Job 5:23 כִּ֤י For kî בְרִיתֶ֑ךָ you will have a covenant ḇə·rî·ṯe·ḵā עִם־ with ‘im- אַבְנֵ֣י the stones ’aḇ·nê הַשָּׂדֶ֣ה of the field , haś·śā·ḏeh הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה and the wild haś·śā·ḏeh וְחַיַּ֥ת animals wə·ḥay·yaṯ הָשְׁלְמָה־ will be at peace hā·šə·lə·māh- לָֽךְ׃ with you . lāḵ Job 5:24 וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ You will know wə·yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּי־ that kî- אָהֳלֶ֑ךָ your tent ’ā·ho·le·ḵā שָׁל֣וֹם is secure , šā·lō·wm וְלֹ֣א and find nothing wə·lō תֶחֱטָֽא׃ amiss ṯe·ḥĕ·ṭā וּֽפָקַדְתָּ֥ when inspecting ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tā נָ֝וְךָ your home . nā·wə·ḵā Job 5:25 וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ You will know wə·yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּי־ that kî- זַרְעֶ֑ךָ your offspring zar·‘e·ḵā רַ֣ב will be many , raḇ וְ֝צֶאֱצָאֶ֗יךָ your descendants wə·ṣe·’ĕ·ṣā·’e·ḵā כְּעֵ֣שֶׂב like the grass kə·‘ê·śeḇ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Job 5:26 תָּב֣וֹא You will come tā·ḇō·w אֱלֵי־ to ’ĕ·lê- קָ֑בֶר the grave qā·ḇer בְכֶ֣לַח in full vigor , ḇə·ḵe·laḥ גָּדִ֣ישׁ like a sheaf of grain gā·ḏîš כַּעֲל֖וֹת gathered ka·‘ă·lō·wṯ בְּעִתּֽוֹ׃ in season . bə·‘it·tōw Job 5:27 הִנֵּה־ Indeed , hin·nêh- חֲקַרְנ֥וּהָ we have investigated ḥă·qar·nū·hā זֹ֭את . . . , zōṯ הִ֑יא and it hî כֶּֽן־ is true ! ken- שְׁ֝מָעֶ֗נָּה So hear it mā·‘en·nāh וְאַתָּ֥ה and wə·’at·tāh דַֽע־ know ḏa‘- לָֽךְ׃פ for yourself . ” lāḵ Job 6:1 אִיּ֗וֹב Then Job ’î·yō·wḇ וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ . . . way·yō·mar וַיַּ֥עַן replied : way·ya·‘an Job 6:2 ל֗וּ “ If only lū כַּעְשִׂ֑י my grief ka‘·śî שָׁק֣וֹל could be weighed šā·qō·wl יִשָּׁקֵ֣ל . . . yiš·šā·qêl יִשְׂאוּ־ and placed yiś·’ū- יָֽחַד׃ with yā·ḥaḏ וְהַיָּתִי my calamity wə·hay·yå̄·ṯī בְּֽמֹאזְנַ֥יִם on the scales . bə·mō·zə·na·yim Job 6:3 כִּֽי־ For kî- עַתָּ֗ה then ‘at·tāh יִכְבָּ֑ד it would outweigh yiḵ·bāḏ מֵח֣וֹל the sand mê·ḥō·wl יַמִּ֣ים of the seas — yam·mîm עַל־ no wonder ‘al- כֵּ֝֗ן . . . kên דְּבָרַ֥י my words də·ḇā·ray לָֽעוּ׃ have been rash . lā·‘ū Job 6:4 כִּ֤י For kî חִצֵּ֪י the arrows ḥiṣ·ṣê שַׁדַּ֡י of the Almighty šad·day עִמָּדִ֗י have pierced me ; ‘im·mā·ḏî אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer רוּחִ֑י my spirit rū·ḥî שֹׁתָ֣ה drinks in šō·ṯāh חֲ֭מָתָם their poison ; ḥă·mā·ṯām בִּעוּתֵ֖י the terrors bi·‘ū·ṯê אֱל֣וֹהַּ of God ’ĕ·lō·w·ah יַֽעַרְכֽוּנִי׃ are arrayed against me . ya·‘ar·ḵū·nî
