אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבוֹתָֽם׃ of their fathers . ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām 2 Chronicles 28:7 זִכְרִ֣י׀ Zichri , ziḵ·rî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- גִּבּ֣וֹר a mighty man gib·bō·wr אֶפְרַ֗יִם of Ephraim , ’ep̄·ra·yim וַֽיַּהֲרֹ֞ג killed way·ya·hă·rōḡ מַעֲשֵׂיָ֙הוּ֙ Maaseiah ma·‘ă·śê·yā·hū בֶּן־ the son ben- הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ of the king , ham·me·leḵ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- עַזְרִיקָ֖ם Azrikam ‘az·rî·qām נְגִ֣יד the governor nə·ḡîḏ הַבָּ֑יִת of the palace , hab·bā·yiṯ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- אֶלְקָנָ֖ה and Elkanah ’el·qā·nāh מִשְׁנֵ֥ה the second miš·nêh הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ס to the king . ham·me·leḵ 2 Chronicles 28:8 בְנֵֽי־ Then the Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl מָאתַ֣יִם took 200,000 mā·ṯa·yim אֶ֗לֶף . . . ’e·lep̄ וַיִּשְׁבּוּ֩ captives way·yiš·bū מֵֽאֲחֵיהֶ֜ם from their kinsmen — mê·’ă·ḥê·hem נָשִׁים֙ women , nā·šîm בָּנִ֣ים sons , bā·nîm וּבָנ֔וֹת and daughters . ū·ḇā·nō·wṯ וְגַם־ They also wə·ḡam- בָּזְז֣וּ carried off bā·zə·zū מֵהֶ֑ם - mê·hem רָ֖ב a great deal of rāḇ שָׁלָ֥ל plunder šā·lāl וַיָּבִ֥יאוּ and brought way·yā·ḇî·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשָּׁלָ֖ל it haš·šā·lāl לְשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ס to Samaria . lə·šō·mə·rō·wn 2 Chronicles 28:9 נָבִ֥יא But a prophet nā·ḇî לַֽיהוָה֮ of YHWH Yah·weh שְׁמוֹ֒ named šə·mōw עֹדֵ֣ד Oded ‘ō·ḏêḏ הָיָ֨ה was hā·yāh וְ֠שָׁם there , wə·šām וַיֵּצֵ֗א and he went out way·yê·ṣê לִפְנֵ֤י to meet lip̄·nê הַצָּבָא֙ the army haṣ·ṣā·ḇā הַבָּ֣א that returned hab·bā לְשֹׁמְר֔וֹן to Samaria . lə·šō·mə·rō·wn הִ֠נֵּה “ Look , ” hin·nêh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he said way·yō·mer לָהֶ֗ם to them , lā·hem בַּחֲמַ֨ת “ because of His wrath ba·ḥă·maṯ עַל־ against ‘al- יְהוּדָ֖ה Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh יְהוָ֧ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽי־ the God ’ĕ·lō·hê- אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם of your fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem נְתָנָ֣ם has delivered them nə·ṯā·nām בְּיֶדְכֶ֑ם into your hand . bə·yeḏ·ḵem וַתַּֽהַרְגוּ־ But you have slaughtered wat·ta·har·ḡū- בָ֣ם them ḇām בְזַ֔עַף in a rage ḇə·za·‘ap̄ עַ֥ד ‘aḏ הִגִּֽיעַ׃ [that] reaches up hig·gî·a‘ לַשָּׁמַ֖יִם to heaven . laš·šā·ma·yim 2 Chronicles 28:10 וְ֠עַתָּה And now wə·‘at·tāh אַתֶּ֣ם you ’at·tem אֹמְרִ֔ים intend ’ō·mə·rîm לִכְבֹּ֛שׁ to reduce to slavery liḵ·bōš לָכֶ֑ם lā·ḵem לַעֲבָדִ֥ים the men la·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm וְלִשְׁפָח֖וֹת and women wə·liš·p̄ā·ḥō·wṯ בְּנֵֽי־ - bə·nê- יְהוּדָ֤ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ and Jerusalem . wî·rū·šā·lim אַתֶּם֙ But are you ’at·tem עִמָּכֶ֣ם . . . ‘im·mā·ḵem הֲלֹ֤א not hă·lō רַק־ also raq- אֲשָׁמ֔וֹת guilty ’ă·šā·mō·wṯ לַיהוָ֖ה before YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God ? ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem 2 Chronicles 28:11 וְעַתָּ֣ה Now therefore , wə·‘at·tāh שְׁמָע֔וּנִי listen to me šə·mā·‘ū·nî
