מַעְשַׂ֧ר a tenth ma‘·śar הַדָּגָ֛ן of the grain , had·dā·ḡān וְהַתִּיר֥וֹשׁ new wine , wə·hat·tî·rō·wōš וְהַיִּצְהָ֖ר and oil wə·hay·yiṣ·hār לָאוֹצָרֽוֹת׃ into the storerooms . lā·’ō·w·ṣā·rō·wṯ Nehemiah 13:13 וָאוֹצְרָ֣ה I appointed as treasurers wā·’ō·wṣ·rāh עַל־ over ‘al- א֠וֹצָרוֹת the storerooms ’ō·w·ṣā·rō·wṯ שֶׁלֶמְיָ֨ה Shelemiah še·lem·yāh הַכֹּהֵ֜ן the priest , hak·kō·hên וְצָד֣וֹק Zadok wə·ṣā·ḏō·wq הַסּוֹפֵ֗ר the scribe , has·sō·w·p̄êr וּפְדָיָה֙ and Pedaiah ū·p̄ə·ḏā·yāh מִן־ of min- הַלְוִיִּ֔ם the Levites , hal·wî·yim חָנָ֥ן with Hanan ḥā·nān בֶּן־ son ben- זַכּ֖וּר of Zaccur , zak·kūr בֶּן־ the son ben- מַתַּנְיָ֑ה of Mattaniah , mat·tan·yāh וְעַל־ to assist wə·‘al- יָדָ֔ם them , yā·ḏām כִּ֤י because kî נֶחְשָׁ֔בוּ they were considered neḥ·šā·ḇū נֶאֱמָנִים֙ trustworthy . ne·’ĕ·mā·nîm וַעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם They were responsible for wa·‘ă·lê·hem לַחֲלֹ֥ק distributing the supplies la·ḥă·lōq לַאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃פ to their fellow [Levites] . la·’ă·ḥê·hem Nehemiah 13:14 זָכְרָה־ Remember zā·ḵə·rāh- לִּ֥י me lî עַל־ for ‘al- זֹ֑את this , zōṯ אֱלֹהַ֖י O my God , ’ĕ·lō·hay וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- תֶּ֣מַח blot out te·maḥ חֲסָדַ֗י my deeds of loving devotion ḥă·sā·ḏay אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֛יתִי - ‘ā·śî·ṯî בְּבֵ֥ית for the house bə·ḇêṯ אֱלֹהַ֖י of my God ’ĕ·lō·hay וּבְמִשְׁמָרָֽיו׃ and for its services . ū·ḇə·miš·mā·rāw Nehemiah 13:15 הָהֵ֡מָּה In those hā·hêm·māh בַּיָּמִ֣ים days bay·yā·mîm רָאִ֣יתִי I saw rā·’î·ṯî בִֽיהוּדָ֣ה׀ people in Judah ḇî·hū·ḏāh דֹּֽרְכִֽים־ treading dō·rə·ḵîm- גִּתּ֣וֹת׀ winepresses git·tō·wṯ בַּשַּׁבָּ֡ת on the Sabbath baš·šab·bāṯ וּמְבִיאִ֣ים and bringing in ū·mə·ḇî·’îm הָעֲרֵמ֣וֹת grain hā·‘ă·rê·mō·wṯ וְֽעֹמְסִ֪ים and loading it wə·‘ō·mə·sîm עַל־ on ‘al- הַחֲמֹרִ֟ים donkeys , ha·ḥă·mō·rîm וְאַף־ along with wə·’ap̄- יַ֜יִן wine , ya·yin עֲנָבִ֤ים grapes , ‘ă·nā·ḇîm וּתְאֵנִים֙ and figs . ū·ṯə·’ê·nîm וְכָל־ All kinds wə·ḵāl מַשָּׂ֔א of goods maś·śā וּמְבִיאִ֥ים were being brought ū·mə·ḇî·’îm יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם into Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת on the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ בְּי֣וֹם day . bə·yō·wm וָאָעִ֕יד So I warned them wā·’ā·‘îḏ מִכְרָ֥ם against selling miḵ·rām צָֽיִד׃ food ṣā·yiḏ בְּי֖וֹם on that day . bə·yō·wm Nehemiah 13:16 וְהַצֹּרִים֙ Additionally, [men of] Tyre wə·haṣ·ṣō·rîm יָ֣שְׁבוּ who lived yā·šə·ḇū בָ֔הּ there ḇāh מְבִיאִ֥ים were importing mə·ḇî·’îm דָּ֖אג fish dāḡ וְכָל־ and all kinds wə·ḵāl מֶ֑כֶר of merchandise me·ḵer וּמֹכְרִ֧ים and selling them ū·mō·ḵə·rîm בַּשַּׁבָּ֛ת on the Sabbath baš·šab·bāṯ לִבְנֵ֥י to the people liḇ·nê יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem . ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim Nehemiah 13:17 וָאָרִ֕יבָה Then I rebuked wā·’ā·rî·ḇāh אֵ֖ת . . . ’êṯ חֹרֵ֣י the nobles ḥō·rê יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וָאֹמְרָ֣ה and asked wā·’ō·mə·rāh לָהֶ֗ם , lā·hem
