לְכָל־ all lə·ḵāl עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם who follow [His precepts] ‘ō·śê·hem ט֭וֹב [gain] rich ṭō·wḇ שֵׂ֣כֶל understanding . śê·ḵel תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ His praise tə·hil·lā·ṯōw עֹמֶ֥דֶת endures ‘ō·me·ḏeṯ לָעַֽד׃ forever ! lā·‘aḏ Psalm 112:1 הַ֥לְלוּ Hallelujah hal·lū יָ֨הּ׀ . . . ! yāh אַשְׁרֵי־ Blessed ’aš·rê- אִ֭ישׁ is the man ’îš יָרֵ֣א who fears yā·rê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh מְאֹֽד׃ who greatly mə·’ōḏ חָפֵ֥ץ delights ḥā·p̄êṣ בְּ֝מִצְוֺתָ֗יו in His commandments . bə·miṣ·wō·ṯāw Psalm 112:2 זַרְע֑וֹ His descendants zar·‘ōw יִהְיֶ֣ה will be yih·yeh גִּבּ֣וֹר mighty gib·bō·wr בָּ֭אָרֶץ in the land ; bā·’ā·reṣ דּ֭וֹר the generation dō·wr יְשָׁרִ֣ים of the upright yə·šā·rîm יְבֹרָֽךְ׃ will be blessed . yə·ḇō·rāḵ Psalm 112:3 הוֹן־ Wealth hō·wn- וָעֹ֥שֶׁר and riches wā·‘ō·šer בְּבֵית֑וֹ are in his house , bə·ḇê·ṯōw וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ and his righteousness wə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯōw עֹמֶ֥דֶת endures ‘ō·me·ḏeṯ לָעַֽד׃ forever . lā·‘aḏ Psalm 112:4 א֭וֹר Light ’ō·wr זָ֘רַ֤ח dawns zā·raḥ בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ in the darkness ba·ḥō·šeḵ לַיְשָׁרִ֑ים for the upright — lay·šā·rîm חַנּ֖וּן for the gracious , ḥan·nūn וְרַח֣וּם compassionate , wə·ra·ḥūm וְצַדִּֽיק׃ and righteous . wə·ṣad·dîq Psalm 112:5 טֽוֹב־ It is well ṭō·wḇ- אִ֭ישׁ with the man ’îš חוֹנֵ֣ן who is generous ḥō·w·nên וּמַלְוֶ֑ה and lends freely , ū·mal·weh דְּבָרָ֣יו whose affairs də·ḇā·rāw יְכַלְכֵּ֖ל are guided yə·ḵal·kêl בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃ by justice . bə·miš·pāṭ Psalm 112:6 כִּֽי־ Surely kî- לְעוֹלָ֥ם he will never lə·‘ō·w·lām לֹא־ . . . lō- יִמּ֑וֹט be shaken ; yim·mō·wṭ צַדִּֽיק׃ the righteous man ṣad·dîq יִהְיֶ֥ה will be yih·yeh לְזֵ֥כֶר remembered lə·zê·ḵer ע֝וֹלָ֗ם forever . ‘ō·w·lām Psalm 112:7 לֹ֣א He does not lō יִירָ֑א fear yî·rā רָ֭עָה bad rā·‘āh מִשְּׁמוּעָ֣ה news ; miš·šə·mū·‘āh לִ֝בּ֗וֹ his heart lib·bōw נָכ֥וֹן is steadfast , nā·ḵō·wn בָּטֻ֥חַ trusting bā·ṭu·aḥ בַּיהוָֽה׃ in YHWH . Yah·weh Psalm 112:8 לִ֭בּוֹ His heart lib·bōw סָמ֣וּךְ is assured ; sā·mūḵ לֹ֣א he does not lō יִירָ֑א fear , yî·rā עַ֖ד until ‘aḏ אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- יִרְאֶ֣ה he looks in triumph yir·’eh בְצָרָֽיו׃ on his foes . ḇə·ṣā·rāw Psalm 112:9 פִּזַּ֤ר׀ He has scattered abroad piz·zar נָ֘תַ֤ן his gifts nā·ṯan לָאֶבְיוֹנִ֗ים to the poor ; lā·’eḇ·yō·w·nîm צִ֭דְקָתוֹ his righteousness ṣiḏ·qā·ṯōw עֹמֶ֣דֶת endures ‘ō·me·ḏeṯ
