יִתְמַלָּאֽוּן׃ they join yiṯ·mal·lā·’ūn יַ֝֗חַד together ya·ḥaḏ עָלַ֥י against me . ‘ā·lay Job 16:11 אֵ֭ל God ’êl יַסְגִּירֵ֣נִי has delivered me yas·gî·rê·nî אֶ֣ל to ’el עֲוִ֑יל unjust men ; ‘ă·wîl יִרְטֵֽנִי׃ He has thrown me yir·ṭê·nî וְעַל־ to wə·‘al- יְדֵ֖י the clutches yə·ḏê רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked . rə·šā·‘îm Job 16:12 הָיִ֨יתִי׀ I was hā·yî·ṯî שָׁ֘לֵ֤ו at ease , šā·lêw וַֽיְפַרְפְּרֵ֗נִי but He shattered me ; way·p̄ar·pə·rê·nî וְאָחַ֣ז He seized me wə·’ā·ḥaz בְּ֭עָרְפִּי by the neck bə·‘ā·rə·pî וַֽיְפַצְפְּצֵ֑נִי and crushed me . way·p̄aṣ·pə·ṣê·nî וַיְקִימֵ֥נִי He has set me up way·qî·mê·nî ל֝֗וֹ as His lōw לְמַטָּרָֽה׃ target ; lə·maṭ·ṭā·rāh Job 16:13 רַבָּ֗יו His archers rab·bāw יָ֘סֹ֤בּוּ surround me . yā·sōb·bū עָלַ֨י׀ . . . ‘ā·lay יְפַלַּ֣ח He pierces yə·p̄al·laḥ כִּ֭לְיוֹתַי my kidneys kil·yō·w·ṯay וְלֹ֣א without wə·lō יַחְמ֑וֹל mercy yaḥ·mō·wl יִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְ and spills yiš·pōḵ מְרֵרָֽתִי׃ my gall mə·rê·rā·ṯî לָ֝אָ֗רֶץ on the ground . lā·’ā·reṣ Job 16:14 יִפְרְצֵ֣נִי He breaks me yip̄·rə·ṣê·nî פֶ֭רֶץ with wound p̄e·reṣ עַל־ upon ‘al- פְּנֵי־ pə·nê- פָ֑רֶץ wound ; p̄ā·reṣ יָרֻ֖ץ He rushes yā·ruṣ עָלַ֣י me ‘ā·lay כְּגִבּֽוֹר׃ like a mighty warrior . kə·ḡib·bō·wr Job 16:15 תָּ֭פַרְתִּי I have sewn tā·p̄ar·tî שַׂ֣ק sackcloth śaq עֲלֵ֣י over ‘ă·lê גִלְדִּ֑י my skin ; ḡil·dî וְעֹלַ֖לְתִּי I have buried wə·‘ō·lal·tî קַרְנִֽי׃ my horn qar·nî בֶעָפָ֣ר in the dust . ḇe·‘ā·p̄ār Job 16:16 פָּנַ֣י My face pā·nay חֳמַרְמְרָה is red ḥo·mar·mə·rå̄h מִנִּי־ with min·nî- בֶ֑כִי weeping , ḇe·ḵî צַלְמָֽוֶת׃ and deep shadows ṣal·mā·weṯ וְעַ֖ל ring wə·‘al עַפְעַפַּ֣י my eyes ; ‘ap̄·‘ap·pay Job 16:17 עַ֭ל yet ‘al בְּכַפָּ֑י my hands bə·ḵap·pāy לֹא־ are free of lō- חָמָ֣ס violence ḥā·mās וּֽתְפִלָּתִ֥י and my prayer ū·ṯə·p̄il·lā·ṯî זַכָּֽה׃ is pure . zak·kāh Job 16:18 אֶ֭רֶץ O earth , ’e·reṣ אַל־ do not ’al- תְּכַסִּ֣י cover tə·ḵas·sî דָמִ֑י my blood ; ḏā·mî לְזַעֲקָתִֽי׃ may my cry for help lə·za·‘ă·qā·ṯî וְֽאַל־ never wə·’al- יְהִ֥י be yə·hî מָ֝ק֗וֹם laid to rest . mā·qō·wm Job 16:19 גַּם־ Even gam- עַ֭תָּה now ‘at·tāh הִנֵּה־ . . . hin·nêh- עֵדִ֑י my witness ‘ê·ḏî בַשָּׁמַ֣יִם is in heaven , ḇaš·šā·ma·yim וְ֝שָׂהֲדִ֗י and my advocate wə·śā·hă·ḏî בַּמְּרוֹמִֽים׃ is on high . bam·mə·rō·w·mîm
