מְחַיֶּ֣ה give life mə·ḥay·yeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כֻּלָּ֑ם to all things , kul·lām וּצְבָ֥א and the host ū·ṣə·ḇā הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם of heaven haš·šā·ma·yim מִשְׁתַּחֲוִֽים׃ worships miš·ta·ḥă·wîm לְךָ֥ You . lə·ḵā Nehemiah 9:7 אַתָּה־ You ’at·tāh- הוּא֙ . . . hū יְהוָ֣ה are YHWH , Yah·weh הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים the God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer בָּחַ֙רְתָּ֙ chose bā·ḥar·tā בְּאַבְרָ֔ם Abram , bə·’aḇ·rām וְהוֹצֵאת֖וֹ who brought him wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯōw מֵא֣וּר out of Ur mê·’ūr כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים of the Chaldeans kaś·dîm וְשַׂ֥מְתָּ and gave him wə·śam·tā שְּׁמ֖וֹ the name šə·mōw אַבְרָהָֽם׃ Abraham . ’aḇ·rā·hām Nehemiah 9:8 וּמָצָ֣אתָ You found ū·mā·ṣā·ṯā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְבָבוֹ֮ his heart lə·ḇā·ḇōw נֶאֱמָ֣ן faithful ne·’ĕ·mān לְפָנֶיךָ֒ before You , lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā וְכָר֨וֹת and made wə·ḵā·rō·wṯ הַבְּרִ֗ית a covenant hab·bə·rîṯ עִמּ֜וֹ with him ‘im·mōw לָתֵ֡ת to give lā·ṯêṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶרֶץ֩ the land ’e·reṣ הַכְּנַעֲנִ֨י of the Canaanites hak·kə·na·‘ă·nî הַחִתִּ֜י and Hittites , ha·ḥit·tî הָאֱמֹרִ֧י of the Amorites hā·’ĕ·mō·rî וְהַפְּרִזִּ֛י and Perizzites , wə·hap·pə·riz·zî וְהַיְבוּסִ֥י of the Jebusites wə·hay·ḇū·sî וְהַגִּרְגָּשִׁ֖י and Girgashites — wə·hag·gir·gā·šî לָתֵ֣ת to give it lā·ṯêṯ לְזַרְע֑וֹ to his descendants . lə·zar·‘ōw וַתָּ֙קֶם֙ You have kept wat·tā·qem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּבָרֶ֔יךָ Your promise , də·ḇā·re·ḵā כִּ֥י because kî אָֽתָּה׃ You ’āt·tāh צַדִּ֖יק are righteous . ṣad·dîq Nehemiah 9:9 וַתֵּ֛רֶא You saw wat·tê·re אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֳנִ֥י the affliction ‘o·nî אֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ of our fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם in Egypt ; bə·miṣ·rā·yim וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ You heard šā·ma‘·tā זַעֲקָתָ֥ם their cry za·‘ă·qā·ṯām עַל־ at ‘al- סֽוּף׃ the Red sūp̄ יַם־ Sea . yam- Nehemiah 9:10 וַ֠תִּתֵּן You performed wat·tit·tên אֹתֹ֨ת signs ’ō·ṯōṯ וּמֹֽפְתִ֜ים and wonders ū·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm בְּפַרְעֹ֤ה against Pharaoh , bə·p̄ar·‘ōh וּבְכָל־ all ū·ḇə·ḵāl עֲבָדָיו֙ his officials , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וּבְכָל־ and all ū·ḇə·ḵāl עַ֣ם the people ‘am אַרְצ֔וֹ of his land , ’ar·ṣōw כִּ֣י for kî יָדַ֔עְתָּ You knew yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּ֥י - kî הֵזִ֖ידוּ they had acted with arrogance hê·zî·ḏū עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם against [our fathers] . ‘ă·lê·hem וַתַּֽעַשׂ־ You made wat·ta·‘aś- שֵׁ֖ם a name šêm לְךָ֥ for Yourself lə·ḵā הַזֶּֽה׃ that endures to this haz·zeh כְּהַיּ֥וֹם day . kə·hay·yō·wm Nehemiah 9:11 בָּקַ֣עְתָּ You divided bā·qa‘·tā וְהַיָּם֙ the sea wə·hay·yām לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם before them , lip̄·nê·hem וַיַּֽעַבְר֥וּ and they crossed way·ya·‘aḇ·rū בְתוֹךְ־ through ḇə·ṯō·wḵ- הַיָּ֖ם it hay·yām בַּיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה on dry ground . bay·yab·bā·šāh וְֽאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הִשְׁלַ֧כְתָּ You hurled hiš·laḵ·tā רֹ֨דְפֵיהֶ֜ם their pursuers rō·ḏə·p̄ê·hem
