Proverbs 3:12 כִּ֤י for kî אֶ֥ת - ’eṯ יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh יוֹכִ֑יחַ disciplines yō·w·ḵî·aḥ אֲשֶׁ֣ר the one ’ă·šer יֶאֱהַ֣ב He loves , ye·’ĕ·haḇ וּ֝כְאָ֗ב as [does] a father ū·ḵə·’āḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֥ן the son bên יִרְצֶֽה׃ [in whom] he delights . yir·ṣeh Proverbs 3:13 אַשְׁרֵ֣י Blessed ’aš·rê אָ֭דָם [is] the man ’ā·ḏām מָצָ֣א who finds mā·ṣā חָכְמָ֑ה wisdom , ḥāḵ·māh וְ֝אָדָ֗ם the man wə·’ā·ḏām יָפִ֥יק who acquires yā·p̄îq תְּבוּנָֽה׃ understanding , tə·ḇū·nāh Proverbs 3:14 כִּ֤י for kî ט֣וֹב she is more ṭō·wḇ סַ֭חְרָהּ profitable saḥ·rāh מִסְּחַר־ . . . mis·sə·ḥar- כָּ֑סֶף than silver , kā·sep̄ תְּבוּאָתָֽהּ׃ and her gain [is better] tə·ḇū·’ā·ṯāh וּ֝מֵחָר֗וּץ than fine gold . ū·mê·ḥā·rūṣ Proverbs 3:15 הִ֭יא She hî יְקָ֣רָה is more precious yə·qā·rāh מִפְּנִיִּים than rubies ; mip·pə·nī·yīm וְכָל־ nothing wə·ḵāl לֹ֣א . . . lō חֲ֝פָצֶ֗יךָ you desire ḥă·p̄ā·ṣe·ḵā יִֽשְׁווּ־ compares yiš·wū- בָֽהּ׃ with her . ḇāh Proverbs 3:16 אֹ֣רֶךְ Long ’ō·reḵ יָ֭מִים life yā·mîm בִּֽימִינָ֑הּ is in her right hand ; bî·mî·nāh בִּ֝שְׂמֹאולָ֗הּ in her left hand biś·mō·w·lāh עֹ֣שֶׁר [are] riches ‘ō·šer וְכָבֽוֹד׃ and honor . wə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ Proverbs 3:17 דְּרָכֶ֥יהָ All her ways də·rā·ḵe·hā דַרְכֵי־ . . . ḏar·ḵê- נֹ֑עַם are pleasant , nō·‘am וְֽכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl נְתִ֖יבוֹתֶ֣יהָ her paths nə·ṯî·ḇō·w·ṯe·hā שָׁלֽוֹם׃ [are] peaceful . šā·lō·wm Proverbs 3:18 הִ֭יא She hî עֵץ־ is a tree ‘êṣ- חַיִּ֣ים of life ḥay·yîm לַמַּחֲזִיקִ֣ים to those who embrace lam·ma·ḥă·zî·qîm בָּ֑הּ her , bāh וְֽתֹמְכֶ֥יהָ and those who lay hold of her wə·ṯō·mə·ḵe·hā מְאֻשָּֽׁר׃פ are blessed . mə·’uš·šār Proverbs 3:19 יְֽהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh יָֽסַד־ founded yā·saḏ- אָ֑רֶץ the earth ’ā·reṣ בְּחָכְמָ֥ה by wisdom bə·ḥā·ḵə·māh כּוֹנֵ֥ן and established kō·w·nên שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם the heavens ma·yim בִּתְבוּנָֽה׃ by understanding . biṯ·ḇū·nāh Proverbs 3:20 בְּ֭דַעְתּוֹ By His knowledge bə·ḏa‘·tōw תְּהוֹמ֣וֹת the watery depths tə·hō·w·mō·wṯ נִבְקָ֑עוּ were broken open , niḇ·qā·‘ū וּ֝שְׁחָקִ֗ים and the clouds ū·šə·ḥā·qîm יִרְעֲפוּ־ dripped yir·‘ă·p̄ū- טָֽל׃ with dew . ṭāl Proverbs 3:21 בְּ֭נִי My son , bə·nî אַל־ do not ’al- יָלֻ֣זוּ lose yā·lu·zū מֵעֵינֶ֑יךָ sight of this : mê·‘ê·ne·ḵā נְצֹ֥ר Preserve nə·ṣōr תֻּ֝שִׁיָּ֗ה sound judgment tu·šî·yāh וּמְזִמָּֽה׃ and discernment . ū·mə·zim·māh
