סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 89:38 וְאַתָּ֣ה Now, however, You wə·’at·tāh זָ֭נַחְתָּ have spurned zā·naḥ·tā וַתִּמְאָ֑ס and rejected him ; wat·tim·’ās הִ֝תְעַבַּ֗רְתָּ You are enraged hiṯ·‘ab·bar·tā עִם־ by ‘im- מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃ Your anointed one . mə·šî·ḥe·ḵā Psalm 89:39 נֵ֭אַרְתָּה You have renounced nê·’ar·tāh בְּרִ֣ית the covenant bə·rîṯ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ with Your servant ‘aḇ·de·ḵā חִלַּ֖לְתָּ and sullied ḥil·lal·tā נִזְרֽוֹ׃ his crown niz·rōw לָאָ֣רֶץ in the dust . lā·’ā·reṣ Psalm 89:40 פָּרַ֥צְתָּ You have broken down pā·raṣ·tā כָל־ all ḵāl גְּדֵרֹתָ֑יו his walls ; gə·ḏê·rō·ṯāw שַׂ֖מְתָּ You have reduced śam·tā מִבְצָרָ֣יו his strongholds miḇ·ṣā·rāw מְחִתָּה׃ to rubble . mə·ḥit·tå̄h Psalm 89:41 כָּל־ All kāl- עֹ֣בְרֵי who pass by ‘ō·ḇə·rê דָ֑רֶךְ . . . ḏā·reḵ שַׁ֭סֻּהוּ plunder him ; su·hū הָיָ֥ה he has become hā·yāh חֶ֝רְפָּ֗ה a reproach ḥer·pāh לִשְׁכֵנָֽיו׃ to his neighbors . liš·ḵê·nāw Psalm 89:42 הֲ֭רִימוֹתָ You have exalted hă·rî·mō·w·ṯā יְמִ֣ין the right hand yə·mîn צָרָ֑יו of his foes ; ṣā·rāw כָּל־ You have made all kāl- אוֹיְבָֽיו׃ his enemies ’ō·wy·ḇāw הִ֝שְׂמַ֗חְתָּ rejoice . hiś·maḥ·tā Psalm 89:43 אַף־ You have ’ap̄- תָּ֭שִׁיב bent tā·šîḇ צ֣וּר the edge ṣūr חַרְבּ֑וֹ of his sword ḥar·bōw וְלֹ֥א and have not wə·lō הֲ֝קֵימֹת֗וֹ sustained him hă·qê·mō·ṯōw בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ in battle . bam·mil·ḥā·māh Psalm 89:44 הִשְׁבַּ֥תָּ You have ended hiš·ba·tā מִטְּהָר֑וֹ his splendor miṭ·ṭə·hā·rōw מִגַּֽרְתָּה׃ and cast mig·gar·tāh וְ֝כִסְא֗וֹ his throne wə·ḵis·’ōw לָאָ֥רֶץ to the ground . lā·’ā·reṣ Psalm 89:45 הִ֭קְצַרְתָּ You have cut short hiq·ṣar·tā יְמֵ֣י the days yə·mê עֲלוּמָ֑יו of his youth ; ‘ă·lū·māw הֶֽעֱטִ֨יתָ You have covered he·‘ĕ·ṭî·ṯā עָלָ֖יו him ‘ā·lāw בּוּשָׁ֣ה with shame . bū·šāh סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 89:46 עַד־ How long ‘aḏ- מָ֣ה . . . , māh יְ֭הוָה O YHWH ?
