בְּחַ֫יָּ֥י life ; bə·ḥay·yāy אֶֽעֶזְבָ֣ה I will express ’e·‘ez·ḇāh עָלַ֣י . . . ‘ā·lay שִׂיחִ֑י my complaint śî·ḥî אֲ֝דַבְּרָה֗ and speak ’ă·ḏab·bə·rāh בְּמַ֣ר in the bitterness bə·mar נַפְשִֽׁי׃ of my soul . nap̄·šî Job 10:2 אֹמַ֣ר I will say ’ō·mar אֶל־ to ’el- אֱ֭לוֹהַּ God : ’ĕ·lō·w·ah אַל־ Do not ’al- תַּרְשִׁיעֵ֑נִי condemn me ! tar·šî·‘ê·nî הֽ֝וֹדִיעֵ֗נִי Let me know hō·w·ḏî·‘ê·nî עַ֣ל why ‘al מַה־ . . . mah- תְּרִיבֵֽנִי׃ You prosecute me . tə·rî·ḇê·nî Job 10:3 הֲט֤וֹב Does it please hă·ṭō·wḇ לְךָ֨׀ You lə·ḵā כִּֽי־ . . . kî- תַעֲשֹׁ֗ק to oppress me , ṯa·‘ă·šōq כִּֽי־ . . . kî- תִ֭מְאַס to reject ṯim·’as יְגִ֣יעַ the work yə·ḡî·a‘ כַּפֶּ֑יךָ of Your hands kap·pe·ḵā וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- הוֹפָֽעְתָּ׃ and favor hō·w·p̄ā·‘ə·tā עֲצַ֖ת the schemes ‘ă·ṣaṯ רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked ? rə·šā·‘îm Job 10:4 הַעֵינֵ֣י Do You have eyes ha·‘ê·nê בָשָׂ֣ר of flesh ḇā·śār לָ֑ךְ ? lāḵ אִם־ - ’im- כִּרְא֖וֹת Do You see kir·’ō·wṯ אֱנ֣וֹשׁ as man ’ĕ·nō·wōš תִּרְאֶֽה׃ sees ? tir·’eh Job 10:5 הֲכִימֵ֣י Are Your days hă·ḵî·mê יָמֶ֑יךָ like those yā·me·ḵā אֱנ֣וֹשׁ of a [mortal] , ’ĕ·nō·wōš אִם־ or ’i·mōš- שְׁ֝נוֹתֶ֗יךָ Your years nō·w·ṯe·ḵā כִּ֣ימֵי like those kî·mê גָֽבֶר׃ of a man , ḡā·ḇer Job 10:6 כִּֽי־ that kî- תְבַקֵּ֥שׁ You should seek ṯə·ḇaq·qêš לַעֲוֺנִ֑י my iniquity la·‘ă·wō·nî תִדְרֽוֹשׁ׃ and search out ṯiḏ·rō·wōš וּ֭לְחַטָּאתִ֥י my sin — ū·lə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯî Job 10:7 עַֽל־ though ‘al- דַּ֭עְתְּךָ You know da‘·tə·ḵā כִּי־ that kî- לֹ֣א I am not lō אֶרְשָׁ֑ע guilty , ’er·šā‘ וְאֵ֖ין and there is no wə·’ên מַצִּֽיל׃ deliverance maṣ·ṣîl מִיָּדְךָ֣ from Your hand ? mî·yā·ḏə·ḵā Job 10:8 יָדֶ֣יךָ Your hands yā·ḏe·ḵā עִ֭צְּבוּנִי shaped me ‘iṣ·ṣə·ḇū·nî יַ֥חַד and altogether ya·ḥaḏ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֑וּנִי formed me . way·ya·‘ă·śū·nî סָ֝בִ֗יב Would You now turn sā·ḇîḇ וַֽתְּבַלְּעֵֽנִי׃ and destroy me ? wat·tə·ḇal·lə·‘ê·nî Job 10:9 נָ֭א Please nā זְכָר־ remember zə·ḵār- כִּי־ that kî- עֲשִׂיתָ֑נִי You molded me ‘ă·śî·ṯā·nî כַחֹ֣מֶר like clay . ḵa·ḥō·mer תְּשִׁיבֵֽנִי׃ Would You now return me tə·šî·ḇê·nî וְֽאֶל־ to wə·’el- עָפָ֥ר dust ? ‘ā·p̄ār Job 10:10 הֲלֹ֣א Did You not hă·lō תַּתִּיכֵ֑נִי pour me out tat·tî·ḵê·nî כֶ֭חָלָב like milk , ḵe·ḥā·lāḇ תַּקְפִּיאֵֽנִי׃ and curdle me taq·pî·’ê·nî
