יְבַהֲלֵֽמוֹ׃ and terrifies them yə·ḇa·hă·lê·mōw וּֽבַחֲרוֹנ֥וֹ in His fury : ū·ḇa·ḥă·rō·w·nōw Psalm 2:6 וַ֭אֲנִי “ I have wa·’ă·nî נָסַ֣כְתִּי installed nā·saḵ·tî מַלְכִּ֑י My King mal·kî עַל־ on ‘al- צִ֝יּ֗וֹן Zion , ṣî·yō·wn קָדְשִֽׁי׃ [upon] My holy qāḏ·šî הַר־ mountain . ” har- Psalm 2:7 אֲסַפְּרָ֗ה I will proclaim ’ă·sap·pə·rāh אֶֽ֫ל . . . ’el חֹ֥ק the decree ḥōq אָמַ֘ר spoken ’ā·mar אֵלַ֥י to Me ’ê·lay יְֽהוָ֗ה by YHWH : Yah·weh אַ֑תָּה “ You ’at·tāh בְּנִ֥י [are] My Son ; bə·nî הַיּ֥וֹם today hay·yō·wm אֲ֝נִ֗י I ’ă·nî יְלִדְתִּֽיךָ׃ have become Your Father . yə·liḏ·tî·ḵā Psalm 2:8 שְׁאַ֤ל Ask šə·’al מִמֶּ֗נִּי Me , mim·men·nî וְאֶתְּנָ֣ה and I {will} make wə·’et·tə·nāh ג֭וֹיִם the nations ḡō·w·yim נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ Your inheritance , na·ḥă·lā·ṯe·ḵā אַפְסֵי־ the ends ’ap̄·sê- אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth ’ā·reṣ וַ֝אֲחֻזָּתְךָ֗ Your possession . wa·’ă·ḥuz·zā·ṯə·ḵā Psalm 2:9 תְּ֭רֹעֵם You will break them tə·rō·‘êm בַּרְזֶ֑ל with an iron bar·zel בְּשֵׁ֣בֶט scepter ; bə·šê·ḇeṭ תְּנַפְּצֵֽם׃ You will shatter them tə·nap·pə·ṣêm יוֹצֵ֣ר like pottery yō·w·ṣêr כִּכְלִ֖י . . . . ” kiḵ·lî Psalm 2:10 וְ֭עַתָּה Therefore wə·‘at·tāh הַשְׂכִּ֑ילוּ be wise , haś·kî·lū מְלָכִ֣ים O kings ; mə·lā·ḵîm הִ֝וָּסְר֗וּ be admonished , hiw·wā·sə·rū שֹׁ֣פְטֵי O judges šō·p̄ə·ṭê אָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth . ’ā·reṣ Psalm 2:11 עִבְד֣וּ Serve ‘iḇ·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh בְּיִרְאָ֑ה with fear , bə·yir·’āh וְ֝גִ֗ילוּ and rejoice wə·ḡî·lū בִּרְעָדָֽה׃ with trembling . bir·‘ā·ḏāh Psalm 2:12 נַשְּׁקוּ־ Kiss naš·šə·qū- בַ֡ר the Son , ḇar פֶּן־ lest pen- יֶאֱנַ֤ף׀ He be angry ye·’ĕ·nap̄ וְתֹ֬אבְדוּ and you perish wə·ṯō·ḇə·ḏū דֶ֗רֶךְ in your rebellion , ḏe·reḵ כִּֽי־ when kî- אַפּ֑וֹ His wrath ’ap·pōw יִבְעַ֣ר ignites yiḇ·‘ar כִּמְעַ֣ט in an instant . kim·‘aṭ אַ֝שְׁרֵ֗י Blessed ’aš·rê כָּל־ [are] all kāl- ח֥וֹסֵי who take refuge ḥō·w·sê בֽוֹ׃ in Him . ḇōw Psalm 3:1 מִזְמ֥וֹר A Psalm miz·mō·wr לְדָוִ֑ד of David , lə·ḏā·wiḏ בְּ֝בָרְח֗וֹ when he fled bə·ḇā·rə·ḥōw מִפְּנֵ֤י׀ from mip·pə·nê בְּנֽוֹ׃ his son bə·nōw אַבְשָׁל֬וֹם Absalom . ’aḇ·šā·lō·wm יְ֭הוָה O YHWH , Yah·weh מָֽה־ how māh- צָרָ֑י my foes ṣā·rāy רַבּ֣וּ have increased ! rab·bū רַ֝בִּ֗ים How many rab·bîm קָמִ֥ים rise up qā·mîm עָלָֽי׃ against me ! ‘ā·lāy
