Psalm 1:3 וְֽהָיָ֗ה He is wə·hā·yāh כְּעֵץ֮ like a tree kə·‘êṣ שָׁת֪וּל planted šā·ṯūl עַֽל־ by ‘al- פַּלְגֵ֫י streams pal·ḡê מָ֥יִם of water , mā·yim אֲשֶׁ֤ר vvv ’ă·šer יִתֵּ֬ן yielding yit·tên פִּרְי֨וֹ׀ its fruit pir·yōw בְּעִתּ֗וֹ in season , bə·‘it·tōw וְעָלֵ֥הוּ whose leaf wə·‘ā·lê·hū לֹֽא־ does not lō- יִבּ֑וֹל wither , yib·bō·wl וְכֹ֖ל and wə·ḵōl יַצְלִֽיחַ׃ who prospers yaṣ·lî·aḥ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה in all he does . ya·‘ă·śeh Psalm 1:4 לֹא־ Not lō- כֵ֥ן so ḵên הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים the wicked ! hā·rə·šā·‘îm כִּ֥י For kî אִם־ [they are] ’im- כַּ֝מֹּ֗ץ like chaff kam·mōṣ אֲ - ’ăšer- תִּדְּפֶ֥נּוּ driven off tid·də·p̄en·nū רֽוּחַ׃ by the wind . rū·aḥ Psalm 1:5 עַל־ Therefore ‘al- כֵּ֤ן׀ . . . kên רְ֭שָׁעִים the wicked rə·šā·‘îm לֹא־ {will} not lō- יָקֻ֣מוּ stand yā·qu·mū בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט in the judgment , bam·miš·pāṭ וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים nor sinners wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’îm בַּעֲדַ֥ת in the assembly ba·‘ă·ḏaṯ צַדִּיקִֽים׃ of the righteous . ṣad·dî·qîm Psalm 1:6 כִּֽי־ For kî- יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh יוֹדֵ֣עַ guards yō·w·ḏê·a‘ דֶּ֣רֶךְ the path de·reḵ צַדִּיקִ֑ים of the righteous , ṣad·dî·qîm וְדֶ֖רֶךְ but the way wə·ḏe·reḵ רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked rə·šā·‘îm תֹּאבֵֽד׃ will perish . tō·ḇêḏ Psalm 2:1 לָ֭מָּה Why lām·māh גוֹיִ֑ם do the nations ḡō·w·yim רָגְשׁ֣וּ rage rā·ḡə·šū וּ֝לְאֻמִּ֗ים and the peoples ū·lə·’um·mîm יֶהְגּוּ־ plot yeh·gū- רִֽיק׃ in vain ? rîq Psalm 2:2 מַלְכֵי־ The kings mal·ḵê- אֶ֗רֶץ of the earth ’e·reṣ יִ֥תְיַצְּב֨וּ׀ take their stand yiṯ·yaṣ·ṣə·ḇū וְרוֹזְנִ֥ים and the rulers wə·rō·wz·nîm נֽוֹסְדוּ־ gather nō·ws·ḏū- יָ֑חַד together , yā·ḥaḏ עַל־ against ‘al- יְ֝הוָה YHWH Yah·weh וְעַל־ and against wə·‘al- מְשִׁיחֽוֹ׃ His Anointed One : mə·šî·ḥōw Psalm 2:3 נְֽ֭נַתְּקָה “ Let us break nə·nat·tə·qāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֽוֹסְרוֹתֵ֑ימוֹ Their chains mō·ws·rō·w·ṯê·mōw וְנַשְׁלִ֖יכָה and cast away wə·naš·lî·ḵāh מִמֶּ֣נּוּ . . . mim·men·nū עֲבֹתֵֽימוֹ׃ Their cords . ” ‘ă·ḇō·ṯê·mōw Psalm 2:4 יוֹשֵׁ֣ב The One enthroned yō·wō·šêḇ בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם in heaven baš·šā·ma·yim יִשְׂחָ֑ק laughs ; yiś·ḥāq אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יִלְעַג־ taunts them yil·‘aḡ- לָֽמוֹ׃ - . lā·mōw Psalm 2:5 אָ֤ז Then ’āz יְדַבֵּ֣ר He rebukes yə·ḏab·bêr אֵלֵ֣ימוֹ them ’ê·lê·mōw בְאַפּ֑וֹ in His anger , ḇə·’ap·pōw
