כַּאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ like your fathers ka·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem וְכַ֣אֲחֵיכֶ֔ם and brothers wə·ḵa·’ă·ḥê·ḵem אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer מָעֲל֔וּ were unfaithful mā·‘ă·lū בַּיהוָ֖ה to YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם of their fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem וַיִּתְּנֵ֣ם so that He made them way·yit·tə·nêm לְשַׁמָּ֔ה an object of horror , lə·šam·māh כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר as ka·’ă·šer אַתֶּ֥ם you ’at·tem רֹאִֽים׃ can see . rō·’îm 2 Chronicles 30:8 עַתָּ֕ה Now ‘at·tāh אַל־ do not ’al- תַּקְשׁ֥וּ stiffen taq·šū עָרְפְּכֶ֖ם your necks ‘ā·rə·pə·ḵem כַּאֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם as your fathers [did] . ka·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem תְּנוּ־ Submit tə·nū- יָ֣ד . . . yāḏ לַיהוָ֗ה to YHWH Yah·weh וּבֹ֤אוּ and come ū·ḇō·’ū לְמִקְדָּשׁוֹ֙ to His sanctuary , lə·miq·dā·šōw אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ’ă·šer הִקְדִּ֣ישׁ He has consecrated hiq·dîš לְעוֹלָ֔ם forever . lə·‘ō·w·lām וְעִבְדוּ֙ Serve wə·‘iḇ·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם your God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem חֲר֥וֹן so that His fierce anger ḥă·rō·wn אַפּֽוֹ׃ . . . ’ap·pōw וְיָשֹׁ֥ב will turn away wə·yā·šōḇ מִכֶּ֖ם from you . mik·kem 2 Chronicles 30:9 כִּ֣י For kî בְשׁוּבְכֶ֞ם if you return ḇə·šū·ḇə·ḵem עַל־ to ‘al- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֲחֵיכֶ֨ם your brothers ’ă·ḥê·ḵem וּבְנֵיכֶ֤ם and sons ū·ḇə·nê·ḵem לְרַחֲמִים֙ will receive mercy lə·ra·ḥă·mîm לִפְנֵ֣י in the presence lip̄·nê שֽׁוֹבֵיהֶ֔ם of their captors šō·w·ḇê·hem וְלָשׁ֖וּב and will return wə·lā·šūḇ הַזֹּ֑את to this haz·zōṯ לָאָ֣רֶץ land . lā·’ā·reṣ כִּֽי־ For kî- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֔ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem חַנּ֤וּן is gracious ḥan·nūn וְרַחוּם֙ and merciful ; wə·ra·ḥūm וְלֹא־ He will not wə·lō- פָּנִים֙ turn His face pā·nîm יָסִ֤יר away yā·sîr מִכֶּ֔ם from you mik·kem אִם־ if ’im- תָּשׁ֖וּבוּ you return tā·šū·ḇū אֵלָֽיו׃פ to Him .” ’ê·lāw 2 Chronicles 30:10 וַיִּֽהְי֨וּ And way·yih·yū הָרָצִ֜ים the couriers hā·rā·ṣîm עֹבְרִ֨ים traveled ‘ō·ḇə·rîm מֵעִ֧יר׀ from city mê·‘îr לָעִ֛יר to city lā·‘îr בְּאֶֽרֶץ־ through the land bə·’e·reṣ- אֶפְרַ֥יִם of Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה and Manasseh ū·mə·naš·šeh וְעַד־ as wə·‘aḏ- זְבֻל֑וּן far as Zebulun ; zə·ḇu·lūn וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ . . . way·yih·yū מַשְׂחִיקִ֣ים but the people scorned maś·ḥî·qîm עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם . . . ‘ă·lê·hem וּמַלְעִגִ֖ים and mocked ū·mal·‘i·ḡîm בָּֽם׃ them . bām 2 Chronicles 30:11 אַךְ־ Nevertheless , ’aḵ- אֲנָשִׁ֛ים some ’ă·nā·šîm מֵאָשֵׁ֥ר from Asher , mê·’ā·šêr וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה Manasseh , ū·mə·naš·šeh וּמִזְּבֻל֑וּן and Zebulun ū·miz·zə·ḇu·lūn נִֽכְנְע֔וּ humbled niḵ·nə·‘ū וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ themselves and came way·yā·ḇō·’ū לִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ to Jerusalem . lî·rū·šā·lim 2 Chronicles 30:12 גַּ֣ם Moreover , gam יַ֣ד the power yaḏ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm הָֽיְתָה֙ was hā·yə·ṯāh לָהֶ֖ם on the people lā·hem
