Psalm 89:27 אָ֭נִי I ’ā·nî אַף־ will indeed ’ap̄- אֶתְּנֵ֑הוּ appoint him as ’et·tə·nê·hū בְּכ֣וֹר My firstborn , bə·ḵō·wr עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן the highest ‘el·yō·wn לְמַלְכֵי־ of the kings lə·mal·ḵê- אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth . ’ā·reṣ Psalm 89:28 לְ֭עוֹלָ֗ם I will forever lə·‘ō·w·lām אֶשְׁמוֹר preserve ʾɛš·mōr ל֣וֹ . . . lōw חַסְדִּ֑י My loving devotion for him , ḥas·dî וּ֝בְרִיתִ֗י and My covenant ū·ḇə·rî·ṯî לֽוֹ׃ with him lōw נֶאֱמֶ֥נֶת will stand fast . ne·’ĕ·me·neṯ Psalm 89:29 וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י I will establish wə·śam·tî זַרְע֑וֹ his line forever zar·‘ōw לָעַ֣ד . . . , lā·‘aḏ וְ֝כִסְא֗וֹ his throne wə·ḵis·’ōw כִּימֵ֥י as long as kî·mê שָׁמָֽיִם׃ the heavens endure . šā·mā·yim Psalm 89:30 אִם־ If ’im- בָ֭נָיו his sons ḇā·nāw יַֽעַזְב֣וּ forsake ya·‘az·ḇū תּוֹרָתִ֑י My law tō·w·rā·ṯî לֹ֣א and do not lō יֵלֵכֽוּן׃ walk yê·lê·ḵūn וּ֝בְמִשְׁפָּטַ֗י in My judgments , ū·ḇə·miš·pā·ṭay Psalm 89:31 אִם־ if ’im- יְחַלֵּ֑לוּ they violate yə·ḥal·lê·lū חֻקֹּתַ֥י My statutes ḥuq·qō·ṯay לֹ֣א and fail lō יִשְׁמֹֽרוּ׃ to keep yiš·mō·rū וּ֝מִצְוֺתַ֗י My commandments , ū·miṣ·wō·ṯay Psalm 89:32 וּפָקַדְתִּ֣י I will attend to ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî פִּשְׁעָ֑ם their transgression piš·‘ām בְשֵׁ֣בֶט with the rod , ḇə·šê·ḇeṭ עֲוֺנָֽם׃ and to their iniquity ‘ă·wō·nām וּבִנְגָעִ֥ים with stripes . ū·ḇin·ḡā·‘îm Psalm 89:33 לֹֽא־ But I will not lō- אָפִ֣יר withdraw ’ā·p̄îr וְ֭חַסְדִּי My loving devotion wə·ḥas·dî מֵֽעִמּ֑וֹ from him , mê·‘im·mōw וְלֹֽא־ nor ever wə·lō- אֲ֝שַׁקֵּ֗ר betray ’ă·šaq·qêr בֶּאֱמוּנָתִֽי׃ My faithfulness . be·’ĕ·mū·nā·ṯî Psalm 89:34 לֹא־ I will not lō- אֲחַלֵּ֥ל violate ’ă·ḥal·lêl בְּרִיתִ֑י My covenant bə·rî·ṯî לֹ֣א or lō אֲשַׁנֶּֽה׃ alter ’ă·šan·neh וּמוֹצָ֥א the utterance ū·mō·w·ṣā שְׂ֝פָתַ֗י of My lips . p̄ā·ṯay Psalm 89:35 אַ֭חַת Once and for all ’a·ḥaṯ נִשְׁבַּ֣עְתִּי I have sworn niš·ba‘·tî בְקָדְשִׁ֑י by My holiness — ḇə·qā·ḏə·šî אִֽם־ I will not ’im- אֲכַזֵּֽב׃ lie ’ă·ḵaz·zêḇ לְדָוִ֥ד to David — lə·ḏā·wiḏ Psalm 89:36 זַ֭רְעוֹ his offspring zar·‘ōw יִהְיֶ֑ה shall endure yih·yeh לְעוֹלָ֣ם forever , lə·‘ō·w·lām וְכִסְא֖וֹ and his throne wə·ḵis·’ōw נֶגְדִּֽי׃ before Me neḡ·dî כַשֶּׁ֣מֶשׁ like the sun , ḵaš·še·meš Psalm 89:37 כְּ֭יָרֵחַ like the moon , kə·yā·rê·aḥ יִכּ֣וֹן established yik·kō·wn עוֹלָ֑ם forever , ‘ō·w·lām נֶאֱמָ֥ן a faithful ne·’ĕ·mān וְעֵ֥ד witness wə·‘êḏ בַּ֝שַּׁ֗חַק in the sky . ” baš·ša·ḥaq
