Psalm 64:2 תַּ֭סְתִּירֵנִי Hide me tas·tî·rê·nî מִסּ֣וֹד from the scheming mis·sō·wḏ מְרֵעִ֑ים of the wicked , mə·rê·‘îm מֵ֝רִגְשַׁ֗ת from the mob mê·riḡ·šaṯ פֹּ֣עֲלֵי of workers pō·‘ă·lê אָֽוֶן׃ of iniquity , ’ā·wen Psalm 64:3 אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer שָׁנְנ֣וּ sharpen šā·nə·nū לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם their tongues lə·šō·w·nām כַחֶ֣רֶב like swords ḵa·ḥe·reḇ דָּרְכ֥וּ and aim dā·rə·ḵū מָֽר׃ their bitter mār דָּבָ֥ר words dā·ḇār חִ֝צָּ֗ם like arrows , ḥiṣ·ṣām Psalm 64:4 לִיר֣וֹת ambushing lî·rō·wṯ תָּ֑ם the innocent tām בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֣ים in seclusion , bam·mis·tā·rîm יֹ֝רֻ֗הוּ shooting yō·ru·hū פִּתְאֹ֥ם suddenly , piṯ·’ōm וְלֹ֣א without wə·lō יִירָֽאוּ׃ fear . yî·rā·’ū Psalm 64:5 יְחַזְּקוּ־ They hold fast yə·ḥaz·zə·qū- לָ֨מוֹ׀ lā·mōw רָ֗ע to their evil rā‘ דָּ֘בָ֤ר purpose ; dā·ḇār יְֽ֭סַפְּרוּ they speak yə·sap·pə·rū לִטְמ֣וֹן of hiding liṭ·mō·wn מוֹקְשִׁ֑ים their snares . mō·wq·šîm מִ֣י “ Who mî יִרְאֶה־ will see yir·’eh- לָּֽמוֹ׃ them ? ” lā·mōw אָ֝מְר֗וּ they say . ’ā·mə·rū Psalm 64:6 יַֽחְפְּֽשׂוּ־ They devise yaḥ·pə·śū- עוֹלֹ֗ת injustice [and say] , ‘ō·w·lōṯ תַּ֭מְנוּ “ We have perfected tam·nū חֵ֣פֶשׂ a secret ḥê·p̄eś מְחֻפָּ֑שׂ plan . ” mə·ḥup·pāś וְקֶ֥רֶב For the inner wə·qe·reḇ אִ֝֗ישׁ man ’îš וְלֵ֣ב and the heart wə·lêḇ עָמֹֽק׃ are mysterious . ‘ā·mōq Psalm 64:7 אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים But God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיֹּרֵ֗ם will shoot them way·yō·rêm חֵ֥ץ with arrows ; ḥêṣ פִּתְא֑וֹם suddenly piṯ·’ō·wm הָ֝י֗וּ they will be hā·yū מַכּוֹתָֽם׃ wounded . mak·kō·w·ṯām Psalm 64:8 וַיַּכְשִׁיל֣וּהוּ They will be made to stumble , way·yaḵ·šî·lū·hū לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם their own tongues lə·šō·w·nām עָלֵ֣ימוֹ turned against them . ‘ā·lê·mōw כָּל־ All kāl- רֹ֥אֵה who see rō·’êh בָֽם׃ ḇām יִ֝תְנֹדֲד֗וּ will shake their heads . yiṯ·nō·ḏă·ḏū Psalm 64:9 כָּל־ Then all kāl- אָ֫דָ֥ם mankind ’ā·ḏām וַיִּֽירְא֗וּ will fear way·yî·rə·’ū וַ֭יַּגִּידוּ and proclaim way·yag·gî·ḏū פֹּ֥עַל the work pō·‘al אֱלֹהִ֗ים of God ; ’ĕ·lō·hîm הִשְׂכִּֽילוּ׃ so they will ponder hiś·kî·lū וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥הוּ what He has done . ū·ma·‘ă·śê·hū Psalm 64:10 צַדִּ֣יק Let the righteous ṣad·dîq יִשְׂמַ֬ח rejoice yiś·maḥ בַּ֭יהוָה in YHWH Yah·weh וְחָ֣סָה and take refuge wə·ḥā·sāh ב֑וֹ in Him ; ḇōw כָּל־ let all kāl- יִשְׁרֵי־ the upright yiš·rê- לֵֽב׃ in heart lêḇ וְ֝יִתְהַֽלְל֗וּ exult . wə·yiṯ·hal·lū Psalm 65:1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ For the choirmaster . lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ
