נֵכָ֑ר . . . , nê·ḵār וַיַּעַמְד֗וּ and they stood way·ya·‘am·ḏū וַיִּתְוַדּוּ֙ and confessed way·yiṯ·wad·dū עַל־ . . . ‘al- חַטֹּ֣אתֵיהֶ֔ם their sins ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯê·hem וַעֲוֺנ֖וֹת and the iniquities wa·‘ă·wō·nō·wṯ אֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ of their fathers . ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem Nehemiah 9:3 וַיָּק֙וּמוּ֙ While they stood way·yā·qū·mū עַל־ in ‘al- עָמְדָ֔ם their places , ‘ā·mə·ḏām וַֽיִּקְרְא֗וּ they read way·yiq·rə·’ū בְּסֵ֨פֶר from the Book bə·sê·p̄er תּוֹרַ֧ת of the Law tō·w·raṯ יְהוָ֛ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם their God ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem רְבִעִ֣ית for a quarter rə·ḇi·‘îṯ הַיּ֑וֹם of the day , hay·yō·wm וּרְבִעִית֙ and they spent another quarter of the day ū·rə·ḇi·‘îṯ מִתְוַדִּ֣ים in confession miṯ·wad·dîm וּמִֽשְׁתַּחֲוִ֔ים and worship ū·miš·ta·ḥă·wîm לַיהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃פ their God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Nehemiah 9:4 הַלְוִיִּ֗ם And the Levites — hal·wî·yim יֵשׁ֨וּעַ Jeshua , yê·šū·a‘ וּבָנִ֜י Bani , ū·ḇā·nî קַדְמִיאֵ֧ל Kadmiel , qaḏ·mî·’êl שְׁבַנְיָ֛ה Shebaniah , šə·ḇan·yāh בֻּנִּ֥י Bunni , bun·nî שֵׁרֵבְיָ֖ה Sherebiah , šê·rê·ḇə·yāh בָּנִ֣י Bani , bā·nî כְנָ֑נִי and Chenani — ḵə·nā·nî וַיָּ֜קָם stood way·yā·qām עַֽל־ on ‘al- מַֽעֲלֵ֣ה the raised platform ma·‘ă·lêh וַֽיִּזְעֲקוּ֙ and cried out way·yiz·‘ă·qū גָּד֔וֹל in a loud gā·ḏō·wl בְּק֣וֹל voice bə·qō·wl אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ their God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Nehemiah 9:5 הַלְוִיִּ֡ם Then the Levites — hal·wî·yim יֵשׁ֣וּעַ Jeshua , yê·šū·a‘ וְ֠קַדְמִיאֵל Kadmiel , wə·qaḏ·mî·’êl בָּנִ֨י Bani , bā·nî חֲשַׁבְנְיָ֜ה Hashabneiah , ḥă·šaḇ·nə·yāh שֵׁרֵֽבְיָ֤ה Sherebiah , šê·rê·ḇə·yāh הֽוֹדִיָּה֙ Hodiah , hō·w·ḏî·yāh שְׁבַנְיָ֣ה Shebaniah , šə·ḇan·yāh פְתַֽחְיָ֔ה and Pethahiah — p̄ə·ṯaḥ·yāh וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ said , way·yō·mə·rū ק֗וּמוּ “ Stand up qū·mū בָּרֲכוּ֙ [and] bless bā·ră·ḵū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem מִן־ from min- הָעוֹלָ֖ם everlasting hā·‘ō·w·lām עַד־ to ‘aḏ- הָעוֹלָ֑ם everlasting : hā·‘ō·w·lām וִיבָֽרְכוּ֙ Blessed be wî·ḇā·rə·ḵū כְּבוֹדֶ֔ךָ Your glorious kə·ḇō·w·ḏe·ḵā שֵׁ֣ם name , šêm וּמְרוֹמַ֥ם and may it be exalted ū·mə·rō·w·mam עַל־ above ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- בְּרָכָ֖ה blessing bə·rā·ḵāh וּתְהִלָּֽה׃ and praise . ū·ṯə·hil·lāh Nehemiah 9:6 אַתָּה־ You ’at·tāh- ה֣וּא . . . hū לְבַדֶּךָ֒ alone lə·ḇad·de·ḵā אַתְּ . . . ʾat יְהוָה֮ are YHWH . Yah·weh עָשִׂ֡יתָ You created ‘ā·śî·ṯā אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הַשָּׁמַיִם֩ the heavens , haš·šā·ma·yim שְׁמֵ֨י the highest heavens šə·mê הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם . . . haš·šā·ma·yim וְכָל־ with all wə·ḵāl צְבָאָ֗ם their host , ṣə·ḇā·’ām הָאָ֜רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ is on it , ‘ā·le·hā הַיַּמִּים֙ the seas hay·yam·mîm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֣ר that is ’ă·šer בָּהֶ֔ם in them . bā·hem וְאַתָּ֖ה You wə·’at·tāh
