לְךָ֖ to you . lə·ḵā Genesis 49:9 יְהוּדָ֔ה Judah yə·hū·ḏāh גּ֤וּר is a young gūr אַרְיֵה֙ lion — ’ar·yêh בְּנִ֣י my son , bə·nî עָלִ֑יתָ you return ‘ā·lî·ṯā מִטֶּ֖רֶף from the prey . miṭ·ṭe·rep̄ כְּאַרְיֵ֛ה Like a lion kə·’ar·yêh כָּרַ֨ע he crouches kā·ra‘ רָבַ֧ץ [and] lies down ; rā·ḇaṣ וּכְלָבִ֖יא like a lioness , ū·ḵə·lā·ḇî מִ֥י who mî יְקִימֶֽנּוּ׃ dares to rouse him ? yə·qî·men·nū Genesis 49:10 שֵׁ֙בֶט֙ The scepter šê·ḇeṭ לֹֽא־ will not lō- יָס֥וּר depart yā·sūr מִֽיהוּדָ֔ה from Judah , mî·hū·ḏāh וּמְחֹקֵ֖ק nor the staff ū·mə·ḥō·qêq מִבֵּ֣ין from between mib·bên רַגְלָ֑יו his feet , raḡ·lāw עַ֚ד until ‘aḏ כִּֽי־ . . . kî- שִׁילֹה Shiloh šī·lōh יָבֹ֣א comes yā·ḇō יִקְּהַ֥ת and the allegiance yiq·qə·haṯ עַמִּֽים׃ of the nations ‘am·mîm וְל֖וֹ is his . wə·lōw Genesis 49:11 אֹסְרִ֤י He ties ’ō·sə·rî עִירֹה his donkey ʿī·rōh לַגֶּ֙פֶן֙ to the vine , lag·ge·p̄en בְּנִ֣י his colt bə·nî אֲתֹנ֑וֹ . . . ’ă·ṯō·nōw וְלַשֹּׂרֵקָ֖ה to the choicest branch . wə·laś·śō·rê·qāh כִּבֵּ֤ס He washes kib·bês לְבֻשׁ֔וֹ his garments lə·ḇu·šōw בַּיַּ֙יִן֙ in wine , bay·ya·yin סוּתֹה׃ his robes sū·ṯōh וּבְדַם־ in the blood ū·ḇə·ḏam- עֲנָבִ֖ים of grapes . ‘ă·nā·ḇîm Genesis 49:12 עֵינַ֖יִם His eyes ‘ê·na·yim חַכְלִילִ֥י are darker ḥaḵ·lî·lî מִיָּ֑יִן than wine , mî·yā·yin שִׁנַּ֖יִם and his teeth šin·na·yim וּלְבֶן־ are whiter ū·lə·ḇen- מֵחָלָֽב׃פ than milk . mê·ḥā·lāḇ Genesis 49:13 זְבוּלֻ֕ן Zebulun zə·ḇū·lun יִשְׁכֹּ֑ן shall dwell yiš·kōn וְהוּא֙ . . . wə·hū לְח֥וֹף by the seashore lə·ḥō·wp̄ יַמִּ֖ים . . . yam·mîm לְח֣וֹף and become a harbor lə·ḥō·wp̄ אֳנִיּ֔וֹת for ships ; ’o·nî·yō·wṯ וְיַרְכָת֖וֹ his border wə·yar·ḵā·ṯōw עַל־ shall extend ‘al- צִידֹֽן׃ס to Sidon . ṣî·ḏōn Genesis 49:14 יִשָּׂשכָ֖ר Issachar yiś·śā·š·ḵār גָּ֑רֶם [is] a strong gā·rem חֲמֹ֣ר donkey , ḥă·mōr רֹבֵ֖ץ lying down rō·ḇêṣ בֵּ֥ין between bên הַֽמִּשְׁפְּתָֽיִם׃ the sheepfolds . ham·miš·pə·ṯā·yim Genesis 49:15 וַיַּ֤רְא He saw way·yar כִּ֣י that kî מְנֻחָה֙ his resting place mə·nu·ḥāh ט֔וֹב was good ṭō·wḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כִּ֣י and that kî הָאָ֖רֶץ his land hā·’ā·reṣ נָעֵ֑מָה was pleasant , nā·‘ê·māh וַיֵּ֤ט so he bent way·yêṭ שִׁכְמוֹ֙ his shoulder šiḵ·mōw לִסְבֹּ֔ל to the burden lis·bōl וַיְהִ֖י and submitted way·hî לְמַס־ to labor lə·mas- עֹבֵֽד׃ס as a servant . ‘ō·ḇêḏ Genesis 49:16 דָּ֖ן Dan dān
