כַּפֶּֽכָה׃ Your hand kap·pe·ḵāh עָלַ֣י upon me . ‘ā·lay Psalm 139:6 דַ֣עַת [Such] knowledge ḏa·‘aṯ פִּלְאִיָּה [is] too wonderful pil·ʾī·yå̄h מִמֶּ֑נִּי for me , mim·men·nî נִ֝שְׂגְּבָ֗ה too lofty niś·gə·ḇāh לֹא־ lō- א֥וּכַֽל for me to attain ’ū·ḵal לָֽהּ׃ . lāh Psalm 139:7 אָ֭נָ֥ה Where ’ā·nāh אֵלֵ֣ךְ can I go ’ê·lêḵ מֵרוּחֶ֑ךָ to escape Your Spirit ? mê·rū·ḥe·ḵā וְ֝אָ֗נָה Where wə·’ā·nāh אֶבְרָֽח׃ can I flee ’eḇ·rāḥ מִפָּנֶ֥יךָ from Your presence ? mip·pā·ne·ḵā Psalm 139:8 אִם־ If ’im- אֶסַּ֣ק I ascend ’es·saq שָׁ֭מַיִם to the heavens , ma·yim אָ֑תָּה You ’āt·tāh שָׁ֣ם are there ; šām וְאַצִּ֖יעָה if I make my bed wə·’aṣ·ṣî·‘āh שְּׁא֣וֹל in Sheol , šə·’ō·wl הִנֶּֽךָּ׃ You are there . hin·ne·kā Psalm 139:9 אֶשָּׂ֥א If I rise on ’eś·śā כַנְפֵי־ the wings ḵan·p̄ê- שָׁ֑חַר of the dawn , šā·ḥar אֶ֝שְׁכְּנָ֗ה if I settle ’eš·kə·nāh בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית by the farthest bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ יָֽם׃ sea , yām Psalm 139:10 גַּם־ even ga·mō·šā- שָׁ֭ם there m יָדְךָ֣ Your hand yā·ḏə·ḵā תַנְחֵ֑נִי will guide me ; ṯan·ḥê·nî יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ Your right hand yə·mî·ne·ḵā וְֽתֹאחֲזֵ֥נִי will hold me fast . wə·ṯō·ḥă·zê·nî Psalm 139:11 וָ֭אֹמַר If I say , wā·’ō·mar אַךְ־ “ Surely ’aḵ- חֹ֣שֶׁךְ the darkness ḥō·šeḵ יְשׁוּפֵ֑נִי will hide me , yə·šū·p̄ê·nî א֣וֹר and the light ’ō·wr וְ֝לַ֗יְלָה become night wə·lay·lāh בַּעֲדֵֽנִי׃ around me ”— ba·‘ă·ḏê·nî Psalm 139:12 גַּם־ even gam- חֹשֶׁךְ֮ the darkness ḥō·šeḵ לֹֽא־ is not lō- יַחְשִׁ֪יךְ dark yaḥ·šîḵ מִ֫מֶּ֥ךָ to You , mim·me·ḵā וְ֭לַיְלָה but the night wə·lay·lāh יָאִ֑יר shines yā·’îr כַּיּ֣וֹם like the day , kay·yō·wm כַּ֝חֲשֵׁיכָ֗ה for darkness ka·ḥă·šê·ḵāh כָּאוֹרָֽה׃ is as light to You . kā·’ō·w·rāh Psalm 139:13 כִּֽי־ For kî- אַ֭תָּה You ’at·tāh קָנִ֣יתָ formed qā·nî·ṯā כִלְיֹתָ֑י my inmost being ; ḵil·yō·ṯāy תְּ֝סֻכֵּ֗נִי You knit me together tə·suk·kê·nî אִמִּֽי׃ in my mother’s ’im·mî בְּבֶ֣טֶן womb . bə·ḇe·ṭen Psalm 139:14 אֽוֹדְךָ֗ I praise ’ō·wḏ·ḵā עַ֤ל You , ‘al כִּ֥י for kî נוֹרָא֗וֹת I am fearfully nō·w·rā·’ō·wṯ נִ֫פְלֵ֥יתִי and wonderfully made . nip̄·lê·ṯî נִפְלָאִ֥ים Marvelous nip̄·lā·’îm מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ [are] Your works , ma·‘ă·śe·ḵā וְ֝נַפְשִׁ֗י and I wə·nap̄·šî יֹדַ֥עַת know this yō·ḏa·‘aṯ מְאֹֽד׃ very well . mə·’ōḏ Psalm 139:15 עָצְמִ֗י My frame ‘ā·ṣə·mî
