lō יְשׁוּב֑וּן return yə·šū·ḇūn וְלֹֽא־ [or] wə·lō- יַ֝שִּׂ֗יגוּ negotiate yaś·śî·ḡū אָרְח֥וֹת the paths ’ā·rə·ḥō·wṯ חַיִּֽים׃ of life . ḥay·yîm Proverbs 2:20 לְמַ֗עַן So lə·ma·‘an תֵּ֭לֵךְ you will follow tê·lêḵ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ in the ways bə·ḏe·reḵ טוֹבִ֑ים of the good , ṭō·w·ḇîm תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃ and keep to tiš·mōr וְאָרְח֖וֹת the paths wə·’ā·rə·ḥō·wṯ צַדִּיקִ֣ים of the righteous . ṣad·dî·qîm Proverbs 2:21 כִּֽי־ For kî- יְשָׁרִ֥ים the upright yə·šā·rîm יִשְׁכְּנוּ will inhabit yiš·kə·nū אָ֑רֶץ the land , ’ā·reṣ וּ֝תְמִימִ֗ים and the blameless ū·ṯə·mî·mîm יִוָּ֥תְרוּ will remain yiw·wā·ṯə·rū בָֽהּ׃ in it ; ḇāh Proverbs 2:22 וּ֭רְשָׁעִים but the wicked ū·rə·šā·‘îm יִכָּרֵ֑תוּ will be cut off yik·kā·rê·ṯū מִמֶּֽנָּה׃פ from mim·men·nāh מֵאֶ֣רֶץ the land , mê·’e·reṣ וּ֝בוֹגְדִ֗ים and the unfaithful ū·ḇō·wḡ·ḏîm יִסְּח֥וּ {will} be uprooted . yis·sə·ḥū Proverbs 3:1 בְּ֭נִי My son , bə·nî אַל־ do not ’al- תִּשְׁכָּ֑ח forget tiš·kāḥ תּוֹרָתִ֣י my teaching , tō·w·rā·ṯî לִבֶּֽךָ׃ but let your heart lib·be·ḵā יִצֹּ֥ר keep yiṣ·ṣōr וּ֝מִצְוֺתַ֗י my commandments ; ū·miṣ·wō·ṯay Proverbs 3:2 כִּ֤י for kî יוֹסִ֥יפוּ they will add yō·w·sî·p̄ū אֹ֣רֶךְ length ’ō·reḵ יָ֭מִים to your days , yā·mîm וּשְׁנ֣וֹת years ū·šə·nō·wṯ
