יְ֭הוָה O YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֥י when kî שָׁ֝מְע֗וּ they hear mə·‘ū אִמְרֵי־ the words ’im·rê- פִֽיךָ׃ of Your mouth . p̄î·ḵā Psalm 138:5 וְ֭יָשִׁירוּ They will sing wə·yā·šî·rū בְּדַרְכֵ֣י of the ways bə·ḏar·ḵê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֥י for kî כְּב֣וֹד the glory kə·ḇō·wḏ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh גָ֝ד֗וֹל is great . ḡā·ḏō·wl Psalm 138:6 כִּי־ Though kî- יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh רָ֣ם is on high , rām יִרְאֶ֑ה He attends yir·’eh וְשָׁפָ֣ל to the lowly ; wə·šā·p̄āl וְ֝גָבֹ֗הַּ but the proud wə·ḡā·ḇō·ah יְיֵדָֽע׃ He knows yə·yê·ḏā‘ מִמֶּרְחָ֥ק from afar . mim·mer·ḥāq Psalm 138:7 אִם־ If ’im- אֵלֵ֤ךְ׀ I walk ’ê·lêḵ בְּקֶ֥רֶב in the midst bə·qe·reḇ צָרָ֗ה of trouble , ṣā·rāh תְּחַ֫יֵּ֥נִי You preserve me tə·ḥay·yê·nî עַ֤ל from ‘al אַ֣ף the anger ’ap̄ אֹ֭יְבַי of my foes ; ’ō·yə·ḇay תִּשְׁלַ֣ח You extend tiš·laḥ יָדֶ֑ךָ Your hand , yā·ḏe·ḵā יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ and Your right hand yə·mî·ne·ḵā וְת֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי saves me . wə·ṯō·wō·šî·‘ê·nî Psalm 138:8 יְהוָה֮ YHWH Yah·weh יִגְמֹ֪ר will fulfill yiḡ·mōr בַּ֫עֲדִ֥י [His purpose] for me . ba·‘ă·ḏî יְ֭הוָה O YHWH , Yah·weh חַסְדְּךָ֣ Your loving devotion ḥas·də·ḵā לְעוֹלָ֑ם endures forever — lə·‘ō·w·lām אַל־ do not ’al- תֶּֽרֶף׃ abandon te·rep̄ מַעֲשֵׂ֖י the works ma·‘ă·śê יָדֶ֣יךָ of Your hands . yā·ḏe·ḵā Psalm 139:1 לַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ For the choirmaster . lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ מִזְמ֑וֹר A Psalm miz·mō·wr לְדָוִ֣ד of David . lə·ḏā·wiḏ יְהוָ֥ה O YHWH , Yah·weh חֲ֝קַרְתַּ֗נִי You have searched me ḥă·qar·ta·nî וַתֵּדָֽע׃ and known me . wat·tê·ḏā‘ Psalm 139:2 אַתָּ֣ה You ’at·tāh יָ֭דַעְתָּ know yā·ḏa‘·tā שִׁבְתִּ֣י when I sit šiḇ·tî וְקוּמִ֑י and when I rise ; wə·qū·mî בַּ֥נְתָּה You understand ban·tāh לְ֝רֵעִ֗י my thoughts lə·rê·‘î מֵרָחֽוֹק׃ from afar . mê·rā·ḥō·wq Psalm 139:3 זֵרִ֑יתָ You search out zê·rî·ṯā אָרְחִ֣י my path ’ā·rə·ḥî וְרִבְעִ֣י and my lying down ; wə·riḇ·‘î הִסְכַּֽנְתָּה׃ You are aware his·kan·tāh וְֽכָל־ of all wə·ḵāl דְּרָכַ֥י my ways . də·rā·ḵay Psalm 139:4 כִּ֤י Even kî אֵ֣ין . . . ’ên מִ֭לָּה before a word mil·lāh בִּלְשׁוֹנִ֑י is on my tongue , bil·šō·w·nî הֵ֥ן . . . hên יָדַ֥עְתָּ You know yā·ḏa‘·tā כֻלָּֽהּ׃ all about it , ḵul·lāh יְ֝הוָ֗ה O YHWH .
