2 Chronicles 18:10 צִדְקִיָּ֥הוּ Now Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū בֶֽן־ son ḇen- כְּנַעֲנָ֖ה of Chenaanah kə·na·‘ă·nāh וַיַּ֥עַשׂ had made way·ya·‘aś ל֛וֹ for himself lōw בַרְזֶ֑ל iron ḇar·zel קַרְנֵ֣י horns qar·nê וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ and declared , way·yō·mer כֹּֽה־ “ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar בְּאֵ֛לֶּה ‘ With these bə·’êl·leh תְּנַגַּ֥ח you shall gore tə·nag·gaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲרָ֖ם the Arameans ’ă·rām עַד־ until ‘aḏ- כַּלּוֹתָֽם׃ they are finished off . ’” kal·lō·w·ṯām 2 Chronicles 18:11 וְכָל־ And all wə·ḵāl הַ֨נְּבִאִ֔ים the prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm נִבְּאִ֥ים were prophesying nib·bə·’îm כֵּ֖ן the same , kên לֵאמֹ֑ר saying , lê·mōr עֲלֵ֞ה “ Go up ‘ă·lêh רָמֹ֤ת to Ramoth-gilead rā·mōṯ גִּלְעָד֙ . . . gil·‘āḏ וְהַצְלַ֔ח and prosper , wə·haṣ·laḥ יְהוָ֖ה for YHWH Yah·weh וְנָתַ֥ן will deliver [it] wə·nā·ṯan בְּיַ֥ד into the hand bə·yaḏ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ of the king . ” ham·me·leḵ 2 Chronicles 18:12 וְהַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ Then the messenger wə·ham·mal·’āḵ אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- הָלַ֣ךְ׀ had gone hā·laḵ לִקְרֹ֣א to call liq·rō לְמִיכָ֗יְהוּ Micaiah lə·mî·ḵā·yə·hū דִּבֶּ֤ר instructed him dib·ber אֵלָיו֙ ’ê·lāw לֵאמֹ֔ר , lê·mōr הִנֵּ֞ה “ Behold , hin·nêh פֶּֽה־ with one peh- אֶחָ֥ד accord ’e·ḥāḏ דִּבְרֵ֧י the words diḇ·rê הַנְּבִאִ֛ים of the prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm ט֖וֹב are favorable ṭō·wḇ אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the king . ham·me·leḵ נָ֧א So please nā דְבָרְךָ֛ let your words ḏə·ḇā·rə·ḵā וִֽיהִי־ be wî·hî- כְּאַחַ֥ד like kə·’a·ḥaḏ מֵהֶ֖ם theirs , mê·hem וְדִבַּ֥רְתָּ and speak wə·ḏib·bar·tā טּֽוֹב׃ favorably .” ṭō·wḇ 2 Chronicles 18:13 מִיכָ֑יְהוּ But Micaiah mî·ḵā·yə·hū וַיֹּ֖אמֶר said , way·yō·mer יְהוָ֕ה “ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh כִּ֛י . . . kî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חַי־ lives , ḥay- אֲדַבֵּֽר׃ I will speak ’ă·ḏab·bêr אֲשֶׁר־ whatever ’ă·šer- אֱלֹהַ֖י my God ’ĕ·lō·hay אֹת֥וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw יֹאמַ֥ר tells me .” yō·mar 2 Chronicles 18:14 וַיָּבֹא֮ When Micaiah arrived way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ - ’el- הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ - , ham·me·leḵ הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר asked way·yō·mer אֵלָ֗יו him , ’ê·lāw מִיכָה֙ “ Micaiah , mî·ḵāh הֲנֵלֵ֞ךְ should we go hă·nê·lêḵ לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה to war lam·mil·ḥā·māh אֶל־ against ’el- רָמֹ֥ת Ramoth-gilead , rā·mōṯ גִּלְעָ֛ד . . . gil·‘āḏ אִם־ or ’im- אֶחְדָּ֑ל should we refrain ? ” ’eḥ·dāl עֲל֣וּ “ Go up ‘ă·lū וְהַצְלִ֔יחוּ and triumph , ” wə·haṣ·lî·ḥū וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ Micaiah replied , way·yō·mer וְיִנָּתְנ֖וּ “ for they will be given wə·yin·nā·ṯə·nū בְּיֶדְכֶֽם׃ into your hand .” bə·yeḏ·ḵem 2 Chronicles 18:15 הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ But the king ham·me·leḵ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer
