אֵלָיו֙ to him , ’ê·lāw עַד־ “ How many ‘aḏ- כַּמֶּ֥ה . . . kam·meh פְעָמִ֖ים times p̄ə·‘ā·mîm אֲנִ֣י must I ’ă·nî מַשְׁבִּיעֶ֑ךָ make you swear maš·bî·‘e·ḵā אֲ֠שֶׁר - ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ not lō- תְדַבֵּ֥ר to tell me ṯə·ḏab·bêr אֵלַ֛י . . . ’ê·lay רַק־ anything but raq- אֱמֶ֖ת the truth ’ĕ·meṯ בְּשֵׁ֥ם in the name bə·šêm יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH ?” Yah·weh 2 Chronicles 18:16 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר So Micaiah declared : way·yō·mer רָאִ֤יתִי “ I saw rā·’î·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yiś·rā·’êl נְפוֹצִ֣ים scattered nə·p̄ō·w·ṣîm עַל־ on ‘al- הֶֽהָרִ֔ים the hills he·hā·rîm כַּצֹּ֕אן like sheep kaṣ·ṣōn אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אֵין־ without ’ên- לָהֶ֖ן lā·hen רֹעֶ֑ה a shepherd . rō·‘eh יְהוָה֙ And YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said , way·yō·mer לָאֵ֔לֶּה ‘ These [people] lā·’êl·leh לֹֽא־ have no lō- אֲדֹנִ֣ים master ; ’ă·ḏō·nîm אִישׁ־ let each one ’îš- יָשׁ֥וּבוּ return yā·šū·ḇū לְבֵית֖וֹ home lə·ḇê·ṯōw בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ in peace . ’” bə·šā·lō·wm 2 Chronicles 18:17 מֶֽלֶךְ־ Then the king me·leḵ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוֹשָׁפָ֑ט Jehoshaphat , yə·hō·wō·šā·p̄āṭ הֲלֹא֙ “ Did I not hă·lō אָמַ֣רְתִּי tell ’ā·mar·tî אֵלֶ֔יךָ you ’ê·le·ḵā לֹא־ that he never lō- יִתְנַבֵּ֥א prophesies yiṯ·nab·bê ט֖וֹב good ṭō·wḇ עָלַ֛י for me , ‘ā·lay כִּ֥י but only kî אִם־ . . . ’im- לְרָֽע׃ס bad ? ” lə·rā‘ 2 Chronicles 18:18 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר Micaiah continued , way·yō·mer לָכֵ֖ן “ Therefore lā·ḵên שִׁמְע֣וּ hear šim·‘ū דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH : Yah·weh רָאִ֤יתִי I saw rā·’î·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh יוֹשֵׁ֣ב sitting yō·wō·šêḇ עַל־ on ‘al- כִּסְא֔וֹ His throne , kis·’ōw וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl צְבָ֤א the host ṣə·ḇā הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ of heaven haš·šā·ma·yim עֹֽמְדִ֔ים standing ‘ō·mə·ḏîm עַל־ on ‘al- יְמִינ֖וֹ His right yə·mî·nōw וּשְׂמֹאלֽוֹ׃ and on His left . ū·śə·mō·lōw 2 Chronicles 18:19 יְהוָ֗ה And YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said , way·yō·mer מִ֤י ‘ Who mî יְפַתֶּה֙ will entice yə·p̄at·teh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַחְאָ֣ב Ahab ’aḥ·’āḇ מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְיַ֕עַל to march up wə·ya·‘al וְיִפֹּ֖ל and fall wə·yip·pōl בְּרָמ֣וֹת at Ramoth-gilead ? ’ bə·rā·mō·wṯ גִּלְעָ֑ד . . . gil·‘āḏ זֶ֚ה And one zeh וַיֹּ֕אמֶר suggested way·yō·mer כָּ֔כָה this , kā·ḵāh וְזֶ֖ה and another wə·zeh אֹמֵ֥ר - ’ō·mêr אֹמֵ֣ר - ’ō·mêr כָּֽכָה׃ that . kā·ḵāh
