אָ֥ז so that ’āz לֹ֣א I need not lō אֶסָּתֵֽר׃ hide ’es·sā·ṯêr מִ֝פָּנֶ֗יךָ from You : mip·pā·ne·ḵā Job 13:21 הַרְחַ֑ק Withdraw har·ḥaq כַּ֭פְּךָ Your hand kap·pə·ḵā מֵעָלַ֣י from me , mê·‘ā·lay אַֽל־ and do not ’al- וְ֝אֵ֥מָתְךָ֗ let Your terror wə·’ê·mā·ṯə·ḵā תְּבַעֲתַֽנִּי׃ frighten me . tə·ḇa·‘ă·ṯan·nî Job 13:22 וּ֭קְרָא Then call me , ū·qə·rā וְאָנֹכִ֣י and I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî אֶֽעֱנֶ֑ה will answer , ’e·‘ĕ·neh אֽוֹ־ or ’ōw- אֲ֝דַבֵּ֗ר let me speak , ’ă·ḏab·bêr וַהֲשִׁיבֵֽנִי׃ and You can reply . wa·hă·šî·ḇê·nî Job 13:23 כַּמָּ֣ה How many kam·māh לִ֭י [are] my lî עֲוֺנ֣וֹת iniquities ‘ă·wō·nō·wṯ וְחַטָּא֑וֹת and sins ? wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’ō·wṯ הֹדִיעֵֽנִי׃ Reveal to me hō·ḏî·‘ê·nî פִּֽשְׁעִ֥י my transgression piš·‘î וְ֝חַטָּאתִ֗י and sin . wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯî Job 13:24 לָֽמָּה־ Why lām·māh- תַסְתִּ֑יר do You hide ṯas·tîr פָנֶ֥יךָ Your face p̄ā·ne·ḵā וְתַחְשְׁבֵ֖נִי and consider me wə·ṯaḥ·šə·ḇê·nî לָֽךְ׃ as Your lāḵ לְאוֹיֵ֣ב enemy ? lə·’ō·w·yêḇ Job 13:25 תַּעֲר֑וֹץ Would You frighten ta·‘ă·rō·wṣ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- נִדָּ֣ף a windblown nid·dāp̄ הֶעָלֶ֣ה leaf ? he·‘ā·leh תִּרְדֹּֽף׃ Would You chase after tir·dōp̄ יָבֵ֣שׁ dry yā·ḇêš קַ֖שׁ chaff ? qaš Job 13:26 כִּֽי־ For kî- תִכְתֹּ֣ב You record ṯiḵ·tōḇ מְרֹר֑וֹת bitter accusations mə·rō·rō·wṯ עָלַ֣י against me ‘ā·lay וְ֝תוֹרִישֵׁ֗נִי and bequeath to me wə·ṯō·w·rî·šê·nî עֲוֺנ֥וֹת the iniquities ‘ă·wō·nō·wṯ נְעוּרָֽי׃ of my youth . nə·‘ū·rāy Job 13:27 וְתָ֘שֵׂ֤ם You put wə·ṯā·śêm רַגְלַ֗י my feet raḡ·lay בַּסַּ֨ד׀ in the stocks bas·saḏ וְתִשְׁמ֥וֹר and stand watch wə·ṯiš·mō·wr כָּל־ over all kāl- אָרְחוֹתָ֑י my paths ; ’ā·rə·ḥō·w·ṯāy תִּתְחַקֶּֽה׃ You set a limit tiṯ·ḥaq·qeh עַל־ for ‘al- שָׁרְשֵׁ֥י the soles šā·rə·šê רַ֝גְלַ֗י of my feet . raḡ·lay Job 13:28 וְ֭הוּא So man wə·hū יִבְלֶ֑ה wastes away yiḇ·leh כְּרָקָ֣ב like something rotten , kə·rā·qāḇ אֲכָ֣לוֹ like a moth-eaten ’ă·ḵā·lōw עָֽשׁ׃ . . . ‘āš כְּ֝בֶ֗גֶד garment .
