בִּקְשׁ֣וּ seeks biq·šū נַפְשִׁ֑י my life , nap̄·šî וְלֹ֖א with no wə·lō שָׂמ֣וּךָ regard śā·mū·ḵā לְנֶגְדָּֽם׃ for You . lə·neḡ·dām Psalm 86:15 וְאַתָּ֣ה But You , wə·’at·tāh אֲ֭דֹנָי O Lord , ’ă·ḏō·nāy רַח֣וּם are a compassionate ra·ḥūm וְחַנּ֑וּן and gracious wə·ḥan·nūn אֵל־ God , ’êl- אֶ֥רֶךְ slow ’e·reḵ אַ֝פַּ֗יִם to anger , ’ap·pa·yim וְרַב־ abounding wə·raḇ- חֶ֥סֶד in loving devotion ḥe·seḏ וֶאֱמֶֽת׃ and faithfulness . we·’ĕ·meṯ Psalm 86:16 פְּנֵ֥ה Turn pə·nêh אֵלַ֗י to me ’ê·lay וְחָ֫נֵּ֥נִי and have mercy ; wə·ḥān·nê·nî תְּנָֽה־ grant tə·nāh- עֻזְּךָ֥ Your strength ‘uz·zə·ḵā לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ to Your servant ; lə·‘aḇ·de·ḵā וְ֝הוֹשִׁ֗יעָה save wə·hō·wō·šî·‘āh לְבֶן־ the son lə·ḇen- אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃ of Your maidservant . ’ă·mā·ṯe·ḵā Psalm 86:17 עֲשֵֽׂה־ Show ‘ă·śêh- עִמִּ֥י me ‘im·mî א֗וֹת a sign ’ō·wṯ לְט֫וֹבָ֥ה of Your goodness , lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh שֹׂנְאַ֣י that my enemies śō·nə·’ay וְיִרְא֣וּ may see wə·yir·’ū וְיֵבֹ֑שׁוּ and be ashamed ; wə·yê·ḇō·šū כִּֽי־ for kî- אַתָּ֥ה You , ’at·tāh יְ֝הוָ֗ה O YHWH , Yah·weh עֲזַרְתַּ֥נִי have helped me ‘ă·zar·ta·nî וְנִחַמְתָּֽנִי׃ and comforted me . wə·ni·ḥam·tā·nî Psalm 87:1 מִזְמ֣וֹר A Psalm miz·mō·wr לִבְנֵי־ of the sons liḇ·nê- קֹ֭רַח of Korah . qō·raḥ שִׁ֑יר A song . šîr יְ֝סוּדָת֗וֹ He has founded His city yə·sū·ḏā·ṯōw קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ on the holy qō·ḏeš בְּהַרְרֵי־ mountains . bə·har·rê- Psalm 87:2 יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh אֹהֵ֣ב loves ’ō·hêḇ שַׁעֲרֵ֣י the gates ša·‘ă·rê צִיּ֑וֹן of Zion ṣî·yō·wn מִ֝כֹּ֗ל more than all mik·kōl מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת the dwellings miš·kə·nō·wṯ יַעֲקֹֽב׃ of Jacob . ya·‘ă·qōḇ Psalm 87:3 נִ֭כְבָּדוֹת Glorious things niḵ·bā·ḏō·wṯ מְדֻבָּ֣ר are ascribed mə·ḏub·bār בָּ֑ךְ to you , bāḵ עִ֖יר O city ‘îr הָאֱלֹהִ֣ים of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 87:4 אַזְכִּ֤יר׀ “ I will mention ’az·kîr רַ֥הַב Rahab ra·haḇ וּבָבֶ֗ל and Babylon ū·ḇā·ḇel לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י among those who know Me — lə·yō·ḏə·‘āy הִנֵּ֤ה along with hin·nêh פְלֶ֣שֶׁת Philistia , p̄ə·le·šeṯ וְצ֣וֹר Tyre , wə·ṣō·wr עִם־ and ‘im- כּ֑וּשׁ Cush — kūš זֶ֝֗ה [when I say,] ‘This one zeh יֻלַּד־ was born yul·laḏ- שָֽׁם׃ [in Zion] . ’” šām Psalm 87:5 יֵאָמַ֗ר And it will be said yê·’ā·mar וּֽלֲצִיּ֨וֹן׀ of Zion : ū·lă·ṣî·yō·wn אִ֣ישׁ “ This one ’îš וְ֭אִישׁ and that one wə·’îš יֻלַּד־ were born yul·laḏ- בָּ֑הּ in her , bāh עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ and the Most High ‘el·yō·wn וְה֖וּא Himself wə·hū
