וְ֝כַגְּבִנָּ֗ה like cheese ? wə·ḵag·gə·ḇin·nāh Job 10:11 תַּלְבִּישֵׁ֑נִי You clothed me tal·bî·šê·nî ע֣וֹר with skin ‘ō·wr וּ֭בָשָׂר and flesh , ū·ḇā·śār תְּסֹכְכֵֽנִי׃ and knit me together tə·sō·ḵə·ḵê·nî וּֽבַעֲצָמ֥וֹת with bones ū·ḇa·‘ă·ṣā·mō·wṯ וְ֝גִידִ֗ים and sinews . wə·ḡî·ḏîm Job 10:12 עָשִׂ֣יתָ You have granted ‘ā·śî·ṯā עִמָּדִ֑י me ‘im·mā·ḏî חַיִּ֣ים life ḥay·yîm וָ֭חֶסֶד and loving devotion , wā·ḥe·seḏ וּ֝פְקֻדָּתְךָ֗ and Your care ū·p̄ə·qud·dā·ṯə·ḵā שָֽׁמְרָ֥ה has preserved šā·mə·rāh רוּחִֽי׃ my spirit . rū·ḥî Job 10:13 צָפַ֣נְתָּ Yet You concealed ṣā·p̄an·tā וְ֭אֵלֶּה these [things] wə·’êl·leh בִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ in Your heart , ḇil·ḇā·ḇe·ḵā יָ֝דַ֗עְתִּי and I know yā·ḏa‘·tî כִּי־ that kî- זֹ֥את this [was] zōṯ עִמָּֽךְ׃ in Your [mind] : ‘im·māḵ Job 10:14 אִם־ If ’im- חָטָ֥אתִי I sinned , ḥā·ṭā·ṯî וּשְׁמַרְתָּ֑נִי You would take note , ū·šə·mar·tā·nî לֹ֣א and would not lō תְנַקֵּֽנִי׃ acquit me ṯə·naq·qê·nî וּ֝מֵעֲוֺנִ֗י of my iniquity . ū·mê·‘ă·wō·nî Job 10:15 אִם־ If ’im- רָשַׁ֡עְתִּי I am guilty , rā·ša‘·tî אַלְלַ֬י woe ’al·lay לִ֗י to me ! lî וְ֭צָדַקְתִּי And even if I am righteous , wə·ṣā·ḏaq·tî לֹא־ I cannot lō- אֶשָּׂ֣א lift ’eś·śā רֹאשִׁ֑י my head . rō·šî שְׂבַ֥ע [I am] full śə·ḇa‘ קָ֝ל֗וֹן of shame qā·lō·wn וּרְאֵ֥ה and aware of ū·rə·’êh עָנְיִֽי׃ my affliction . ‘ā·nə·yî Job 10:16 וְ֭יִגְאֶה Should I hold my head high , wə·yiḡ·’eh תְּצוּדֵ֑נִי You would hunt me tə·ṣū·ḏê·nî כַּשַּׁ֣חַל like a lion , kaš·ša·ḥal וְ֝תָשֹׁ֗ב and again wə·ṯā·šōḇ תִּתְפַּלָּא־ display Your power tiṯ·pal·lā- בִֽי׃ against me . ḇî Job 10:17 תְּחַדֵּ֬שׁ You produce new tə·ḥad·dêš עֵדֶ֨יךָ׀ witnesses ‘ê·ḏe·ḵā נֶגְדִּ֗י against me neḡ·dî וְתֶ֣רֶב and multiply wə·ṯe·reḇ כַּֽ֭עַשְׂךָ Your anger ka·‘aś·ḵā עִמָּדִ֑י toward me . ‘im·mā·ḏî וְצָבָ֣א Hardships wə·ṣā·ḇā עִמִּֽי׃ assault me ‘im·mî חֲלִיפ֖וֹת in wave after wave . ḥă·lî·p̄ō·wṯ Job 10:18 וְלָ֣מָּה Why then wə·lām·māh הֹצֵאתָ֑נִי did You bring me hō·ṣê·ṯā·nî מֵ֭רֶחֶם from the womb ? mê·re·ḥem אֶ֝גְוַ֗ע Oh, that I had died , ’eḡ·wa‘ לֹא־ and no lō- וְעַ֣יִן eye wə·‘a·yin תִרְאֵֽנִי׃ had seen me ! ṯir·’ê·nî Job 10:19 כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר If only ka·’ă·šer לֹא־ I had never lō- הָיִ֣יתִי come hā·yî·ṯî אֶהְיֶ֑ה to be , ’eh·yeh אוּבָֽל׃ but had been carried ’ū·ḇāl מִ֝בֶּ֗טֶן from the womb mib·be·ṭen לַקֶּ֥בֶר to the grave . laq·qe·ḇer Job 10:20 יָמַ֣י Are my days yā·may הֲלֹא־ not hă·lō-
