לֹ֥א did not lō בָצֵֽקוּ׃ swell . ḇā·ṣê·qū Nehemiah 9:22 וַתִּתֵּ֨ן You gave wat·tit·tên לָהֶ֤ם them lā·hem מַמְלָכוֹת֙ kingdoms mam·lā·ḵō·wṯ וַעֲמָמִ֔ים and peoples wa·‘ă·mā·mîm וַֽתַּחְלְקֵ֖ם and allotted wat·taḥ·lə·qêm לְפֵאָ֑ה to them every corner of the land . lə·p̄ê·’āh וַיִּֽירְשׁ֞וּ So they took way·yî·rə·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ סִיח֗וֹן of Sihon sî·ḥō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אֶ֙רֶץ֙ ’e·reṣ מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ חֶשְׁבּ֔וֹן of Heshbon ḥeš·bō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אֶ֖רֶץ and ’e·reṣ ע֥וֹג of Og ‘ō·wḡ מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- הַבָּשָֽׁן׃ of Bashan . hab·bā·šān Nehemiah 9:23 הִרְבִּ֔יתָ You multiplied hir·bî·ṯā וּבְנֵיהֶ֣ם their descendants ū·ḇə·nê·hem כְּכֹכְבֵ֖י like the stars kə·ḵō·ḵə·ḇê הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם of heaven haš·šā·mā·yim וַתְּבִיאֵם֙ and brought them wat·tə·ḇî·’êm אֶל־ to ’el- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אָמַ֥רְתָּ You had told ’ā·mar·tā לַאֲבֹתֵיהֶ֖ם their fathers la·’ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem לָב֥וֹא to enter lā·ḇō·w לָרָֽשֶׁת׃ and possess . lā·rā·šeṯ Nehemiah 9:24 הַבָּנִים֙ So their descendants hab·bā·nîm וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ went in way·yā·ḇō·’ū וַיִּֽירְשׁ֣וּ and possessed way·yî·rə·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ the land ; hā·’ā·reṣ וַתַּכְנַ֨ע You subdued wat·taḵ·na‘ לִפְנֵיהֶ֜ם before them lip̄·nê·hem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַכְּנַ֣עֲנִ֔ים the Canaanites hak·kə·na·‘ă·nîm יֹשְׁבֵ֤י dwelling yō·šə·ḇê הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ in the land . hā·’ā·reṣ וַֽתִּתְּנֵ֖ם You delivered wat·tit·tə·nêm בְּיָדָ֑ם into their hands bə·yā·ḏām וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מַלְכֵיהֶם֙ the kings mal·ḵê·hem וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- עַֽמְמֵ֣י peoples ‘am·mê הָאָ֔רֶץ of the land , hā·’ā·reṣ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת to do la·‘ă·śō·wṯ בָּהֶ֖ם with them bā·hem כִּרְצוֹנָֽם׃ as they wished . kir·ṣō·w·nām Nehemiah 9:25 וַֽיִּלְכְּד֞וּ They captured way·yil·kə·ḏū עָרִ֣ים fortified cities ‘ā·rîm בְּצֻרוֹת֮ . . . bə·ṣu·rō·wṯ שְׁמֵנָה֒ and fertile šə·mê·nāh וַאֲדָמָ֣ה land wa·’ă·ḏā·māh וַיִּֽירְשׁ֡וּ and took way·yî·rə·šū בָּתִּ֣ים houses bāt·tîm מְלֵֽאִים־ full mə·lê·’îm- כָּל־ of all kāl- ט֠וּב goods , ṭūḇ בֹּר֨וֹת wells bō·rō·wṯ חֲצוּבִ֜ים [already] dug , ḥă·ṣū·ḇîm כְּרָמִ֧ים vineyards , kə·rā·mîm וְזֵיתִ֛ים olive groves , wə·zê·ṯîm מַאֲכָ֖ל and fruit ma·’ă·ḵāl וְעֵ֥ץ trees wə·‘êṣ לָרֹ֑ב in abundance . lā·rōḇ וַיֹּאכְל֤וּ So they ate way·yō·ḵə·lū וַֽיִּשְׂבְּעוּ֙ and were filled ; way·yiś·bə·‘ū וַיַּשְׁמִ֔ינוּ they grew fat way·yaš·mî·nū וַיִּֽתְעַדְּנ֖וּ and delighted way·yiṯ·‘ad·də·nū הַגָּדֽוֹל׃ in Your great hag·gā·ḏō·wl בְּטוּבְךָ֥ goodness . bə·ṭū·ḇə·ḵā Nehemiah 9:26 וַיַּמְר֨וּ But they were disobedient way·yam·rū וַֽיִּמְרְד֜וּ and rebelled way·yim·rə·ḏū בָּ֗ךְ against You ; bāḵ וַיַּשְׁלִ֤כוּ they flung way·yaš·li·ḵū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תּוֹרָֽתְךָ֙ Your law tō·w·rā·ṯə·ḵā אַחֲרֵ֣י behind ’a·ḥă·rê גַוָּ֔ם their backs . ḡaw·wām
