אָדָֽם׃ men ! ’ā·ḏām Psalm 89:48 מִ֤י What mî גֶ֣בֶר man ḡe·ḇer יִֽ֭חְיֶה can live yiḥ·yeh וְלֹ֣א and never wə·lō יִרְאֶה־ see yir·’eh- מָּ֑וֶת death ? mā·weṯ יְמַלֵּ֨ט Can he deliver yə·mal·lêṭ נַפְשׁ֖וֹ his soul nap̄·šōw מִיַּד־ from the power mî·yaḏ- שְׁא֣וֹל of Sheol ? šə·’ō·wl סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 89:49 אַיֵּ֤ה׀ Where , ’ay·yêh אֲדֹנָ֑י O Lord , ’ă·ḏō·nāy חֲסָדֶ֖יךָ [is] Your loving devotion ḥă·sā·ḏe·ḵā הָרִאשֹׁנִ֥ים׀ of old , hā·ri·šō·nîm בֶּאֱמוּנָתֶֽךָ׃ which You faithfully be·’ĕ·mū·nā·ṯe·ḵā נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתָּ swore niš·ba‘·tā לְ֝דָוִ֗ד to David ? lə·ḏā·wiḏ Psalm 89:50 זְכֹ֣ר Remember , zə·ḵōr אֲ֭דֹנָי O Lord , ’ă·ḏō·nāy חֶרְפַּ֣ת the reproach ḥer·paṯ עֲבָדֶ֑יךָ of Your servants , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā שְׂאֵתִ֥י which I bear śə·’ê·ṯî בְ֝חֵיקִ֗י in my heart ḇə·ḥê·qî כָּל־ from so kāl- רַבִּ֥ים many rab·bîm עַמִּֽים׃ people — ‘am·mîm Psalm 89:51 אֲשֶׁ֤ר how ’ă·šer אוֹיְבֶ֥יךָ׀ Your enemies ’ō·wy·ḇe·ḵā חֵרְפ֖וּ have taunted , ḥê·rə·p̄ū יְהוָ֑ה O YHWH , Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֥ר [and] ’ă·šer חֵ֝רְפ֗וּ have mocked ḥê·rə·p̄ū עִקְּב֥וֹת every step ‘iq·qə·ḇō·wṯ מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃ of Your anointed one ! mə·šî·ḥe·ḵā Psalm 89:52 בָּר֖וּךְ Blessed be bā·rūḵ יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh לְ֝עוֹלָ֗ם forever ! lə·‘ō·w·lām אָ֘מֵ֥ן׀ Amen ’ā·mên וְאָמֵֽן׃ and amen . wə·’ā·mên Psalm 90:1 תְּפִלָּה֮ A prayer tə·p̄il·lāh לְמֹשֶׁ֪ה of Moses lə·mō·šeh אִֽישׁ־ the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲ Lord , ’ăḏō·nāy אַ֭תָּה You ’at·tāh הָיִ֥יתָ have been hā·yî·ṯā לָּ֗נוּ our lā·nū מָע֣וֹן dwelling place mā·‘ō·wn בְּדֹ֣ר through all bə·ḏōr וָדֹֽר׃ generations . wā·ḏōr Psalm 90:2 בְּטֶ֤רֶם׀ Before bə·ṭe·rem הָ֘רִ֤ים the mountains hā·rîm יֻלָּ֗דוּ were born yul·lā·ḏū וַתְּח֣וֹלֵֽל or You brought forth wat·tə·ḥō·w·lêl אֶ֣רֶץ the earth ’e·reṣ וְתֵבֵ֑ל and the world , wə·ṯê·ḇêl וּֽמֵעוֹלָ֥ם from everlasting ū·mê·‘ō·w·lām עַד־ to ‘aḏ- ע֝וֹלָ֗ם everlasting ‘ō·w·lām אַתָּ֥ה You ’at·tāh אֵֽל׃ are God . ’êl Psalm 90:3 תָּשֵׁ֣ב You return tā·šêḇ אֱ֭נוֹשׁ man ’ĕ·nō·wōš עַד־ to ‘aḏ- דַּכָּ֑א dust , dak·kā וַ֝תֹּ֗אמֶר saying , wat·tō·mer שׁ֣וּבוּ “ Return , šū·ḇū בְנֵי־ O sons ḇə·nê- אָדָֽם׃ of mortals . ” ’ā·ḏām Psalm 90:4 כִּ֤י For kî בְּֽעֵינֶ֗יךָ in Your sight bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā
