Ezra 2:70 הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים So the priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm וְ֠הַלְוִיִּם the Levites , wə·hal·wî·yim וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֧ים the singers , wə·ham·šō·rə·rîm וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִ֛ים the gatekeepers , wə·haš·šō·w·‘ă·rîm וְהַנְּתִינִ֖ים and the temple servants , wə·han·nə·ṯî·nîm וּֽמִן־ along with some ū·min- הָעָ֞ם of the people , hā·‘ām וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ settled way·yê·šə·ḇū בְּעָרֵיהֶ֑ם in their own towns ; bə·‘ā·rê·hem וְכָל־ and the rest wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl בְּעָרֵיהֶֽם׃ס settled [in their towns] . bə·‘ā·rê·hem Ezra 3:1 הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י By the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î הַחֹ֣דֶשׁ month , ha·ḥō·ḏeš וּבְנֵ֥י the Israelites ū·ḇə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּגַּע֙ had settled way·yig·ga‘ בֶּעָרִ֑יםס in their towns , bɛ·ʿå̄·rī·ms הָעָ֛ם and the people hā·‘ām וַיֵּאָסְפ֥וּ assembled way·yê·’ā·sə·p̄ū אֶחָ֖ד as one ’e·ḥāḏ כְּאִ֥ישׁ man kə·’îš אֶל־ in ’el- יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ס Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim Ezra 3:2 יֵשׁ֨וּעַ Then Jeshua yê·šū·a‘ בֶּן־ son ben- יֽוֹצָדָ֜ק of Jozadak yō·w·ṣā·ḏāq וְאֶחָ֣יו and his fellow wə·’e·ḥāw הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm וּזְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל along with Zerubbabel ū·zə·rub·bā·ḇel בֶּן־ son ben- שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙ of Shealtiel šə·’al·tî·’êl וְאֶחָ֔יו and his associates , wə·’e·ḥāw וַיָּקָם֩ began way·yā·qām וַיִּבְנ֕וּ to build way·yiḇ·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִזְבַּ֖ח the altar miz·baḥ אֱלֹהֵ֣י of the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לְהַעֲל֤וֹת to sacrifice lə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ עֹל֔וֹת burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ עָלָיו֙ on it , ‘ā·lāw כַּכָּת֕וּב as it is written kak·kā·ṯūḇ בְּתוֹרַ֖ת in the Law bə·ṯō·w·raṯ מֹשֶׁ֥ה of Moses mō·šeh אִישׁ־ the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm Ezra 3:3 וַיָּכִ֤ינוּ They set up way·yā·ḵî·nū הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ עַל־ on ‘al- מְכ֣וֹנֹתָ֔יו its foundation mə·ḵō·w·nō·ṯāw וַיַּעַל and sacrificed way·ya·ʿal עָלָ֤יו . . . ‘ā·lāw עֹלוֹת֙ burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם on it ‘ă·lê·hem לַֽיהוָ֔ה to YHWH — Yah·weh לַבֹּ֥קֶר [both] the morning lab·bō·qer וְלָעָֽרֶב׃ and evening wə·lā·‘ā·reḇ עֹל֖וֹת burnt offerings — ‘ō·lō·wṯ כִּ֚י even though kî בְּאֵימָ֣ה they feared bə·’ê·māh מֵעַמֵּ֖י the people mê·‘am·mê הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת of the land . hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ Ezra 3:4 וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ They also celebrated way·ya·‘ă·śū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חַ֥ג the Feast ḥaḡ הַסֻּכּ֖וֹת of Tabernacles has·suk·kō·wṯ כַּכָּת֑וּב in accordance with what is written , kak·kā·ṯūḇ וְעֹלַ֨ת and they offered burnt offerings wə·‘ō·laṯ י֤וֹם daily yō·wm בְּיוֹם֙ . . . bə·yō·wm בְּמִסְפָּ֔ר based on the number bə·mis·pār כְּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט prescribed kə·miš·paṭ דְּבַר־ . . . də·ḇar- י֥וֹם for each day yō·wm בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃ . . . . bə·yō·w·mōw Ezra 3:5 וְאַחֲרֵיכֵ֞ן After that , wə·’a·ḥă·rê·ḵên תָּמִיד֙ they presented the regular tā·mîḏ עֹלַ֤ת burnt offerings ‘ō·laṯ וְלֶ֣חֳדָשִׁ֔ים and [those] for New Moons wə·le·ḥo·ḏā·šîm וּלְכָל־ and for all ū·lə·ḵāl- מוֹעֲדֵ֥י the appointed mō·w·‘ă·ḏê
