יָדִ֣ין shall provide justice yā·ḏîn עַמּ֑וֹ for his people ‘am·mōw כְּאַחַ֖ד as one kə·’a·ḥaḏ שִׁבְטֵ֥י of the tribes šiḇ·ṭê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Genesis 49:17 דָן֙ He ḏān יְהִי־ will be yə·hî- נָחָ֣שׁ a snake nā·ḥāš עֲלֵי־ by ‘ă·lê- דֶ֔רֶךְ the road , ḏe·reḵ שְׁפִיפֹ֖ן a viper šə·p̄î·p̄ōn עֲלֵי־ in ‘ă·lê- אֹ֑רַח the path ’ō·raḥ הַנֹּשֵׁךְ֙ that bites han·nō·šêḵ ס֔וּס the horse’s sūs עִקְּבֵי־ heels ‘iq·qə·ḇê- רֹכְב֖וֹ so that its rider rō·ḵə·ḇōw וַיִּפֹּ֥ל tumbles way·yip·pōl אָחֽוֹר׃ backward . ’ā·ḥō·wr Genesis 49:18 קִוִּ֥יתִי I await qiw·wî·ṯî לִֽישׁוּעָתְךָ֖ Your salvation , lî·šū·‘ā·ṯə·ḵā יְהוָֽה׃ O YHWH . Yah·weh Genesis 49:19 גָּ֖ד Gad gāḏ יְגוּדֶ֑נּוּ will be attacked yə·ḡū·ḏen·nū גְּד֣וּד by raiders , gə·ḏūḏ וְה֖וּא but he wə·hū יָגֻ֥ד will attack yā·ḡuḏ עָקֵֽב׃ס their heels . ‘ā·qêḇ Genesis 49:20 מֵאָשֵׁ֖ר Asher’s mê·’ā·šêr לַחְמ֑וֹ food laḥ·mōw שְׁמֵנָ֣ה will be rich ; šə·mê·nāh וְה֥וּא he wə·hū יִתֵּ֖ן shall provide yit·tên מֶֽלֶךְ׃ס royal me·leḵ מַֽעֲדַנֵּי־ delicacies . ma·‘ă·ḏan·nê- Genesis 49:21 נַפְתָּלִ֖י Naphtali nap̄·tā·lî אַיָּלָ֣ה is a doe ’ay·yā·lāh שְׁלֻחָ֑ה set free šə·lu·ḥāh הַנֹּתֵ֖ן that bears han·nō·ṯên שָֽׁפֶר׃ס beautiful šā·p̄er אִמְרֵי־ fawns . ’im·rê- Genesis 49:22 יוֹסֵ֔ף Joseph yō·w·sêp̄ פֹּרָת֙ is a fruitful pō·rāṯ בֵּ֤ן vine — bên פֹּרָ֖ת a fruitful pō·rāṯ בֵּ֥ן vine bên עֲלֵי־ by ‘ă·lê- עָ֑יִן a spring , ‘ā·yin בָּנ֕וֹת whose branches bā·nō·wṯ צָעֲדָ֖ה scale ṣā·‘ă·ḏāh עֲלֵי־ . . . ‘ă·lê- שֽׁוּר׃ the wall . šūr Genesis 49:23 בַּעֲלֵ֥י The archers ba·‘ă·lê חִצִּֽים׃ . . . ḥiṣ·ṣîm וַֽיְמָרֲרֻ֖הוּ attacked him with bitterness ; way·mā·ră·ru·hū וָרֹ֑בּוּ they aimed at him wā·rōb·bū וַֽיִּשְׂטְמֻ֖הוּ in hostility . way·yiś·ṭə·mu·hū Genesis 49:24 וַתֵּ֤שֶׁב Yet he steadied wat·tê·šeḇ בְּאֵיתָן֙ . . . bə·’ê·ṯān קַשְׁתּ֔וֹ his bow , qaš·tōw זְרֹעֵ֣י and his strong arms zə·rō·‘ê יָדָ֑יו . . . yā·ḏāw וַיָּפֹ֖זּוּ were tempered way·yā·p̄ōz·zū מִידֵי֙ by the hands mî·ḏê אֲבִ֣יר of the Mighty One ’ă·ḇîr יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ מִשָּׁ֥ם in the name of miš·šām רֹעֶ֖ה the Shepherd , rō·‘eh אֶ֥בֶן the Rock ’e·ḇen יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl Genesis 49:25 מֵאֵ֨ל by the God mê·’êl אָבִ֜יךָ of your father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā וְיַעְזְרֶ֗ךָּ who helps you , wə·ya‘·zə·re·kā
