הַיּֽוֹם׃ this day . hay·yō·wm 2 Chronicles 20:27 כָּל־ Then all kāl- אִ֨ישׁ the men ’îš יְהוּדָ֤ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ and Jerusalem , wî·rū·šā·lim וַ֠יָּשֻׁבוּ - way·yā·šu·ḇū וִֽיהוֹשָׁפָ֣ט with Jehoshaphat wî·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ בְּרֹאשָׁ֔ם at their head , bə·rō·šām לָשׁ֥וּב returned lā·šūḇ בְּשִׂמְחָ֑ה joyfully bə·śim·ḥāh אֶל־ to ’el- יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim כִּֽי־ for kî- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh שִׂמְּחָ֥ם had made them rejoice śim·mə·ḥām מֵֽאוֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃ over their enemies . mê·’ō·wy·ḇê·hem 2 Chronicles 20:28 וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ So they entered way·yā·ḇō·’ū יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim אֶל־ and went into ’el- בֵּ֖ית the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh בִּנְבָלִ֥ים with harps , bin·ḇā·lîm וּבְכִנֹּר֖וֹת lyres , ū·ḇə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ וּבַחֲצֹצְר֑וֹת and trumpets . ū·ḇa·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 20:29 פַּ֣חַד And the fear pa·ḥaḏ אֱלֹהִ֔ים of God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיְהִי֙ came way·hî עַ֖ל upon ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- מַמְלְכ֣וֹת the kingdoms mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת of the lands hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ בְּשָׁמְעָ֕ם when they heard bə·šā·mə·‘ām כִּ֚י that kî יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh נִלְחַ֣ם had fought nil·ḥam עִ֖ם against ‘im אוֹיְבֵ֥י the enemies ’ō·wy·ḇê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl 2 Chronicles 20:30 יְהוֹשָׁפָ֑ט Then Jehoshaphat’s yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ מַלְכ֣וּת kingdom mal·ḵūṯ וַתִּשְׁקֹ֖ט was at peace , wat·tiš·qōṭ אֱלֹהָ֖יו for his God ’ĕ·lō·hāw וַיָּ֧נַֽח had given him rest way·yā·naḥ ל֦וֹ lōw מִסָּבִֽיב׃פ on every side . mis·sā·ḇîḇ 2 Chronicles 20:31 יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט So Jehoshaphat yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ עַל־ over ‘al- יְהוּדָ֑ה Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh שְׁלֹשִׁים֩ He [was] thirty-five šə·lō·šîm וְחָמֵ֨שׁ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֜ה . . . šā·nāh בְּמָלְכ֗וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֣ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים twenty-five wə·‘eś·rîm וְחָמֵ֤שׁ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš שָׁנָה֙ years . šā·nāh אִמּ֔וֹ His mother’s ’im·mōw וְשֵׁ֣ם name wə·šêm עֲזוּבָ֖ה was Azubah ‘ă·zū·ḇāh בַּת־ daughter baṯ- שִׁלְחִֽי׃ of Shilhi . šil·ḥî 2 Chronicles 20:32 וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ And [Jehoshaphat] walked way·yê·leḵ בְּדֶ֛רֶךְ in the way bə·ḏe·reḵ אָבִ֥יו of his father ’ā·ḇîw אָסָ֖א Asa ’ā·sā וְלֹא־ and did not wə·lō- סָ֣ר turn away sār מִמֶּ֑נָּה from it ; mim·men·nāh לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת he did la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הַיָּשָׁ֖ר what was right hay·yā·šār בְּעֵינֵ֥י in the eyes bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH .
