Psalm 78:38וְה֤וּאAnd yet Hewə·hū
רַח֨וּם׀was compassionate ;ra·ḥūm
יְכַפֵּ֥רHe forgaveyə·ḵap·pêr
עָוֺן֮[their] iniquity‘ā·wōn
וְֽלֹא־and did notwə·lō-
יַ֫שְׁחִ֥יתdestroy them .yaš·ḥîṯ
וְ֭הִרְבָּהHe oftenwə·hir·bāh
אַפּ֑וֹrestrained His anger’ap·pōw

מִנִּי־frommin·nî-
צָֽר׃ the adversary , ṣār

יְאֹרֵיהֶ֑םtheir riversyə·’ō·rê·hem
לְ֭דָם to blood , lə·ḏām
וְ֝נֹזְלֵיהֶ֗םand from their streamswə·nō·zə·lê·hem
בַּל־they could notbal-
יִשְׁתָּיֽוּן׃drink .yiš·tā·yūn
Psalm 78:45יְשַׁלַּ֬חHe sentyə·šal·laḥ
בָּהֶ֣ם-bā·hem
עָ֭רֹבswarms of flies‘ā·rōḇ
וַיֹּאכְלֵ֑ם that devoured them , way·yō·ḵə·lêm
וּ֝צְפַרְדֵּ֗עַand frogsū·ṣə·p̄ar·dê·a‘
וַתַּשְׁחִיתֵֽם׃that devastated them .wat·taš·ḥî·ṯêm
Psalm 78:46וַיִּתֵּ֣ןHe gaveway·yit·tên
יְבוּלָ֑םtheir cropsyə·ḇū·lām
לֶחָסִ֣יל to the grasshopper , le·ḥā·sîl
וִֽ֝יגִיעָ֗םthe fruit of their laborwî·ḡî·‘ām
לָאַרְבֶּֽה׃to the locust .lā·’ar·beh

גַּפְנָ֑םtheir vinesgap̄·nām
בַּבָּרָ֣דwith hailstonesbab·bā·rāḏ
וְ֝שִׁקְמוֹתָ֗םand their sycamore-figswə·šiq·mō·w·ṯām
בַּֽחֲנָמַֽל׃with sleet .ba·ḥă·nā·mal
