Psalm 105:38 מִצְרַ֣יִם Egypt miṣ·ra·yim שָׂמַ֣ח was glad śā·maḥ בְּצֵאתָ֑ם when they departed , bə·ṣê·ṯām כִּֽי־ for kî- פַּחְדָּ֣ם the dread paḥ·dām נָפַ֖ל of Israel had fallen nā·p̄al עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ on them . ‘ă·lê·hem Psalm 105:39 פָּרַ֣שׂ He spread pā·raś עָנָ֣ן a cloud ‘ā·nān לְמָסָ֑ךְ as a covering lə·mā·sāḵ וְ֝אֵ֗שׁ and a fire wə·’êš לְהָאִ֥יר to light up lə·hā·’îr לָֽיְלָה׃ the night . lā·yə·lāh Psalm 105:40 שָׁאַ֣ל They asked , šā·’al וַיָּבֵ֣א and He brought way·yā·ḇê שְׂלָ֑ו quail śə·lāw יַשְׂבִּיעֵֽם׃ and satisfied them yaś·bî·‘êm וְלֶ֥חֶם with the bread wə·le·ḥem שָׁ֝מַ֗יִם of heaven . ma·yim Psalm 105:41 פָּ֣תַח He opened pā·ṯaḥ צ֭וּר a rock , ṣūr מָ֑יִם and water mā·yim וַיָּז֣וּבוּ gushed out ; way·yā·zū·ḇū הָ֝לְכ֗וּ it flowed hā·lə·ḵū נָהָֽר׃ [like] a river nā·hār בַּצִּיּ֥וֹת in the desert . baṣ·ṣî·yō·wṯ Psalm 105:42 כִּֽי־ For kî- זָ֭כַר He remembered zā·ḵar אֶת־ - ’eṯ- קָדְשׁ֑וֹ His holy qā·ḏə·šōw אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- דְּבַ֣ר promise də·ḇar אַבְרָהָ֥ם to Abraham ’aḇ·rā·hām עַבְדּֽוֹ׃ His servant . ‘aḇ·dōw Psalm 105:43 עַמּ֣וֹ He brought forth His people ‘am·mōw וַיּוֹצִ֣א . . . way·yō·w·ṣi בְשָׂשׂ֑וֹן with rejoicing , ḇə·śā·śō·wn בְּחִירָֽיו׃ His chosen bə·ḥî·rāw בְּ֝רִנָּ֗ה with shouts of joy . bə·rin·nāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- Psalm 105:44 וַיִּתֵּ֣ן He gave them way·yit·tên לָ֭הֶם . . . lā·hem אַרְצ֣וֹת the lands ’ar·ṣō·wṯ גּוֹיִ֑ם of the nations , gō·w·yim יִירָֽשׁוּ׃ that they might inherit yî·rā·šū וַעֲמַ֖ל the fruit of others’ labor wa·‘ă·mal לְאֻמִּ֣ים . . . , lə·’um·mîm Psalm 105:45 בַּעֲב֤וּר׀ that ba·‘ă·ḇūr יִשְׁמְר֣וּ they might keep yiš·mə·rū חֻ֭קָּיו His statutes ḥuq·qāw יִנְצֹ֗רוּ and obey yin·ṣō·rū וְתוֹרֹתָ֥יו His laws . wə·ṯō·w·rō·ṯāw הַֽלְלוּ־ Hallelujah hal·lū- יָֽהּ׃ . . . ! yāh Psalm 106:1 הַֽלְלוּיָ֨הּ׀ Hallelujah ! hal·lū·yāh הוֹד֣וּ Give thanks hō·w·ḏū לַיהוָ֣ה to YHWH , Yah·weh כִּי־ for kî- ט֑וֹב He is good ; ṭō·wḇ כִּ֖י . . . kî חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ His loving devotion endures forever ḥas·dōw לְעוֹלָ֣ם . . . . lə·‘ō·w·lām Psalm 106:2 מִ֗י Who mî יְ֭מַלֵּל can describe yə·mal·lêl גְּבוּר֣וֹת the mighty acts gə·ḇū·rō·wṯ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh יַ֝שְׁמִ֗יעַ or fully proclaim yaš·mî·a‘ כָּל־ . . . kāl- תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃ His praise ? tə·hil·lā·ṯōw
