מִנִּי־ in min·nî- אָ֑לֶף a thousand , ’ā·lep̄ לְהַגִּ֖יד to tell lə·hag·gîḏ לְאָדָ֣ם a man lə·’ā·ḏām יָשְׁרֽוֹ׃ what is right for him , yā·šə·rōw Job 33:24 וַיְחֻנֶּ֗נּוּ to be gracious way·ḥun·nen·nū וַיֹּ֗אמֶר to him and say , way·yō·mer פְּ֭דָעֵהוּ ‘ Spare him pə·ḏā·‘ê·hū מֵרֶ֥דֶת from going down mê·re·ḏeṯ שָׁ֗חַת to the Pit ; šā·ḥaṯ מָצָ֥אתִי I have found mā·ṣā·ṯî כֹֽפֶר׃ his ransom , ’ ḵō·p̄er Job 33:25 בְּשָׂר֣וֹ then his flesh bə·śā·rōw רֻֽטֲפַ֣שׁ is refreshed ru·ṭă·p̄aš מִנֹּ֑עַר like a child’s ; min·nō·‘ar יָ֝שׁ֗וּב he returns yā·šūḇ לִימֵ֥י to the days lî·mê עֲלוּמָֽיו׃ of his youth . ‘ă·lū·māw Job 33:26 יֶעְתַּ֤ר He prays ye‘·tar אֶל־ to ’el- אֱל֨וֹהַּ׀ God ’ĕ·lō·w·ah וַיִּרְצֵ֗הוּ and finds favor ; way·yir·ṣê·hū וַיַּ֣רְא he sees way·yar פָּ֭נָיו [God’s] face pā·nāw בִּתְרוּעָ֑ה and shouts for joy , biṯ·rū·‘āh וַיָּ֥שֶׁב and God restores way·yā·šeḇ צִדְקָתֽוֹ׃ His righteousness ṣiḏ·qā·ṯōw לֶ֝אֱנ֗וֹשׁ to that man . le·’ĕ·nō·wōš Job 33:27 יָשֹׁ֤ר׀ Then he sings yā·šōr עַל־ before ‘al- אֲנָשִׁ֗ים men ’ă·nā·šîm וַיֹּ֗אמֶר with these words : way·yō·mer חָ֭טָאתִי ‘ I have sinned ḥā·ṭā·ṯî הֶעֱוֵ֗יתִי and perverted he·‘ĕ·wê·ṯî וְיָשָׁ֥ר what was right ; wə·yā·šār וְלֹא־ yet I did not wə·lō- שָׁ֥וָה get what I deserved šā·wāh לִֽי׃ . lî Job 33:28 פָּדָ֣ה He redeemed pā·ḏāh נַפְשִׁי my soul nap̄·šī מֵעֲבֹ֣ר from going down mê·‘ă·ḇōr בַּשָּׁ֑חַת to the Pit , baš·šā·ḥaṯ וְחַיָּתִי and I will live wə·ḥay·yå̄·ṯī תִּרְאֶֽה׃ to see tir·’eh בָּא֥וֹר the light . ’ bā·’ō·wr Job 33:29 הֶן־ Behold , hen- כָּל־ all kāl- אֵ֭לֶּה these things ’êl·leh אֵ֑ל God ’êl יִפְעַל־ does yip̄·‘al- עִם־ to ‘im- גָּֽבֶר׃ a man , gā·ḇer פַּעֲמַ֖יִם two pa·‘ă·ma·yim שָׁל֣וֹשׁ or even three times , šā·lō·wōš Job 33:30 לְהָשִׁ֣יב to bring back lə·hā·šîḇ נַ֭פְשׁוֹ his soul nap̄·šōw מִנִּי־ from min·nî- שָׁ֑חַת the Pit , šā·ḥaṯ לֵ֝א֗וֹר that he may be enlightened lê·’ō·wr בְּא֣וֹר with the light bə·’ō·wr הַֽחַיִּים׃ of life . ha·ḥay·yîm Job 33:31 הַקְשֵׁ֖ב Pay attention , haq·šêḇ אִיּ֥וֹב Job , ’î·yō·wḇ שְֽׁמַֽע־ and listen šə·ma‘- לִ֑י to me ; lî הַ֝חֲרֵ֗שׁ be silent , ha·ḥă·rêš וְאָנֹכִ֥י and I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî אֲדַבֵּֽר׃ will speak . ’ă·ḏab·bêr Job 33:32 אִם־ But if ’im- יֵשׁ־ you have yêš- מִלִּ֥ין something to say , mil·lîn הֲשִׁיבֵ֑נִי answer me ; hă·šî·ḇê·nî דַּ֝בֵּ֗ר speak up , dab·bêr
