Job 37:17 אֲשֶׁר־ You whose ’ă·šer- בְּגָדֶ֥יךָ clothes bə·ḡā·ḏe·ḵā חַמִּ֑ים get hot ḥam·mîm אֶ֝֗רֶץ when the land ’e·reṣ בְּהַשְׁקִ֥ט lies hushed bə·haš·qiṭ מִדָּרֽוֹם׃ under the south wind , mid·dā·rō·wm Job 37:18 עִ֭מּוֹ can you, like Him , ‘im·mōw תַּרְקִ֣יעַ spread out tar·qî·a‘ לִשְׁחָקִ֑ים the skies liš·ḥā·qîm חֲ֝זָקִ֗ים to reflect the heat ḥă·zā·qîm כִּרְאִ֥י like a mirror kir·’î מוּצָֽק׃ of bronze ? mū·ṣāq Job 37:19 ה֭וֹדִיעֵנוּ Teach us hō·w·ḏî·‘ê·nū מַה־ what mah- נֹּ֣אמַר we should say nō·mar ל֑וֹ to Him ; lōw לֹ֥א־ we cannot lō- נַ֝עֲרֹ֗ךְ draw up our case na·‘ă·rōḵ מִפְּנֵי־ when our faces mip·pə·nê- חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ are in darkness . ḥō·šeḵ Job 37:20 הַֽיְסֻפַּר־ Should He be told hay·sup·par- ל֭וֹ lōw כִּ֣י that kî אֲדַבֵּ֑ר I want to speak ? ’ă·ḏab·bêr אִֽם־ . . . ’im- אִ֝֗ישׁ Would a man ’îš אָ֥מַר ask ’ā·mar כִּ֣י - kî יְבֻלָּֽע׃ to be swallowed up ? yə·ḇul·lā‘ Job 37:21 וְעַתָּ֤ה׀ Now wə·‘at·tāh לֹ֘א no one lō רָ֤אוּ can gaze rā·’ū א֗וֹר at the sun ’ō·wr ה֭וּא [when] it [is] hū בָּהִ֣יר bright bā·hîr בַּשְּׁחָקִ֑ים in the skies baš·šə·ḥā·qîm וְר֥וּחַ after the wind wə·rū·aḥ עָ֝בְרָ֗ה has swept them ‘ā·ḇə·rāh וַֽתְּטַהֲרֵֽם׃ clean . wat·tə·ṭa·hă·rêm Job 37:22 מִ֭צָּפוֹן Out of the north miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn יֶֽאֱתֶ֑ה He comes ye·’ĕ·ṯeh זָהָ֣ב in golden [splendor] ; zā·hāḇ נ֣וֹרָא awesome nō·w·rā הֽוֹד׃ majesty hō·wḏ עַל־ surrounds ‘al- אֱ֝ל֗וֹהַּ Him . ’ĕ·lō·w·ah Job 37:23 שַׁדַּ֣י The Almighty šad·day לֹֽא־ is beyond lō- מְ֭צָאנֻהוּ our reach ; mə·ṣā·nu·hū שַׂגִּיא־ He is exalted śag·gî- כֹ֑חַ in power ! ḵō·aḥ וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט In His justice ū·miš·pāṭ וְרֹב־ and great wə·rōḇ- צְ֝דָקָ֗ה righteousness ṣə·ḏā·qāh לֹ֣א He does not lō יְעַנֶּֽה׃ oppress . yə·‘an·neh Job 37:24 לָ֭כֵן Therefore , lā·ḵên אֲנָשִׁ֑ים men ’ă·nā·šîm יְרֵא֣וּהוּ fear Him , yə·rê·’ū·hū לֹֽא־ for He is not lō- יִ֝רְאֶ֗ה partial yir·’eh כָּל־ to the kāl- חַכְמֵי־ wise ḥaḵ·mê- לֵֽב׃פ in heart . ” lêḇ Job 38:1 יְהוָ֣ה Then YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ ’eṯ- וַיַּֽעַן־ answered way·ya·‘an- אִ֭יּוֹב Job ’î·yō·wḇ מִנ out of min הַסְּעָרָה the whirlwind has·sə·ʿå̄·rå̄h וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ and said : way·yō·mar Job 38:2 מִ֤י “ Who mî זֶ֨ה׀ is this zeh
